This little gem is a wonderful and peaceful getaway for couples! My fiance and I enjoyed the quiet and tranquility that Valerie's cabin had to offer. She was friendly, helpful, and responsive and puts great thought into the space. We stayed in late January and there was ample heat and fire options to stay warm. No concern there whatsoever. Bed was super comfortable, shower was excellent, and in total, the place does a great job providing modern touches while remaining true to its rural cabin roots. Would absolutely recommend and will return!

Mother daughter weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay. We slept well, loved the indoor fireplace, and the view! Too chilly to spend much time out on the deck but still felt like we were able to enjoy the great outdoors with the large windows. Plenty to do in the surrounding area.

From check in to check out, owner was responsive and great to work with. House was clean and orderly and a good size for our group. The bunk room was a little tight for 3 adults, but we knew that going in and so that was expected. We enjoyed having the games to play and the ability to watch sports and grill outdoors. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay here was lovely. The property was very clean with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and had a great time around the outdoor fire pit! The host was proactive and responsive in her communication and made the whole stay that much easier.

Really great place to stay! We had 4 adults and 7 teenagers and didn’t feel crowded. House is great, was clean, every room has an en suite bathroom, kitchen has everything you need. Our group really enjoyed being on the lake in the kayaks/canoes. Host is very quick at responding to questions and checking in. Highly recommend!

Laney’s home was a beautiful retreat with an awe inspiring scenic Oklahoma backdrop. The fenced in, large backyard was perfect for my family and I to relax in around the fire pit. The deck was a great place to drink a cup of coffee and soak in the amazing sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen served as a convenient homey place to make our holiday meal and was equipped with far more than plates, pans, and coffee mugs. It truly felt like a second home by the end of our stay. Having a full laundry room came in extra handy. Our host/co-host were responsive and flexible when it came to a change in plans when we ended up needing to extend our stay due to an unexpected funeral as well as when we locked ourselves out of the property in the wake of attending funeral and family functions in the community. The spacious property allowed the five of us to find personal privacy throughout our stay to give us time to rest and fellowship together through the holiday and our bereavement.

Business traveler here! Close to the highway for easy access. Very quiet & peaceful. So Clean and the bed was so good! Firm & thick, great pillows. Sheryl is so responsive & quick. The only thing I would share is the ice maker on the fridge doesn’t have ice. Being a big ice person, wish I would have noticed before I went into town but not a big deal, just an fyi!

Wonderful home with a large deck overlooking the lake. The kids loved making S’Mores over the firepit. Plenty of room and about 10 minutes or less to town if you forget something! Comfortable, clean and well stocked. My family and I can’t wait to go back! We also visited nearby Chickasaw (Platt) National Park and Magnetic Hill in Springer. Lots of fun.
