Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Castel Focognano

Beautiful spacious place, just as in the photos, everything worked well and there is excellent wifi. Alessandro was there to meet us, even though we were delayed at the airport. He made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is only 5 minutes from the station, and there are lots of nice places to eat and drink within walking distance. The locals were very friendly, and kind when we tried to speak Italian! Thank you for a lovely stay, Alessandro!

Very much enjoyed Campo Pineta and the tower where we stayed. Property included two other rentals, all attached to host's home. All beautifully restored! Alessandra's English is good and she is very responsive. She is the quintessential host, always smiling and eager to help. Location is up some windy single lane roads but we are used to that; enjoyed the privacy. It overlooks the Arno Valley, the A1 and the high speed train but we didn't hear noise from the valley, a true oasis up in the hills only a 10 or 15 minute drive down to towns of Incisa and Figline where we loved the massive COOP grocery store with more selections and much lower costs than Whole Foods back home. Also a good restaurant right down the hill and the train station was very easy for running into Florence. We stayed a month over Oct/Nov, did 1.5 hour driving day trips and many days simply stayed home, read and hiked. We go to Italy 2x/yr and booked same place for next Oct/Nov...loved it.

Stunning mountain scenery and a cozy and stylish apartment. The bed was the most comfortable one we slept on during our whole trip. We were really able to relax at Adriana’s place and she was a delight and very helpful.

Aurora was a very responsive host and accommodated any needs we had. Place was as listed. About 30 min to downtown by bus. Be aware of the last bus back to the air bnb as we missed it and had to buy a taxi back. Overall a good place to stay if you want a peaceful stay outside of the city.

We stayed at Casa Ciappi for three whole months in Summer, and it was absolutely amazing! The house and surrounding land is beautiful, with ample space for our kids to play around, whilst being secluded and fenced for peace of mind. Area is very quiet, with little to no traffic on the "main" road. Inside is spacious and relatively cool despite the super-hot temperatures. A fully-equipped kitchen meant living comfortably during our stay, and internet was decent - we had multiple video calls with ease. Full of character, a Tuscan country house architecture with tasteful decor, surrounded by green hills, flowers and trees, birdsong and insect chirping…bliss! Nearby grocery shop was useful, and plenty of restaurants a short drive away with tasty food at reasonable price. Michela and her parents basically became our second family during our stay, they and their dogs are super friendly! Summary: gorgeous place with absolutely lovely hosts, 10/10 we will do our best to revisit!

We used two apartments because we were a group. Clean, quiet, with fenced garden and very close to the Arezzo Equestrian Center. We had a good time and plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool. Luca is a very friendly and fair owner.

I can’t say enough about this place! The views are stunning! The house is clean and has everything you need! Jane is a wealth of knowledge and very responsive. A car is an absolute must! Be aware of the location and distances to towns. But it is worth it! It is peaceful and quiet and there isn’t a better place to have a caffé or wine on the patio! The house is perfect for two couples. It’s like two private apartments in the same house.

We had a great time, the apartment was really comfortable and Claudia was an exquisite and very helpful person... too bad we could only spend two days, but we really needed a lot to unplug. Thank you for everything!!!

Franco & family were outstanding hosts. Helped us with reservations & shopping recommendations. You must visit his leather stores. We all bought gorgeous coats & bags. Apt. Was beautiful in great location. Wish we could stay longer. Do not hesitate to book this.

We really had a perfect stay at this location. First, the location of the stay was great. In addition, it was particularly noticeable how well the host handled issues. Was arranged super quickly and was extremely nice! Will definitely come back!

Clara was super helpful when we arrived and gave us a personal tour of the property. We loved our stay here as it was very cozy and in a great location. We will be back!

Amazing find in Florence. The place feels like an authentic Italian home. There is plenty of room for a big family to sprawl out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need if you wanted to cook or at least make your morning coffee. The host was fantastic and very responsive, even helping us arrange for a cab at 4:00am the next day to the airport. Location wise, you can't find a better spot for your time in Florence. You are near all of the attractions, shopping, and have plenty of great food options close by. Everything that isn't close by, is a simple 10 minute walk in any direction. The location makes exploring the city that much easier and enjoyable. I would stay again during my next visit to Florence.

