Vacation rentals with breakfast in Cayo District

Wow! This was our first time in Belize and we attribute our new found love to these amazing hosts and their awesome accommodations. We loved sitting on the upper porch in the morning watching the birds and neighborhood come alive. The hosts are truly amazing and inspirational people who deliver a personal touch unmatched by any other Airbnb we have stayed at. This was the best possible way to kick off our vacation in Belize and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. The accommodations were super clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. They even had ancient artifacts lying around that an archaeologist friend unearthed. Plus, we visited their newly built museum (a must-see). San Ignacio has so many little restaurants and the people were all super nice to us. This was a trip of a lifetime and a cultural experience like no other. The location is great as it is centrally located to so much to do. We extended our stay for a day and wish we had stayed longer.

This was a great place for us. The house was clean, and was close to food and a good location to launch our tours from. Nicole was very responsive and gave great recommendations. Worth It!

We had a lovely stay with Arturo and Maria. The room is very spacious with a hammock and a private bathroom. Everything was very clean for us. The rooftop also had hammocks for lounging that we could use. The main area in town for restaurants is only a 5-10 minute walk away over the bridge. Arturo and Maria were very welcoming, the breakfast is delicious and made with a lot of love and care. We had a lovely stay here.

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over misty mountains, and enjoy the view of the river and lush greenery from the porch. This off-grid haven allows you to disconnect and embrace nature's beauty, with colorful birds and butterflies all around Walter, our wonderful host, ensured our comfort with genuine care, making our stay special. A few tips: The house is a 45-minute drive from Benque Viejo del Carmen on a dirt road, adding to the adventure! The nearest grocery store is also 45 minutes away, but the host offers cooked meals, so you don’t have to worry about cooking. Despite the remote location, the WiFi worked well for Zoom calls. Our time at the jungle house was a life-changing experience. Walter and Lucy’s warmth made us feel truly loved and cared for. Thank you for creating such a special place.

What a gem 💎 in Belmopan! Ms Elma was truly the most wonderful host - she really took great care of me and showed me the kindness, warmth and amazing food of Belize. Will be back without a doubt should I ever need to stay in Belmo again. Thank you thank you thank you!! For those wondering: the location is amazing, completely safe. And the ensuite room is HUGE. A real treat.

We LOVED our stay here! We are 3 adventurous, 30-something couples and we felt like part of the family during our time here. We camp a lot, so the rustic vibe was great for us. This is not a luxury rental, this is a jungle cabin surrounded by nature and wildlife. If you don't like getting your shoes muddy, this place is not for you. The meals were delicious, they offer breakfast and dinner daily for a very reasonable price. Marcus was awesome with his recommendations and an all-around fabulous host and the pets roaming around the property was an added bonus. It was so nice hanging out with the other guests in the communal areas. The hosts provide a real sense of community here. 10/10 would stay again!

Juliet and Tony are amazing hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the cabin and my daily conversations with them. The breakfasts were authentic and amazing. The recommendations they provided for local fare and happenings did not miss. The cabin was a fantastic place as a home base to explore the area.

Jorge and Elena were great...they were very kind and helpful. Elena makes some amazing breakfasts and always had lots of fresh food for us. Would definitely stay here again when I return. The home is large, quiet and very clean. Thank you both for your hospitality.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nana’s AiBnb - it was one of the highlights of my visit to Belize! I felt warmly welcomed by Nana and her family - they were great company and provided lots of local recommendations and help, and also were very flexible and gave me plenty of space to come and go as I pleased, use the kitchen whenever I wanted, and so on. The location of the house is fantastic - literally two doors down from the entrance to the Cahal Pech ruins, on a peaceful hill overlooking San Ignacio. There is one steep section of the walk from town, but it was no problem and it’s a nice walk to/from downtown. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
