House has a great downtown location in a quiet neighborhood. House was pristine with all the basics you need for a stay. Roger provided great restaurant suggestions, so we didn't use the kitchen much! House felt spacious which made our stay even more relaxing. Look forward to a future stay!!!

This is an absolute steal. The space was clean and tidy with everything that you would need while being clutter free. The bed was very comfortable as were the linens. There are ample extra linens in case it gets too chilly. there is a heater in every room which is nice to custom heat spaces you may spend a lot of time in. I will be back to Elko and would love to stay here again. Jennifer is also great about communicating and is very flexible. I found out a week in advance I needed to arrive a day early. Fortunately it was not booked for that day so Jennifer was able to accommodate a very last minute plan change.

We enjoyed Jessica’s Airbnb. It was as described—clean and comfortable. We were traveling from CA to UT and just spent the night so we can’t comment on local attractions and restaurants, although we noticed a shopping area close by. Barbara was a fantastic host—very responsive, friendly and proactive. The check-in process was smooth, and the home had everything we needed. There is a fun playroom over the garage and our kids had a great time playing there. We felt at home and would stay here again if we are in the area. If you’re looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay, this is it!

The house is tucked in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful Mountain views. Easy check in. Well appointed and very clean. This was our second time staying here and we found the hosts very good at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We always feel comfortable at right at home!

Excellent stay at Chanica's while on a road trip. Extremely clean, updated and beautifully furnished, I couldn't have asked for more. Elko is a cute town as well, we had fun checking out the local Basque spots. I highly recommend Chanica as a host and her Airbnb. Will return in future trips next winter.

very nice, clean place. address doesn't come up in google maps so slightly tricky to find on first arrival. everything brand new inside. nice comfortable place.

Wow wow wow — what a great place! I was a bit worried about the dirt road but we came during the day and took it slow in our Kia Nero front wheel drive. It does take 40 min from the main road but it’s so dang beautiful it flys right by. The yurt was clean and peaceful. The animals and stars were just incredible. The kitchen and shower area were well stocked and the Porto was very clean. Things to keep in mind — this is essentially camping. You’ll need to manage things like water and electricity consumption, there was more than enough for us. Make sure you have everything you need for the evening as the drive back to town takes about an hour. Any wet weather would have made driving with our car very difficult, but with clear skies it wasn’t an issue. Print out and review directions ahead of time. Basically — treat this as the off grid adventure it’s advertised as and you’ll have a great time. Thank you Shannon, Rob, and Scout!

We loved our stay here. Check in couldn't have been easier. Got code from Amber at least a day ahead. Probably could have checked in earlier than the 3pm if we had wanted. Rental seemed better than description. Large yard. Plenty of parking with two entrances ( pull in one way and out the other). All appliances and dishes needed were on sight. Everything worked that we used. Amber responded to my few queries in ample time. If there were any drawbacks they had to do with MY lack of planning. It's a fifteen minute ride back to groceries, gas, restaurants. But, we wanted to be away. . . Last quarter mile to place was kind of a rough ride in my car, but navigable and is likely better at different times of year. Plenty of other locals in the area, but well removed from us . Quiet, peaceful. Good views. Dark nights for star gazing. If ever I have the occasion to return to Elko area I wouldn't hesitate to rent this again or other of Amber's properties.