Luca was a great host! Easy check in and they provided everything we needed!The apartment was clean and beautiful! The location is great! In the heart of Florence! Wonderful stay! I highly recommend! I would most definitely stay there again!

Lovely place, very clean and walking distance to everything, (which is a plus if you got kids and need to drop shopping off before you carry on exploring), can’t beat the location and the view was a treat. The check in was very informative and Clara was extremely helpful, taking the time to suggest the local bio grocery shops and other things to do in the area. The bed linen was pressed and beds/pillows were very comfortable. There were extra coffee capsules in case we needed more (which we were more than grateful for - thank you!). Only one small downside, since it’s super central one can’t get away from the noise in the evenings, for it being in the busy location, which didn’t bother us much, however, the cleaning and garbage removal tracks are quite noisy during the deep night, but nothing major. And it was lovely and almost romantic hearing the church bells in the mornings. We enjoyed our stay at Silvia’s place and highly recommend it! Thank you :)

Our wedding at Villa Cini was truly magical. The venue’s blend of natural beauty and elegance provided the perfect backdrop for our stay during the week and our special day. The gardens and stunning views created a fairy tale atmosphere and allowed to us have both an Indian wedding and an Italian Civil one. The arches ballroom, offered a romantic and inviting ambiance. We are incredibly grateful to have a chosen a place which has passed down for generations and has such a heartfelt attention to detail. Our stay at the villa felt like living in a postcard- breathtaking surroundings! The historic villa was charming and comfortable for our group of 5. The area is idyllic and the onsite winery is a fantastic plus. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor areas. Great laundry facilities as well . Vicky was very helpful and gave us great advice on local sites. We would definitely return !

Our stay at Villa Chiara was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the hills it offered a picturesque view of the Tuscan countryside. The villa itself was spacious and well maintained. It felt like home away from home. The pool and back patio are surrounded by lovely flowers, herbs and olive trees. Offering a spectacular view of the evening sunsets. The location was perfect to take short day trips to Siena, Florence and Montepulciano. Highly recommend for a serene, peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Villa Bellavista is a true gem in the heart of Chianti Classico. Its location, overlooking the beautiful "Conca d'oro" valley, offers stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, the villa provides complete privacy and peace. The spacious interior, with a large kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped bathroom, ensures a relaxing stay. The host was very helpful and always available. He provided a secure space to store our bikes, which was very convenient. The outdoor area, with a pool and relaxation space, is perfect for enjoying the Tuscan sun. The property is well-secured, making it ideal for guests with pets. The walk to Panzano in Chianti takes just a few minutes. Overall, this place is a perfect getaway with breathtaking scenery and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We spent a glorious and relaxing week at Sarchianello and could not recommend it more. The location was perfect for day trips to local places like Siena and Montalcino, and it was the ideal place to return to for an evening of eating and drinking. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave! It truly felt like a home away from home.

Exceptional villa just outside of Florence! Our family of 6 spent 5 blissful nights in this amazing home and loved every minute! The property/view is breathtaking! The villa is filled with comfortable furnishings/linens/beds! The tennis court, hot tub and outside kitchen made for extra-special fun! We visited late November but could still take advantage of all of the amazing outdoor spaces/activities and views!! We used the villa as a home-base for exploring Florence and Tuscany and it was absolutely PERFECT for us in every way!!! And the icing on the cake: Cinzia and Chef Patrizia are both INCREDIBLE!!! Cinzia’s hospitality was exceptional and Chef Patrizia wowed us with her incredible cooking skills and warm and positive presence. We booked her for 3 memorable meals (one of which was a cooking lesson that thrilled all ages!)! She is our new best friend and we can’t wait to go back to visit the beautiful villa and lovely people that captured our hearts!!!
