Had a great time at this charming country house. The valleys and hikes around the area are beautiful.

We spent a beautiful week of vacation with our two dogs, at Emanuela and Daniele's house. The apartment is cozy, great for couples traveling with dogs or children and very well equipped. Absolutely nothing is missing to be able to organize yourself as if you were in your own home. The location is great, both for beautiful and relaxing walks in the woods, and for visiting the Monregalese and Cuneo, all places that deserve a lot. The climate is great, dry heat during day and cool at night/ night. Absolutely sleeps with the cover. In Viola you can find the Bottegone, grocery and housewives very well-stocked, and Walter's great restaurant (the sweets and spirits of their own produce are absolutely to be tried). Don't miss a lunch at the farm Il Balzo, it is well worth it. If you are passionate about biking or skiing, depending on the season, you can reach the facilities on foot in 3 minutes. Gilles is an easy contender for the kindest man in France. Let alone his hospitable acceptance and overall welcoming spirit. The peace and views of his home are very healing and much needed time to feel immersed in the landscape of the surrounding mountains. You can tell he built this place with his heart and soul and loves each moment shared in his home. All the best Gilles!

A great place to stay, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Very clean, super equipped kitchen and the hostess was always available for any questions & she even offered us vegetables from her vegetable garden. The pool and garden is very well maintained, the house even more beautiful than in the photos and the area very quiet. The supermarket or restaurant is a 15-minute drive by car. After a rainstorm on site, Lara and her husband had cleaned up and sorted everything on the property super quickly, incredibly great! She is a SUPER great host and we would come back any time. :-) Thank you! We were thrilled and the place gets 5***** from us.

Our stay was fantastic. Mart's daughter was our contact person and was very helpful and very quick to respond. The house itself is also great! Beautiful views and equipped with every comfort. Spacious kitchen, places to eat outside and plenty of spacious bedrooms with nice beds.

We can greatly recommend to stay at this beautoful airbnb in the mountains. It is very peaceful and has beautiful views. Rimplas is a beautiful village. There is also plenty to things to do around albeit we mainly where here for cycling. Katy's place appears bigger than on the images and you could easily stay here with eight adults. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Katy also communictates proactively, had several recommendations. It is very remote, supermarkets are rather far away and restaurants are scare, but you can bring your amenities as Katy has two fridges. There are no ACs which was a bit of an issue in combination with the mosquitos so both leaving the windows open or closed was not really ideal. A great deal to recharge in the Alpes.
