Wonderful getaway in gorgeous surroundings! We loved our three nights in late fall. We had a great view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympics, access to inspiring beaches, and a lovely cozy warm private place to stay. We enjoyed cooking up a feast in the kitchen, watching football on the TV, reading by the gas fireplace, and sleeping like logs in the quiet and calming environment. Fresh eggs and a chorus of sea lions each morning, beautiful stars at night. All around wonderful.

Very cute, perfect little place. Ample space and amenities. Loved how quiet it was even though it is the closest cabin to the main road, so quiet we could still hear the ocean roar. LOVE Port Renfrew and all the outdoors it has to offer. In the rain it might be even more beautiful.

Rosie's Studio exceeded our already high expectations from reading the online reviews. You get unlimited access to feeding the friendly goats; Bella, a super gentle and playful golden retriever who comes and goes as she pleases (and will tease you into playing fetch!); and a stunningly peaceful farm stay with incredible views all the way to Mt Baker. The studio itself was great - clean and with lots of character, including the large circular windows that provide an ideal foreground for photos of the view. We really appreciated the breakfast staples and treats that Trish left, as well as the art supplies. When you're not out exploring Salt Spring, this is a great place to just relax, and my wife used the art supplies to paint the landscape, adding it to the wall of art from prior guests. Location wise, it's about 20 minutes to Ganges by car. We enjoyed it, as it felt far enough away from everything to feel secluded, but everything was still convenient. Perfect stay!

Nikki and her hubby treat you like you are family as soon as you arrive. They personally walk you through the space to ensure you have what you need, and they are incredibly responsive. I was BLOWN AWAY by the breakfast delivery they provided on my first night, inclusive of a little bowl of treats for my dog, which I thought was very thoughtful. Their dog Gus got along with my pooch perfectly, and Nikki even offered to puppysit for me while I was working. If you want to feel like you're staying with your auntie, Nikki is the perfect host for you.

We loved our time at Laura's cottage. Laura was a great host, very responsive and helpful but also respectful of our privacy while there. We loved the cottage itself, and the large property was wonderful to explore with our dog. The sauna was a great bonus. We also loved the two main restaurants, brewery and parks on the island. The island itself was really special - the perfect weekend getaway from the busy city. We can't wait to come back!

J+A really do have the Perfect Meadow Cabin. The location was great, very peaceful and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were responsive and helpful, making sure our needs were met. Nila is super cute and friendly as well! Highly recommend. We would definitley stay here again in the future!

Beautiful, peaceful and private surroundings. If your like us and love camping but don’t want the hassle of a tent in the winter months then this is for you. All the amenities you could ever wish for. Great location for a weekend away! Wish we could have stayed longer but now know where to come when we need some R&R on the west coast :-)

We spent a week in Cameo’s space and absolutely loved it. Close enough to the city that it’s quick trip in, but far enough away that it’s quiet and you can see the stars at night. The cafe up the street - Mosi - is unreal, within walking distance and full of amazing treats. We highly recommend staying at this amazing spot, and we will definitely look to book again when we return to the island.

Wonderful little cabin on a quiet street in walking distance to the village center. The outdoor bathtub was a highlight, and the indoor soaker tub was a bonus treat too! Available bath robes pulled it all together. There was even bubble bath and epsom salts available! The outdoor area was so nicely put together and a great space to relax. Well landscaped yard that reminded me of a quaint English garden. There was a power outage while I was there and the host ensured I was warm and had lighting. Would stay again for sure!

Great host and very unique stay! The geo dome was really cool. Hot tub was piping hot.

Michelle’s tiny home is perfect, it’s just as Michelle describes and exactly as shown in the photos. It was perfect for two of us for two days. As others have mentioned, it is very close to the highway, but once inside with the door closed, the sound is very muffled. (One of us needed ear plugs, and one did not.) Definitely a great location if you are visiting Victoria, Butchart Gardens and travelling via the ferry at Swartz Bay. Thanks Michelle

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Francis and Luke’s forest cabin. The place was tidy and beautiful, with large windows looking out into the forest. The private sauna in the back is amazing and the perfect way to unwind. Luke and Francis were quick to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and even left us some goodies in the fridge. We would be happy to stay again and will recommend to others :)

My friend and I stayed here for just 1 night and my only wish is that we got to stay longer! The property is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals, the space was very clean and the amenities all felt really thoughtful and intentional. Check in and all other directions were clear, and the hosts were super easy to reach throughout the short visit. Our favourite part was the cabins proximity to the beach, being just a walk/ small hike from the cabin so we didn’t have to drive from the moment we checked in until check out the next day. I hope I get to return one day!!

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at in my lifetime. I’ve never had a more restful and serene holiday waking up to glorious views in beautiful vintage bedding. The decorating was so quaint and warm and the thoughtful amenities were special. The owner was kind and beautiful also. Love this place 💙.

Great peaceful spot to see Jordan River and surf some of the local spots, really helpful hosts too.

I had a nice overnight stay at Margaret's cottage. It was stocked with coffee and tea, as well as some fruit, granola, and toast for a light breakfast or snack. Margaret and her husband were very communicative while helping me getting settled in. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, great for an afternoon stroll. The neighbours were very friendly and welcoming as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this tiny home. Every detail is well thought out and meaningful. You can tell Dayna truly cares about the space and all who stay there. It was incredibly private and quiet and we especially loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked, bed was super comfortable, shower was amazing, everything was great. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved our stay! Was cozy clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub and fireplace were a joy for us. disappointed we never met mango the cat, probably cause of the rainy weather….hopefully next time:)

What a peaceful, relaxing stay! Jim and Diane were great hosts - super friendly, helpful, and kind. The island was lovely but our favourite part of the weekend was sharing a pot of coffee or bottle of wine outside with the baby deer and the sound of crickets. A perfect escape from the city. Could not recommend this cozy little cabin enough!

The place was incredible. Just a 5min walk from the grocery store, pizza place, farmers market and everything you need in Mayne. Right up the hill from the beach. He even came and greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. All-in-all a beautiful spot and we would book again!

My husband and I were truly blown away by Christine’s place! A perfect Airbnb for a couple looking to explore Victoria. The check in instructions were extremely clear, and the space was spotless! They had every amenity imaginable, bath care, towels/blankets linens/hair dryer with diffuser, utensils, you name it. Shower was EXCELLENT, washer and dryer worked perfectly. Air/temperature control was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly soft and clean+ the bedroom would get nice and dark. They also had a great fan if you like to sleep cold like us! The space was in a perfect location, wonderful running trails nearby, easy access to coffee shops/restaurants/pharmacies/etc. Very close to bus stations w excellent public transit. Also very easy to call and uber or Lyft if needed. Host was extremely courteous, answered all questions, provided great recs and was very kind. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit!

We had a wonderful stay, spending a few days relaxing, baking, cooking, and enjoying the hot tub. The place was very cozy, quiet, and overall just a beautiful spot—perfect for a winter getaway!!
