Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

Stefania was an incredible host!! She gave us many recommendations for local restaurants to get the authentic Palermo experience! The beaches nearby were gorgeous. Well worth what we paid, Mondello is a beautiful area. We felt right at home! I wish we could have stayed longer.

A great apartment in a beautiful location, right on the water between the bay and the beach. 😊We really enjoyed the view from the kitchen! We had a great stay and even lucky to be able to park our car right outside the door, as it is still very quiet here in March and has also not yet opened the restaurant before. We therefore only belonged to the water pump every now and then, but it seems to be possible to turn off at night. The communication with Federica was really good, and you got help and response very quickly. Also the neighbors were very nice:) All in all clean and cute place with great value for money. Very great place to stay! We (2 people) felt right at home. Once there, we were able to park our car right in front of it. Quiet and charming area and very close to the sea! Francesco had previously informed us that his mother would be present at check-in. She had already been waiting for us and welcomed us in a very friendly way. The place was exactly as described, very clean and nicely decorated. Francesco sent us a short checklist the day before we left, thus enabling a smooth check-out. We highly recommend the place and would definitely go back. Thank You!

This is a great apartment, with a perfect location - on the seafront, a few minutes walk to the sany beach, and surrounded by many restaurants / bars / shops. Everything you could need is included with this Airbnb, and the off street parking is a real bonus. On our next return to Mondello, we won't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

The host Maria, her son and Maria's sister were fantastic. On the way there we had delays on the flights and we arrived at 10 pm instead of 5 pm, despite this Maria was very kind and waited for us awake to give us the keys. Maria's sister is in the apartment below and is always available for advice on places and/or restaurants. The only flaw of the apartment could be the stairs in case a person has mobility problems; as to access the apartment you need to climb this very steep spiral staircase.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

We were warmly welcomed :) Great views on both sides. The view of the sea and the mountain is beautiful. The apartment has everything you need. We will be happy to come back.

Very very nice and individually furnished tasteful apartment, very very charming terrace overlooking the fruit garden and over the whole bay, we got a bottle of red wine to welcome us and were allowed to use oranges, lemons from the garden that were really delicious!! In Santa Flavia, which is also within walking distance, there are small original grocery stores and everything you need. There is also a train connection to Palermo during the day. Filippo picked us up in the village and dropped us off at the property. Very friendly, many helpful tips about Palermo and surroundings, he also sent us further information via WA on our demand for a good term. -- Highly recommended accommodation! We felt very comfortable!

We felt very comfortable from the first second. We were greeted in a very friendly manner. Our car could be parked on the house premises. We particularly liked the apartment or suite. We were able to stay very nicely and cozily on a roof terrace above it. If we come back to Palermo, we will gladly ask you again. Thank you for everything.

What a great stay for me and my friends. We loved our time here; the Airbnb offers a lovely place to spend time even if you don’t have a car. You can tan in the back and read a book in the front; comfortable, clean, and just really great views from the yard. Beautiful inside, tiles, and the best part of all, Mimmo and Rita. Those two made our trip easy and breezy. Picked us up, took us to the supermarket, just great, friendly people who took care of us. We had so much fun, highly recommend!

STEFANO's place was so wonderful and the access to the private docks with lifeguards was amazing (and the Mediterranean water was divine). STEFANO was very helpful and kind and I highly recommend his place if you want to have a quiet and private retreat 10 mins from the airport and 20 minutes from Palermo.

If you’re looking for a modern home, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a mansion by the sea with classic old Italian style and an unbeatable location, this is the place for you. Giovanni even hooked us up with a private chef to come to the house for one night of our trip. There’s a coffee shop, restaurant and pharmacy all within a block. This house is perfect for a large group and Giovanni has excellent communication. Thanks for hosting us Giovanni! We had a wonderful time!

Very nice place to stay, incredible hospitality, within walking distance of a beautiful beach (not crowded). Perfect place to discover Palermo and its surroundings.

The place was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too loud at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious place, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were also great! As for the resort itself (Aspra), it must be said that it is unfortunately difficult to get around without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not particularly nice, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Great place and Great Location!

Our stay in Mondello was wonderful. Enrico is a responsive and very friendly host. The accommodation was pristinely clean, nicely decorated , spacious, and had a veranda with a view that can’t be beat. It is located directly across from the beach, is close to many great restaurants, walkable, safe and well lit. Enrico’s recommendations helped us to narrow down our choices.

Great apartment right next to the train station and also a quick walk to the coast. Santo was great at providing advice on where to go and what to see.

Perfect stay! The accommodation is amazing, and the views from the pool are unreal. Paola and Angelo are very welcoming and friendly. We will certainly miss the morning sweet treats that were left for us! The apartment is walking distance to Mondello bay where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a hire car and there was space to park this at the property. Our only complaint - that we didn’t stay longer!
