Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Cat Island

Location was awesome at end of street. Beautiful beach very private. Lovely view of Atlantic Ocean. Good floor plan for family or two couples. Well equipped.

We had a spectacular week at the Banana Wind House! We were looking to get away and unplug and got exactly that. Being able to open the door, walk out onto the beach, and do a nice morning skinny dip made us very happy. The caretaker, Harrison, was incredibly nice and helpful our entire stay and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for those looking to get away from crowds and reboot.

Another fabulous stay at Shangri La. Beyond gorgeous beach!! Cat Island is where I go for great DIY bonefishing and to enjoy the welcoming and low key pace of the island.

We came to visit for an extended weekend and this place, along with Wendy and Ezra were very welcoming and helped make sure we could relax. The location is very close to New Bight airport and centrally located on the island. Made for easy trips around to see everything Cat island had to offer. Just watch out for the pot holes! We brought our two German Shepherds along and they could not have had a more fun time swimming and running on the beach and inlet. The island has miles of pristine beaches and was calm on the Caribbean side and larger waves on the Atlantic. The outdoor shower along with the spray down area on the porch came in very handy. Since it is a lightly populated island, restaurants/food should be coordinated. Wendy and Ezra can definitely help with that, but choices would be as expected for such a small population. With 5 units, I would want to come back with more family or friends next time!

This was our second stay at this house and wont be the last. Great floor plan, well equipped and the location is breathtaking. Very private, quiet, and felt right at home (have never seen another person on the beach that runs for miles. The house comes with a kayak and lots of beach chairs and snorkel equipment which is great for the reef right in front of the house. The small ice maker in the kitchen is great for afternoon cocktails and the drinking water dispenser is a super benefit. Beds are very comfy as are the furnishings. The beach would be very well suited to children and is calmer than the Eastern shore beaches. Plenty of places and other beaches to explore nearby and an easy 30 minute drive from the airport with grocery store, 2 bakeries, a well stocked liquor store, 2 gas stations located on the drive to the house.

Updated, clean, and perfectly located. Everything was as advertised and worked perfectly, and Victoria responded within minutes to all of our inquiries. I would definitely rent this house again!!

The turquoise villa is beautiful and well designed to maximize views, minimize heat and to provide outdoor social space. the wrap around verandah, hammocks, picnic tables and grill are great, as are the gardens. The three bedrooms are excellent--water pressure is strong in the bathrooms and water quickly hot, without any wellwater smell, which can be common in the out islands. Appliances worked well --fridge needs a rust treatment but this is cosmetic. Internet was reliable and fast, even supporting fast streaming at night. AC worked well. the fantastic beach is a short walk away as I'd greenwood resort where you can get meals. i the only major concern is the driveway. it is not paved and recent rain has eroded it, it was hard on tires of SUV to get up into the yard so take note. the approach to the house on Williams way has bushes that can scratch car as well, but this is beyond Peo's responsibility. peo communicated well and gave useful advice re car rental.

Gorgeous beach- great for walking with calm bay. Quiet location. Great view from deck, very complete kitchen, beach chairs handy, plenty of towels, adjacent to hiking trail to end of island, friendly neighbors, & delicious local restaurant food. Be aware of rough roads the last couple miles. Our rental car company limited the types of vehicles they would rent for that area. Be prepared for life without power. Bring cash as everything reverts to a cash economy when the power is down.
