Walk down the wooded valley right from the back door of this restored historic miner's cottage. Period features like flagstone floors and beamed, vaulted ceilings meet contemporary conveniences such as underfloor heating and a free-standing tub. A lovely spacious cottage with rustic Pembrokeshire character situated right next to the coast. Two double bedrooms, open plan living area, large kitchen and spacious veranda. The cottage is located close to Nolton Haven, Newgale, Little haven and druidston beach. All of which have pubs and restaurants to suit your needs. The cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a good sized master bedroom with amazing views and a kingsized bed. There is a second bedroom with a comfy double bed with an ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have adequate storage and hanging space for clothes. The main bathroom has a stand alone bath, which is great for relaxing. The cottage has an office room which could accommodate an extra guest on a sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and all necessary utensils. The open plan living room has a comfy sofa, a "42" flat screen TV, record player, books to browse through and a range of board games. The cottage has under floor heating, access to wifi, internet connection and use of a washing machine and dryer. Overlooking the flowery meadow is the south facing veranda which is perfect for watching the dramatic coastal sunsets. The cottage is situated by national trust woodland, so it is not uncommon to see birds of prey, foxes and the residential barn owl. Situated in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounded by National Trust land, Carren Bach cottage is part of the Southwood Estate. Spot all kinds of wildlife, surf, and discover numerous nearby villages, pubs, and restaurants. The cottage sleeps four but there is a sofa bed for an extra guest.

Lovely old cottage, great for a relaxing get away with family or friends. Ideal quiet location on the edge of Llansadwrn village with the local friendly pub within walking distance. With the Brecon Beacons on your doorstep there is plenty to do including lots of gardens, castles and mountains to visit. A car is ideal to get around although there is a local bus stop close to the house with a service bus travelling to llandeilo or Llandovery. The nearest railway station is Llangadog.

Had a lovely, peaceful stay in the cottage, which is remote and private, but well-placed for accessing the coast and local tourist attractions. Colin was very communicative with clear instructions, and there was a really helpful folder full of information about the cottage. We loved sitting outside at the rear of the cottage each morning with a coffee, watching all the wildlife, and seeing the stars in the evening! Great to see there are ongoing plans for improvement later this year too (not my secret to divulge! 🤐), so we'll definitely consider coming back in future!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, it was so lovely and cosy especially as the weather was so wet and windy. The cottage was well equipped with pretty much everything you need, felt very ‘home from home’. There was a cute sideboard in the living room with labelled drawers which I thought was so helpful, inside there was a first aid kit and leaflets of things to do and where to go, as well as books and games for rainy days. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was pristine, and stocked with lovely products and a nice powerful shower. Danielle really has thought of everything. We will definitely stay again should we find ourselves back in that part of the world again. 😊

The cottage was exactly as described and felt special and unique. We particularly liked the well equipped kitchen as we enjoy shopping at local farm shops and cooking at home. The cottage was cosy and warm. My partner loved the wood burner and thought it was very effective, it also added to the cosy atmosphere. Clean and fluffy towels and comfy seating and sleeping. So glad we found this place. The cake and wine was a lovely touch. West Wales is beautiful and this was a great location for the beaches, pretty villages and Wales coastal path. Loved it!

We have wanted to visit Pembrokeshire for sometime now and it did not disappoint. The location of the property was ideal for what we had planned and so very close to the coastal path with sensational views. The property was warm and cosy while being spacious and light, we enjoyed the birds in the garden and the views across the fields. The recommendations for eating out were exactly what we wanted and the local was cosy and welcoming. We were able to park and get in and out for our travels to St David's and Little Haven, amongst many other places. We wanted an escape from the old routine for a week and this little getaway was exactly what we wanted, it ticked all our boxes. Thanks so much and we hope to be back one day!

Worth every star. What a lovely place, we can’t wait to return. Friendly, helpful hosts, the location was spot on for us, it was quiet and peaceful and we could also walk down to Amroth front easily - about 20mins/35 with the 6 year-old! The cottage itself is very cosy and chocolate box , and Dave’s carpentry talents add a unique character and charm. It’s stocked with what we needed and with some extra little friends (Oaty and Tink) we had a blast 🩷🩷
