This accommodation was really great! Would definetly recommend to anyone staying in the area who is needing a larger space. The place is exactly what you see in photos and it was a very open space that was able to accomodate 6 adults and a toddler well 😊

Cross County Cottage, sunsets, scenery, serenity.

We stayed at Cross Country over the long weekend as a family of 3. The cottage is in a stunning and private location with great views all around. We enjoyed the views of sunrise, sunset, the starry night sky as well as an early morning chase of the A3 comet! The cottage is very comfortable and homely, and is more spacious than the photos suggest. The lawn area is large, and we were given privacy to roam and enjoy the outdoors. We are hobby astrophotographers, and really appreciated that the hosts kept the property nice and dark for us (without us asking). We visited Esk, Toogoolawah, Somerset dam and Watt's Bridge (when a special breakfast event happened to be on during our stay), as well as Wivenhoe on our way back to Brisbane. Would recommend for a good value family stay.

Sandy's place is a Lovely home, very roomy and extremely well appointed. A Perfect place to spend quality time with friends or family. Only a short drive to town for supplies or dining options. Sandy was a great host, very responsive and generously provided extra touches like bottled water. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re looking for a private, relaxing getaway, this is the one 🏠 From the moment we arrived and tailed Debbi & John car through their field to the private, beautiful cabin by the creek, we knew we were in for a treat. The tiny home felt so spacious and had everything we needed - a BBQ, firepit, torches, bug spray, you name it. We had a lovely time walking along the creek trying to spot platypus and playing with cameras to take photos of the stars. A bonus- from some other reviews, we weren’t expecting to have internet connection so had downloaded a few movies. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had great connection (we’re with Optus), which meant we could Google some of the beautiful birds we saw, and try to map the constellations we could see from bed 💫

What a wonderful find so relaxing great for a couples retreat. The view is magnificent, the chalet is very modern easy to use and all the comforts you need. The spa was the highlight of our stay so relaxing just what we needed. Rob was fantastic when we arrived showed us other accomodations incase we wanted to bring the family back and gave us some background knowledge of the build and materials used for the chalet. Affinity we will be back!! Thank you.

It has absolutely everything we could have wanted, space, privacy, pool, sauna, spa, huge garden area to free roam, and all the comforts of home you could want. Little gem among nature! Sarah's cottage is easy to find, very clean and comfy. Felt like at home. If you're looking for something quiet especially at night, it's the place to be. Just be aware that it doesn't come with a kitchen, just a good size fridge and a microwave. But you have the option to have a nice breakfast or lunch at The Barn the cafe just behind the cottage. Sarah is a superhost, very easy to communicate with, very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend Sarah's place for a weekend getaway.

Julie was amazing! She was super sweet and helped us feel right at home. Her space, the scenery, and animals was just what we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. Julie even left us a breakfast kit which was so good and convenient. Overall fantastic stay, would love to come back someday!
