House vacation rentals in Catania

I took advantage of two apartments of Caterina, which are in a quiet area, controlled by a guard, near the metro station and equipped with a very comfortable parking lot. What more could you want?

The place was exactly as pictured: gorgeous for sun exposure. A huge terrace facing the south kissed by the morning sun, too bad there was not a towel to make more shade especially during lunch time, because it could have been used even at that time....however there is a very large and habitable terrace also in the east of the apartment that we used for lunch, facilitated by a breeze almost always present. If I can make a single "note" (which I put in quotation marks x 'is only for one of my needs, let's say physical): the bed with the footboard for me, which is 1.92 tall was uncomfortable... but really unique note that I allow myself to define "out of tune" in the tranquility and relaxation of the holidays we spent in the apartment. Lastly, but not least, Carlo was perfect. I would say: always with a smile and also available: we did not have to disturb him. Everything had been explained perfectly upon our arrival.

I had a lovely stay at Giuseppina's. I felt very welcomed and safe - I was on my own for some of the time. Giuseppina is very kind and helped me with any questions. The terrace is lovely to sit out in, with the garden around. There is a busy road outside and some traffic noise but it is Italy. I appreciated having a microwave, kettle and fridge to be able to make breakfast and snacks.

What a nice surprise! Peaceful accommodation in the countryside, very clean ... functional kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable beds... Mark was adorable: 48 hours before our arrival we had an explanatory video to arrive at the accommodation... the same day at 12:00 p.m. we had a message to tell us that we could anticipate our arrival because the accommodation was ready! Perfect… not to mention the bath towels for the shower … and the hot tub! We really enjoyed this relaxation area after a busy day! A place we would recommend without hesitation! Thank you Mark …

We spent 4 days in Massimo's apartment and were delighted. Everything was great! Massimo is a gracious and friendly host who gave us very good tips. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, also quietly located. You can also sit in front of the apartment in the yard when the weather is nice. The location of the apartment was optimal for us - 12 minutes walk from Ercolano Scavia station and the central street with nice cafes and restaurants. We arrived by train and never missed a car. From the train station you are in 20 minutes each in the center of Naples or - if you drive in the other direction - in Pompeii. And from the train station, the buses also go to Vesuvius, the tickets can be bought right next to the train station building. In our opinion, you can only recommend Massimo's apartment and we will be happy to come back!

What stood out the most was, Chiara. She’s lovely! Kind, knowledgeable, happy to help, patient and basically a delight. She really made our stay with the right recommendations and friendly smile. We are very happy to have met her and have stayed at her family’s place- super clean, cozy, everything we needed.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Lucia’s place! Lots of cafes/pizzerias and super markets located on the same street (our favorite place for breakfast was Pasticceria Avitabile Gelateria). Great location if you want to explore the Amalfi Coast-about an hour to Positano, 35 minutes to Amalfi (depending on the traffic), 50 minutes to Pompeii. The place was clean and had great view of the ocean from the terrace.

What a gem this place was! Just a few minutes walk downhill from the main part of the village with easy parking. But far enough away to feel like we were in a peaceful bubble - the garden was our favorite part of our stay. We could lay out in the spring sun on the provided lounge chairs, enjoy meals outside and admire the sea, all while being hidden away from the road and neighbors. We also really appreciated all of Mariangela’s help - she was in contact throughout the stay to make sure we were comfortable and had every thing we needed for us and our baby. The provided crib was perfect. We will be back!

The property is beautifully situated on the mountain, above the village. You have a view of the valley, the sea and the picturesque mountain village. Pietro and his wife were a very likeable couple and helped us at all times. The place is very nice, clean and modern. We were very comfortable! Thank you.

Great host, great house! Had everything you need, including some cute little geckos in the garden at night. We rented a car which helped to get to the supermarket and to Salerno which is well worth a visit. Thank you for a great place to stay.

We had a great stay at Alberico’s place. The house was nice clean and beautiful. Within a short drive to many places on the Amalfi Coast. Alberico and his wife were very helpful with recommendations and and very responsive. Thank you we will be back!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Cozy, spacious accommodation with great outdoor area. The saltwater pool and outdoor shower are amazing. The kitchen is great, everything is taken care of. There are games, books, loungers and water play equipment for outside. We were very happy to use the outdoor kitchen, a highlight is the large barbecue. The house is very quiet, the huge garden with the fruit trees (from which you can eat) is also great for children. The landlord is incredibly helpful and available at any time. Car is necessary to visit the small and large cities outside. We had a great time here, even in wind and rain you will find a dry spot on the large covered terrace. We will be happy to come back, thank you for everything!

This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

Very nice stay in a beautiful area Mina and Andrea are welcoming, caring, attentive hosts… very attentive to us Their villa is splendid, clean and tastefully decorated: a real little paradise! It looks exactly like the photos. Thanks again a thousand times to Mina and Andrea for hosting us.

Our stay was incredible. From the villa, to the patio, to the surrounding areas, and THE VIEW this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Luigi made many recommendations to us for restaurants and attractions, even including restaurants that would pick us up and drop us off. We had a car, but this made it even easier for us to enjoy our evenings. And in case you’re wondering, the view that’s shown on the listing - it looks just like that. We spent an entire morning lounging on the rooftop and staring at Capri. Thank you again for such a wonderful getaway!

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

We had a lovely stay in this accommodation. We visited Sicily during the off season and still had great warm weather. We were welcomed by Angelo and Saro who showed us the accommodation. Both were in contact with us over messenger and gave us many tips on nice beaches and restaurants. The accommodation was very clean with a lovely interior. We had a place to park our car right beside the door. You can take your breakfast on the beach, just walk over the street and you are there. Keep in mind that the street ist right beside the accommodation and the cars drive quite fast so it can be a little louder. Thank you for the stay!

It’s our second time staying at this beautiful slice of heaven. Cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful, clean, isolated but close to lots of amazing places to eat and things to do, spacious, and Sophie & Giovanni are responsive, helpful and kind hosts. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Allison goes above and beyond. Fully stocked kitchen with fresh eggs ,fruit and wine.Anna brought us fresh pastries every morning, removed trash and changed and refreshed our bedrooms and bathrooms . The King beds and rooms are spacious and comfortable and the exterior has every amenity. Every detail has been thought through. Do not miss the opportunity to stay in this beautifully appointed vacation home.

Fantastic place to stay in Naples with super hosts. Good selection of snacks and drinks provided. Great pizza place and trattoria within just a few minutes walk. If you’re there for 2 or 3 days it’s worth buying a Napoli Artecard - covers 3 museums and all city public transport- ( we found it useful to take screenshots before going down into the Metro where the signal was patchy). It was wonderful to return to such an oasis of calm after the bustle of the streets. Thank you Stefano and Laura

We were lucky enough to meet Michela personally and have some great addresses with her. The apartment has a wonderful view and is located in the Jewish quarter of Modica , quiet and clean . I recommend it

Very special house surrounded by olive, almond and fig trees (very good to pick and eat). The kitchen is well and abundantly equipped, with lots of dishes available. A quiet location surrounded by greenery with beautiful sunsets on the terrace. A nice vacation!

Everything was absolutely amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to Siracusa and would definitely like to book this accommodation again next time! Perfect!
