A verifiable tree house. Open and airy with panoramic views of the forest - a very cozy retreat for a couple. House backs up to Brushy Ridge with glimpses of Gingercake and Parks Mountains peaking through. So many trails to hike close by. Driveway was small challenge with FWD - you have to maintain momentum and go straight up with no hesitation to get to the flat parking area - 4WD or AWD should have no problems. Andrew was a very responsive Host. We love the area and hope to come back again soon.

Easy to find location. Home matched the description. The instructions to the AC/heating units was very helpful, and all the amenities were in great shape. It was also really helpful to have the checkout instructions posted on the wall, which made checkout a breeze. The home was also clean upon check-in. Great, secluded and peaceful location near multiple hiking trails. Was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Just be aware the neighborhood area is not super walkable. No sidewalks or shoulders. But there is so little traffic on the back county roads that safety while walking is not a concern. I walked my dog first thing in the morning, and cars always have us gave room as they passed on the local neighborhood rural roads.

We had a great time here!! A beautiful little cabin with all the amenities needed for a stay. Very responsive host and friendly. Loved having a private hot tub surrounded by trees to relax in and a great spot to view some stars. We dined for breakfast at Louise’s Famous Rockhouse right down the street and highly highly recommend. Best biscuits ever had! We loved our visit to Newland!

Had an incredible stay! The amenities put everything all together and loved the fact that we were able to bring our fur babies! Peter was an amazing host and there was absolutely no issues while we were there!

Phillip was absolutely amazing throughout our entire stay. We had initially checked into a different Airbnb but there were issues with the home that made us unable to stay, I reached out to Philip and we were checked into his Airbnb within 30 minutes, truly saved our weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful along with the neighborhood, it’s very peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home, thank you again!

Went for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The cabin was very nice, it was peaceful and beautiful. We went to Morganton and shopped the local stores and ate and had the very best coffee at the book store Thornwell so I highly recommend.

Took my husband there for a birthday weekend. It was restful place to stay with lots to do with in about 30 minutes. The cabin was clean, the check out list was simple, the hot tub was great, and I would highly recommend a stay in this cabin. I had a couple of questions before arriving and Jamie the co host was quick to answer.

Two thumbs up on this lovely house. The views from the back porch were fantastic with nice open lake visible. The house is also on a cove, so a bit quieter than the main lake, but the water level off the dock was 12-14 ft so no issues with docking the boat we rented. There was a ladder for swimming and kayaks came with the house-we brought our own paddle boards. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of silverware and we were able to prepare two large meals for about 20 people with no issues. The driveway is a bit steep and long and there are stairs to navigate to get in the house and within so may be challenging if mobility an issue. The wifi was a bit slow if multiple folks using at once, but overall good for routine functions. The fire pit area was nice and well-maintained with seating for eight. Overall we loved this rental and would highly recommend.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay in the Green Unit for 2 nights. The unit was exactly as described. The lake view is gorgeous. Jeremiah was very responsive and provided an immediate resolution to an issue we experienced. I'd like to point out that there's a lot of stairs to climb to get to the green unit. The stairs are clearly visible in the pictures posted in this listed, but I wasn't sure whether that was the only entrance when I booked. It'd be nice if the listing description mentioned the stairs. All that being said, we definitely plan to book again!

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Stayed for several months while working remotely. Beautiful place in both winter and spring. Several gorgeous hiking trails nearby. Cabin is extremely cozy with a great private fire pit area in the back. Charcoal & gas grills provided. Very fast/reliable WiFi for streaming, Zoom calls, etc. Amazing host. William is super friendly and always willing to drop whatever he’s doing and answer any questions or provide assistance when needed. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

We were very happy and satisfied with the home and property, enough to do without leaving for the kiddo's for a three day weekend. Not one complaint. Victor responded immediately to our arrival and departure texts. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was amazing ! The cabin looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and cozy! The cabin comes with literally everything you need even down to the forks. Highly recommend!

We had a breathtaking view from the kitchen and the living room. There was 4 of us and the place was perfect. Lots of light throughout the house, however, loved how dark the bedrooms were for a good night sleep. We enjoyed kayaking and loved the lake and the trees view. Lots of seating places to enjoy the lake outdoors. Very calm and relaxing place, we only saw a few people, for most of the time it felt very private . The house was very clean, plenty towels, hardwood floors, ample space, fridge, etc. Wi-Fi went off the first night, but was OK next day. We only stayed 2 nights but we enjoyed every bit of it and we hope to be back soon. Jeremiah was quick to respond to messages. Definitely will be recommending this place to friends. The cherry blossom was blooming, which made the view even more beautiful! We saw a blue heron and lots of other birds. Loved this place!

This was our second trip to Christy’s place. That should tell you everything you need to know. It is super clean. Beautiful and remote but all the comforts of home. Great property!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

We loved our stay here. The place was just as described but the pictures did not do it justice. The surroundings were beautiful and it was so peaceful. My husband had a blast fishing from the pond almost everyday after work. We are hoping we are working in this area again soon and hope this place is available when that time comes.
