if you are looking for relaxation and private this is the perfect place. Carolyn and Randy were amazing hosts. the night time is perfect to be outside to enjoy the night sky. I couldn't ask for a better place to peace and quiet.

Absolutely perfect, cozy but spacious space. It was easy to find and we felt very welcome and comfortable, and we also appreciated the excellent communication from our hosts. Would definitely recommend this peaceful spot and hope to stay there again.

Autry’s place is quiet and private. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with a lovely wooded backyard that feels like you’re in a forest. Driving along Lee drive to get there is an experience in itself and highly recommended, although you can approach it from the other side too. It is a very clean and comfy place with lots of room. The shower is gorgeous! Just turn the lever a little to get the water as hot as you want. Looking forward to staying again soon!

This fabulous riverside cottage was the perfect spot for two families to enjoy a destination Thanksgiving. Having as many bathrooms as bedrooms is amazing, and we also loved having two different hangout spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed (even double ovens!), and we just can’t imagine a more peaceful getaway.

This place was a private oasis within easy distance to Ashland and Randolph-Mason College. The house has wonderful early 19th century architecture and charm with updated amenities such as internet and modern plumbing. The house is tucked away on a dirt road back behind a corn field. There are plenty of places for you and your 4-legged companions to roam. There is a quaint garden out back, a grill, and a fire pit for those who love the outdoors. Indoors boasts a library, living room, kitchen and dining room all furnished with pieces in keeping with the history of the home. Up the narrow, winding staircases (there are 2) are 4 bedrooms and a second bath with a claw foot tub. Some of the electrical outlets have yet to be updated but the owners have provided power strips equipped with adapters. While I have to admit this may not be an option for city dwellers, people with very small children, or those with handicaps, I loved it and felt right at home.

Had a great stay over the holidays while visiting family. Will be coming back next time we are in town. We were there for over a week a felt right at home. Rose and her husband were always quick to respond to any issues.

We had a great time at this beautiful BnB. We were traveling for a friend’s wedding and needed a place for the night. We had thought we would need to cancel because the AC unit broke the night before we were scheduled to get there. However, James reached out to us immediately to communicate this and was able to get everything fixed. We spent a nice peaceful night at the house. The house was very spacious and had plenty of blankets and towels. James was also very kind to leave a little welcome basket for us all which included snacks and drinks. The home is also not far from Kings Dominion so it would be a great stay for families looking for a fun weekend with their kids. We had everything we needed which made for a wonderful stay! Fully recommend you stay here, 5 stars!!!

We came here for a family wedding and this place was great for a few of us to stay. It was very clean, Krisna was super responsive. She even had heard that the coffee machine wasn’t heating properly so she had ordered a coffee maker to be delivered to the house as we arrived. It was a great place to rest between family activities. Thank you! I would definitely highly recommend!

What a charming home to stay in for our trip to Kings Dominion. A short commute to the park, affordable and perfect for a family. She made additional accommodations for my family and we are so grateful. We will come back again! Super quiet and comfortable neighborhood away from the busy towns. Great stay!
