Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Causeway Coast and Glens

Really nice property and super helpful host. Furnished to a really high standard, very modern, with big, powerful showers, lots of hot water and nice features like a tap that does hot water for tea/coffee. Beds are comfortable, and heating is easy to use. Clear instructions and quick response to any questions. Great location in Ballymena, 3 min drive to town centre, also walkable and the really nice People's Park nearby if you have kids. Ballymena is also a super base to explore some of the most scenic parts of N. Ireland - do day trips from there while being based in one of the main towns for restaurants, shopping and facilities. Hosts are very responsive and were flexible with a change of dates for our booking. The kids loved that there is a kind of secret cupboard under one of the beds, which they quickly moved into with torches and played staying quiet, which was nice while it lasted! A very happy house to stay in.

This a a great place to stay. 40 mins to Belfast and 40mins to Giants Causeway.Very near to Ballymena and Broughshane an ideal location . Barry is a fantastic host ,nothing is too much trouble,just ask and he will help.Barrys pub is over the road and a sign says arrive as a guest leave as a friend and that is what happens.The house is superbly finished and has all the amenities for a great holiday.When we arrived Barry had left bread ,milk butter ,juice ,water and plenty of other thing to start our holiday so no need to panic about groceries straight away.Supermarkets are about 15 mins drive away so easy to get to and there is a well stocked SPAR shop in Broughshane.We didn’t eat in the pub because it was absolutely rammed on Saturday night but I am guessing the food must be great.Barry did help us out with a huge bowl of some of the best chips I have ever tasted which we took back to the house.This is a 5 star Airbnb and Barry a 5 star host

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, inside and out!

Stayed here with a group of 6 for a 30th birthday weekend and could not recommend the place enough! One of the couples actually booked to stay again on the drive home. Has a small issue with beeping from the hot tub but someone was round to look at it 20mins after reporting it - outstanding speedy service! Definitely will be back 😊

Had a great stay at Patrick's, while up watching the SuperCupNI tournament. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet break

We had a great stay at Louise’s place in Ballycastle. The house was even nicer than the photos, really cosy and homely, also spotlessly clean. Kitchen had everything we could need and beds were super comfy. The house is hidden behind the Main Street so easy to walk into the town or down to the beach but it felt quite private, despite being so central there was no noticeable noise at night. Hosts responded to everything very quickly and were very accommodating with check in and out times. Would definitely stay again.

Steve and Joanne were very hospitable and kind. The stay was amazing with beautiful views, modern kitchen fittings, clean bathroom & good heating. There's lots to do in surrounding area particularly if you are interested in indigenous trees and birds. The hosts were quite enthusiastic to take us around for a guided tree & plants tour in their backyard which turned out to be very enjoyable for us. Glad that we could stay here !

For the past few years, my partner and I mostly only do Air BnB stays rather than hotels for staycations so we have been to quite a lot! I have to say that Shanvey School House/Harry’s is arguably the nicest stay we have had! The decor of the place is absolutely stunning and the area it is in matches that! The perfect base for any North Coast explorer, golfer or somebody who just wants a cosy escape! Our host Jill was so welcoming and we would recommend this stay to anyone! Be sure to visit Drenagh Gardens just a 5 min drive away! 😍😍😍

Beautiful guest house. Very quiet. The hot tub is relaxing. The only thing is the location is a bit further out if your wanting things to do your about 20/30 minutes away.

We spent 2 days at the Cottage in late Sept and could easily have spent more, the cottage was so peaceful, everything we needed was on hand and loved the log burner. Iris was very friendly but not intrusive, loads of maps/guidebooks to help plan your adventures. Our only regret was that it was a bit wet to explore the lovely garden and woodland walk. Would love to return some day.

The Walled Garden and the house itself are beautiful. So much consideration and thought has been put into every detail. Kari was lovely, and provided a fantastic collection of experiences and treats right at the property. The seaweed bath was so relaxing, as was the hot tub. Our dog was in her element also, as she was able to enjoy the freedom while being completely safe in the enclosed garden. It was a treat having such a lovely property that is dog friendly. Thanks for a memorable and revitalising visit!

We had a lovely stay! We added a fire pit with marshmallows & hot chocolate add-on to our stay, and the kids absolutely loved it. Cosy set-up and well organised with peaceful surroundings. Host was very responsive, and a hassle-free check-in.

Beautiful location and perfect getaway

From Georgina’s welcome right through to leaving we had an amazing stay, beautiful landscapes and the cabin is absolutely stunning, definitely planning to go back again.

Had a great family mini break. Area was safe for the kids to play and the fire pit at night was perfect to roast marshmallows. Very central to all attractions as in the giants causeway and the rope bridge. Would definitely book again
