A lovely cosy home that made us feel very welcome ......garden was lovely for my daughter on a sunny day and being able to put the cool air on was perfect. lots of thoughtful touches, would love to stay again. such an easy walk to the beautiful park and cafes

Very comfortable accommodation close to the town. Everything we needed although for some reason Wifi was difficult to get into. Maybe our age!! One of our group said her bed was the most comfortable bed she had slept in for years. Thank you very much

A great place to stay with a group of friends. Good location and lovely outdoor setting. Comfortable with a spacious common area. Bedrooms have big comfortable beds although not a lot of room for a suitcase. We enjoyed our weekend at Susan's place. Thanks very much

This place was exactly what we needed. With a group of adults it is difficult to find accommodation that houses many without being bunk beds! This place was homely, easy to be in and clean. Exactly what we needed before the Christmas season kicks off. Really appreciated the wonderful communication from Yvonne and having two fridges was amazing! 100% would stay again :)

Very kind thoughtful hosts who made us feel at home, particularly our dog ! Because we stayed over Christmas Fiona provided some extra treats and even some bubbles. The studio accommodation is spacious and comfortable, as is the Queen size bed. It was lovely to eat outside and also to know the dog was safe in the garden.

This is our 4th time staying with Cathy. There are a lot of nice places to stay on the Kapiti coast but we just keep coming back for the view! We tend to stay for more than a week and the functional kitchen and laundry plus the comfy king bed make this very comfortable for a longer stay. I love that you can access the bush straight over the back fence and then walk to the Hemi Matenga track. Cathy has always been very friendly and easy to work with.

Joanna’s Garden Retreat was exactly what we were looking for! A space designed for travelers on the move to have thee most comfortable wind down space between adventures. The serenity was more than we could ask for: reading our books among the birds, drawing a comfortable bath, and getting one of our best nights sleeps in such a cozy bed. Chatting with Joanna was so sweet and we are so thankful to have gotten the chance to stay here and explore a bit of Carterton at the same time. Tons of great places to eat in town and the neighboring town over, and in driving distance the chance to explore the cultures of the small towns that create the Wairarapa region.

The apartment, part of a lovely traditional weatherboard house,was very spacious, well equipped and nicely presented. The bed was comfortable, as was the rest of the furniture. Various streaming services, including Netflix and Amazon Prime, were provided. Jane had very kindly supplied multiple options for breakfast including cereals, eggs, bread, jam, honey, coffee and tea. We would highly recommend the apartment to potential guests.
