My extended family and I had a wonderful stay at the Flying Squirrel Lodge! The property is meticulously maintained, with beautiful handcrafted furniture, high-end finishes, and thoughtful details. We appreciated the well-furnished kitchen, as we cooked most of our meals. And the kids loved the game room downstairs. The bathrooms are spacious and clean, and have everything one might need (obviously besides personal items), plus some unexpected extras, like a towel warmer. The pellet stove was a nice touch, and kept us toasty warm. Lastly, the jukebox provided great tunes.

The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The location was stunning—beautiful scenery all around, and it felt so peaceful and private, exactly what we were looking for. The house itself had absolutely everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. We also loved exploring the local wineries, which were just a short drive away. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a gorgeous setting, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

The house was huge. Beautifull and well stocked kitchen. Outdoor was peaceful and enormous yard where we could run and play. My whole family can't wait to go back.

What a pleasurable stay for our extended family. The house was meticulous and beautiful. This was not a cheap flip. This home was done with care for detail. The view was absolutely magnificent, and what a treat to see elk and deer come to the pasture for the children to see. Everyone in our family said how much they loved the stay. It was well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive!

An awesome find! We loved visiting and will visit again on another vacation. The place was clean and neat. The beds are very comfortable. The view was stunning and the privacy was exactly what we were looking for. We saw deer, plenty of fish and some turkeys and squirrels hanging around. The place was so peaceful and relaxing. Mandy was an excellent host and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The cupboards were stocked with snacks and plenty of essentials. Pickleball in the driveway was a fun bonus that we had not considered. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. Looking forward to another visit.

My husband and I started our honeymoon off in the perfect place. It was private, peaceful, and a great space to stay for our first night as a married couple. Definitely recommend for an easygoing getaway!

We had a fantastic time at Jim and Nancy’s place. There were detailed labels and instructions for all of the lighting, switches, and amenities in the house which made it very easy to get comfortable and familiar as soon as we arrived. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were well stocked with everything you could need to feel right at home. We enjoyed relaxing by the gas fireplace and being able to look out the back windows to wildlife enjoying the bird feeders. There were suggestions in the breakfast nook for things to do nearby. We ended up checking out Martin’s pantry which was absolutely delicious. Nancy was thoughtful and quick to respond, and helped make for an overall great relaxing weekend getaway
