Cottage vacation rentals in Caseville Township

Our family had the most wonderful time. This place exceeded expectations. As other reviewers have mentioned this place is very well stocked. We rode bikes to the ice cream shop, swam at the nearby beach (most days we had it to ourselves), grilled, had a campfire, enjoyed the lovely view from the porch and drove into town to go out to eat. The hosts were very welcoming and even provided a cute little frog table and chair for our little one. We would love to book again some time. Sadly, it does not come with the cute pictured pug. :)

Sarah's place was a dream. My husband and I stayed for my birthday weekend in April 2025 with our toddler and infant. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We loved the huge kitchen with space to cook our own Easter meal, decorate eggs, and spread out all of our children's Easter goodies on the large dining table. The kitchen and living area are the best parts of the home -- spacious, clean, and free of clutter. We loved waking up each morning to the lake view along with the accessibility of the grill and hot tub just steps from the kitchen/dining/living area. Sarah was a proactive and welcoming host, and did everything she could to try to make it right when we found the coffeemaker missing (a previous guest had broken it, and it was being replaced). This is a remote location perfect for getting away from the city, but Tawas is a quick 30-40 minute drive away with a cute downtown, pier, and state park. We definitely felt rejuvenated after our stay -- thank you!!!

Had an amazing long weekend - place was beautiful with clean, simple, beach decor. Amazing beach with chairs, toys, kayaks, fire pit, hammocks, umbrella, you name it…. Hot tub was clean and it being built into the deck was super convenient. Guest house was adorable and perfect for my little brother. Host was so responsive and helpful. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this cottage. Even though we had rainy weather were still able to enjoy our trip, we felt cozy and right at home. Host is very helpful and responsive.

Great stay for the weekend! Clean and cosy! Quick walk to the beach and within a short drive to other beaches and hiking. Our pup loved the gated backyard to play in as well! Hosts were quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend!

We stayed at The Nest in early February 2025. Ann Marie has really done a great job with this place. The artwork she has in various places really makes the space feel quaint. I also found myself thinking at one point that she'd REALLY thought of everything! From pet dishes, to dog toys and treats, to great coffee. She even had a trunk full of games! We were there for a funeral and needed to have a place to change, and she was willing to let us check in early. Most places were closed for the season, but in the warmer months, this place is walkable to most everything you'd want in Port Austin. The only thing that could've made our stay better....I wished the driveway/walk had been shoveled. To be fair, I also didn't have time to reach out to let her know it wasn't. She likely assumed that it was.

My 3 sons and I had a great time at Steve’s cabin. We had docking for our 2 boats and my dog could access the water easily. The fire pit and wood supply was a huge hit. The lake was as peaceful and beautiful as I remember it from the 70’s. The cabin had a lot more personality than any new-build could ever have. The location was very private and quiet. The fact that most of the cabins are vacation homes makes Sage Lake all that more desirable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cutie Pie Cottage! The place was charming, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home, and the attention to detail in the decor was just perfect. A special shoutout to Marci, who was incredibly helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Her hospitality truly made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a relaxing and adorable place to stay, this is it!

The house was very nice. It was spacious and clean. It was close to restaurants and other stores. We had a nice, relaxing time.

The Little Oak Cottage was a perfect getaway for my wife and I (and our dog). The cabin was small but was perfect for our needs. This cabin is just a short walk to a small beach and a short drive to all kinds of restaurants but situated in the small town of Au Gres so it was really quiet and peaceful.

This was by far one of the best Airbnbs that we’ve ever rented. Thomas and Karen were kind and excellent hosts - their response times were lightening-fast, they answered all of our questions before booking, and addressed any minor issues we had during our 2-month stay quickly. They even sent us a baby bath for our infant son! Their home is comfy, spacious, and fully-stocked with essentials, linens, DVDS, and games for a comfortable stay. The kitchen especially has everything you could possibly need! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Our dog had lots of room to run in the backyard and beyond in the lake bed. Even without the lake, the view is scenic and feels very private. Thomas and Karen were so welcoming — we highly recommend their home!

Area was beautiful and close to town. Host was accommodating and kind. Offered early and late check in due to ice storm which left my family without power. The home was large and comfortable. I would absolutely use them again!

Stay was fantastic. We had three adults and one child. The upstairs room was perfect for our 8 year old. Our visit was shorter and we would have loved to spend more in the swim spa and "clubhouse" area. We do have family in Port Austin and we can envision more visits up and will stay again if available and Julie would have us. My father did have some allergy related issues due to pets being welcomed, so that may be a concern based on your allergy situation. The only other item I could nitpick is the water pressure in the main bathroom would make a pretty loud noise when taking a shower, so if other guest were trying to sleep it could be an issue. It came and went and we were so tired we managed to sleep around it. Those two things are the only things I could "nitpick" at, and you really gave to search to find something negative about this place. It was great. Clean, plenty of top notch amenities, appliances, and cooking options. Hosts were nice and responsive if needed.

Christie's place was so cozy and peaceful. It was a beautiful location and everything you needed was available. We rented a boat and kept it right at the dock. The home was very clean, cute and comfortable for our family of four. We would definitely book again in the future!

We were visiting friends on Sand Lake and this place was perfect. We loved the big private yard with horseshoes and a fire pit. The cabin was quaint and very clean. We loved everything about our stay!

I was in town for a Class Reunion. I wanted to be close to the venue and downtown. Crow's Nest was the perfect spot to be. Close to the Lake and the stores. I would stay there again. Very quiet area and the house was perfect.

Great little spot with perfect back deck looking out onto the lake. Had all the amenities and games/kayaks you could want. Would definitely book again!

A scrumptious treat! The majestic sunrise lifting over tranquil waters lends refreshing perspective to life. If you like hustle and bustle maybe keep looking, but if you, like us, long for moments of beauty, calm, order, and the glory of creation, this is your place. Inside is clean, spacious, and well appointed. Everything was thought of from comfortable spaces to needed utensils, from games to internet, you will feel at home once you walk in. It looks well taken care of and freshly updated. The decor is wonderful, just the right amount of lake home theme to soothe your spirit, relax your soul, and make a memory. We love trying new places, but if we return to Oscoda we will look no further than Surfside #7. Thanks Ben and Lindsay for sharing your beautiful home!

This was our second time staying at Sean’s place, and it’s become our go-to choice when visiting the Tawas area. We absolutely love the setting of the house, as it offers so much peace and quiet. The house itself is always spotless, and it is so comfortable and cozy to stay in. Sean is a highly communicative host, and is available for anything a guest may need. We can’t say enough good things about our experience staying at Sean and Mary’s, and are looking forward to a return visit next year :)

Location, location, location The home is much larger than expected and the back deck/patio was just a lovely setting to have morning coffee or tea. New doors and new windows. Just a few stairs and you are on your own beach. We entertained family, not sure if I will do that again lol. It’s a wonderful vacation spot. There are very nice trails in front of the house maintained by Courtney’s Dad who lives next door. It was relaxing to get a dose of nature between beach time. He met us when we pulled up to give the lay of the land and answer any questions and couldn’t be any nicer. I can’t recommend enough. Perfect
