Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Cat Island

Location was awesome at end of street. Beautiful beach very private. Lovely view of Atlantic Ocean. Good floor plan for family or two couples. Well equipped.

We had a spectacular week at the Banana Wind House! We were looking to get away and unplug and got exactly that. Being able to open the door, walk out onto the beach, and do a nice morning skinny dip made us very happy. The caretaker, Harrison, was incredibly nice and helpful our entire stay and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for those looking to get away from crowds and reboot.

Another fabulous stay at Shangri La. Beyond gorgeous beach!! Cat Island is where I go for great DIY bonefishing and to enjoy the welcoming and low key pace of the island.

We came to visit for an extended weekend and this place, along with Wendy and Ezra were very welcoming and helped make sure we could relax. The location is very close to New Bight airport and centrally located on the island. Made for easy trips around to see everything Cat island had to offer. Just watch out for the pot holes! We brought our two German Shepherds along and they could not have had a more fun time swimming and running on the beach and inlet. The island has miles of pristine beaches and was calm on the Caribbean side and larger waves on the Atlantic. The outdoor shower along with the spray down area on the porch came in very handy. Since it is a lightly populated island, restaurants/food should be coordinated. Wendy and Ezra can definitely help with that, but choices would be as expected for such a small population. With 5 units, I would want to come back with more family or friends next time!

We loved out 2 week stay! The host was very responsive and checked in several times to ensure everything was going well. The property matched the listing pictures and description so we were very happy. Our goal was a stay with peace and privacy, but also room to explore. This stay nailed that for us. We spent numerous days walking the beach, snorkeling, fishing, and just sitting. Other days we spent exploring the island and meeting locals. Cat Island and this stay is great for those looking to escape the crowds and noise / light pollution that many other places bring. We'd happily stay here again. As a perk, the host also connected us with the local car rental guy as well as other resources. If we had to pick a downfall (which has nothing to do with the house or host), the island does have relentless noseeums in the mornings and evenings (similar to that of other dense tropical areas), so just prepare for that. Otherwise, come stay, enjoy the seclusion, but also mingle with the locals!

Updated, clean, and perfectly located. Everything was as advertised and worked perfectly, and Victoria responded within minutes to all of our inquiries. I would definitely rent this house again!!
