What a fun and unique place! The historic vibe gives just the right touch to a quaint town experience. Cute boutiques and restaurants within walking distance. Lola's on the Lake was perfect this time of year and the wineries in the area were absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again to enjoy with our family.

Wonderful! Perfect for 3 couples, each with own bathroom. Went to Chanhassen dinner theater (excellent!) This airbnb is within 10 minutes. Would certainly stay here again.

I used the cottage as a workplace while needing to be near the little town of Waconia. Imagine that this rental is incredible from spring through fall. Plenty to do around the area in winter as well. Bed is super comfortable. Will probably rent again for my next work assignment there.

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Jim and Lisa’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need—from extra towels and kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches like a welcome basket and local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting that made it easy to relax. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we got a great night’s sleep every night, and the outdoor space/balcony/view was a beautiful bonus! Communication with Jim and Lisa was seamless. They were always quick to respond, super friendly, and provided fantastic local tips that made our trip even better. If you’re considering booking this place—do it! You won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning our next visit!

We're so happy we found this private, quaint, carriage house. It was perfect for what we needed. We have stayed at quite a few Air BnB's in the US and Europe and we are picky when it comes to cleanliness and privacy and this place exceeded all of our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable, which to me is the most important part. My husband and I slept like a baby. This was a very peaceful, relaxing stay! The only thing to take note of are the stairs leading up to the apartment. They may be difficult for some who have trouble with stairs, other than that, this home is perfect! Goran is a wonderful and attentive host, the best we've ever had actually. He communicated with us a few times to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend Goran and this beautiful carriage house!! This will definitely be our "go-to" place every year when we are in town.

My friends and I booked Kinghorn cottage for a cozy cabin weekend and had a wonderful stay! The cottage was SO well appointed, from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the outdoor facilities and everything in between. Genuinely the most well-stocked Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The property was just beautiful, right on the lake with a gorgeous scenic window overlooking it where we spent most of our weekend cozied up on the comfortable sitting options. Everything was clean and well organized and we felt right at home. The check out instructions were completely reasonable and simple to accomplish. The binder Pattie provides on property was comprehensive and gave us great insight into the history of the property. It's clear there's a lot of love and care put into maintaining the property! Pattie herself was extremely easy to work with, helping us out with an early check-in and answering any questions we had in a timely fashion. We're already talking about our next visit!

EXCEPTIONALLY clean! Super easy check-in. Host were very responsive. Close to downtown Victoria. Just what we needed for our quick stop.

This place is a true gem. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs all over the world and this place is definitely a cut above. The place is tastefully designed, thoughtfully appointed, and beautifully decorated. The appliances are first-rate, the fireplace adds a delightful coziness, and the bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. We couldn’t have been more delighted, and wished we could have stayed longer just to enjoy the place. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The cafe downstairs is charming and has great breakfast food and coffee. We will be back on our next trip to the twin cities.
