Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Cavendish

My wife and I stayed at David's place for six weeks. The complex pool, gym sauna etc were very good. The apartment had all the expected amenities, having an in house washer/dryer was what made us choose it. David stocked the apartment very well. The location close to Mt Snow was very nice. The area is unbelievably beautiful, we started to see the leaves turn. Wonderful! We were even privileged to see a Black bear mother and her cubs walk through the area. It must be noted that the bedroom has skylights, in summer it gets light early. All in all a very memorable stay. Thank you David

It’s a nice condo located near the slopes. Bus stop just down the street to go to the ski lift. The most wonderful selection of spices at the kitchen. Fireplace is a plus . Owner is very responsive and friendly . We will return for another skiing trips. Thank. You again cheers.

Had a great time on a short ski trip with my son. The place was clean, and very conveniently located close to the mountain. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!

Great place, perfect for 4 people. Right in between Okemo and Mt. Snow, had everything you need. Note that the kitchen does not have a stove/oven. Not a big deal, we just missed that initially in the listing. Thanks bill and Linda for a great stay

Awesome location right at the bottom of Pico & only minutes from Killington. The place was very clean and the fireplace was perfect to have on a cold winter night. Would definitely recommend!

We had a really cozy stay in the house which was comfortable and easy to use. Kitchen was decent. Lots of dishes and enough stuff to make anything. Tv and WiFi works well. Good water pressure. I struggled with the fireplace but maybe it’s my inexperience. Also felt that it wasn’t a convenient walk to the mountain over the bridge in the winter with ski kit. Otherwise a perfect 4 day ski trip.

Gail and Steve's place was great if your priority is being super-close to the mountain and having a pleasant place to stay. It's smallish--cozy or a bit cramped, depending on your perspective-- for the price, but the trade-off in proximity made it well worth it for us. The ski rental place in the condo building is top-notch. Super-clean. The photos were accurate, though the living room is a little smaller than I realized. And, if you choose to make dinner in their very well equipped and updated kitchen, expect the downstairs to smell like it--at least in the winter, when you can't open the sliding glass doors for long. The two bedrooms are completely adequate--again, on the small side, but good mattresses and way-above typical pillows (I find that Airbnbs tend to have crummy-at-best pillows), adequate slightly dated upstairs bathroom--there's another downstairs. No in-unit washer-dryer, but easy to access and use laundry room in the building. Pluses: the health club, Gail and Steve!

Tina's place was exceptionally clean and super convenient to Killington with an efficient shuttle to take you from the parking lot directly to the mountain. The condo unit itself seemed to attract a younger crowd and the neighbors upstairs were very noisy. While this is not the fault of the owner, it's something you should be aware of if you are traveling with young children. Overall I would recommend due to cleanliness and convenience.

Very friendly and accommodating host. Unit is a very comfortable for two people, but would feel crowded for more than that. Very convenient to skiing Building elevators could be cleaner. They were dirty, had cobwebs in lighting fixtures, and common area was unclean. Obviously nothing to do with the unit itself but pointing out as surprised me relative to my expectations. Unit was very clean so overall great experience

This condo was perfect for a ski getaway. The location was perfect, shuttle was so helpful, and Scott was very responsive. 10/10 would reserve this condo again!

5 min from Killington, great mountain chalet. Super private and quiet. We loved it.

We loved our stay at Topher and Nikki's place. Things we liked best: it was impeccably clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of firewood, a high-tech Tonal workout mirror, and was super close to the main part of town with a grocery store, restaurants, and gas station but still felt quiet and private. One thing to note: if you like it cool when you sleep don't plan to sleep upstairs. We'd love to come back the next time we're in VT.

Perfect stay for a big group of friends. Plenty of beds, super clean. The property is large and secluded and had tons of amenties. Dan is super responsive and really helpful with any questions that we had. We would happily to stay here again.

We had a great time. The townhouse was the perfect space for our groups ski vacation. We had easy access to the mountain with a short, easy 50 ft walk. Phil was very communicative and easy to work with.

We came back again during Thanksgiving week. We were there in 2022. This place has everything you need and the atmosphere is great. Easy drive to Rutland plus stop at Sparkle Barn. Donna is a very good communicator. I asked her for small xmas tree and we ended up with about 6 feet tall tree with lights. So cool! Thank you,Donna.

Beautiful high end home that’s comfortable and cozy. Extremely responsive host - had a couple of minor issues that Jeff responded to immediately. Worked out in the barn, and our dog loved the wide open spaces 😊

George and Valerie’s home was fantastic—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated like a charming ski cabin. As fellow rental owners, we could tell the hosts had thought of every detail. The cabin is incredibly well-equipped, and we’re definitely planning to return.
