The Surf Shack is in a great location - walking distance to Hewletts surf break and with a stunning view across St Francis Bay. The house itself is spacious, well laid out and beautifully furnished in a simple style that makes it feel comfortable yet practical. There are all the necessary amenities and strong wifi that holds through load shedding. Courtney is a warm, gracious host who responds quickly to queries and challenges. A super space for a lovely break in a great part of the world.

We had chocolates placed out for us on arrival (which i loved). The house was clean and had all self catering equipments available. We enjoyed our stay. Due to the wind, we could not take out the trash.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was spacious enough for 11 people to socialise even though we had torrential rain and wind. We loved the fireplace!

Great accommodation, had an awesome weekend. Place spacious and clean, sufficient parking and locked gates. I would recommend to anyone.

Put it this way, we'd buy the spot if we could... Just as it is! Beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped home in a perfect location. Pizza oven was a bonus. Loved that there is a strong focus on eco-consciousness - from the cleaning products and amenities to the water and power supply. Looking forward to staying there again soon.

What a great place to holiday or travel for business, area is very well suited for multiple persons. Has a great atmosphere. Place is very neat, lots to do in the area. 2 minutes and you are on the beach which has amazing scenery. Our host Eduard was very welcoming and friendly. Thanks for the great stay! Would absolutely recommend this for anyone, it's well worth it.

My friends and I booked this place for a weekend, we have nothing to complain about, we where very happy with everything. We all fitted in our rooms since the was 14 of us. When we arrived at Doreens Thatch House for our first family holiday with our baby girl (8 months) we were welcomed with very kind and thoughtful fits and touches from Doreen. Thank you very much for opening your wonderful home to us, it really was a once in a lifetime family holiday as our family are scattered over the globe. We love St Francis Bay and Doreens home lived up to the hipe, it is just stunning. The layout is ideal for a family holiday with the rooms situated on the wings and the living areas in the centre of the home. We spent heaps of time on the deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We hope to be back and visit very soon, we loved making memories at Doreens Thatch House, Doreen was the best host we have ever had! Thank you very much for making our family very happy and connecting us all again!

Wild Pebbles is a beautiful place to stay and relax in JBay. The apartment is comfortable, feels like home and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Being able to pop downstairs for a swim in the pool was great. Walking into town and the beach was easy. The closest beach is nice to walk along, paddling and looking at the shells. Try Nina's Real Food for dinner.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in this spectacular house, what an amazing position with endless beautiful views. The house was so beautiful, and had fantastic facilities everything you could want for a trip away from home. We will definitely be back very soon!!

This is a home in itself, with so much care to detail. Beautiful, modern, artistic and peaceful! Best of all, pet friendly with a big garden. Alister is a super host, with lots of care towards his guests. He made sure to check in and was alway available for any questions. He even provided us with a digital guidebook, with surroundings, restaurants, and attractions. We had wonderful stay at will definitely return in the future. Thank you so much Alister!
