Beach house vacation rentals in Cape Cod

A minor communication glitch between host and cleaners meant two of the beds had not been made and probably a general cleaning between guests wasn't done. Fortunately the property was already very clean and the guests before me must have been, too. Everything else was in order. When I let the host know, she immediately contacted the cleaners while I went out for groceries. By the time I got back, the place was perfect and the cleaners were gone. I don't think this is a regular occurrence at all. In October this neighborhood was very quiet, which is a priority for me. And I felt very safe, which is also important. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

You won't find more responsive hosts - literally within minutes. Check-in and communication throughout was great. And it's the first rental I've ever seen that had REAL toilet paper! IYKYK! They were super clear about everything. The only small issue we had was with the AC. It's listed as Central AC, which it has but only on one floor. This wasn't a big deal because it was later in the season but if it was in the middle of the summer it would have been an issue. The first floor didn't get any of the AC and just cracking the door from the upstairs wasn't really sufficient to cool it down, even at night. Again, not a problem around Labor Day when we were there but in mid-July I don't think it would have been very comfortable to sleep there. But other than that, a great stay in a great location.

My party of 4 adults was completely satisfied with Nicola's property. The house is exactly as described, very cozy and comfortable. It's in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood minutes from the beach. We found the house to be well-outfitted with everything we needed. There was good sightseeing and dining options within a reasonable distance, even in off-season. Nicola was extremely helpful and responsive, although we needed nothing from her once we arrived. Highly recommended. We would stay at this property again.

Inviting coastal house with a beautiful location, walking distance to West Dennis beach. House exactly as described, plenty of room for our family of 6. Well stocked kitchen to cook in and grill outside. Lots of beach chairs and toys in shed. Bedding was super comfortable and cozy. Gorgeous yard in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking.

Deena could not have been a more responsive and accommodating host. The house was clean and welcoming. I enjoyed the short walk to the beach every morning. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do and see. We visited Nantucket, Provincetown and Martha’s Vineyard, but the house would also be perfect if you want to do nothing but enjoy the beach and relax.

This was such a relaxing place to stay. Jessica’s communication was quick and remarkably helpful — and she provided great recommendations and suggestions. The overall layout of the home affords room for privacy while also providing a comfortable communal space. The walkability of the location was much better than I expected, with closeby beaches, taverns, and restaurants. To be specific, 5 people stayed here — myself, wife, two kids, and an infant, for a stay around a month. And we never felt constrained (the back deck makes for a great workspace). Thanks again — would love to stay here in the future!

This airbnb is in a lovely location very close to the beach and the canal trail for biking and walking. On a dead end street, it is very peaceful. With its 5 bedrooms, it also has a lot of common space, both inside and out, for family and/or friends to mix and mingle at will.

We had the best time at the Lily Pad over looking the ocean. We were in a perfect location to spend some time in Plymouth and visit my son in South Boston (beautiful drive to Boston in the fall!). The condo is super clean, upgraded and beautiful with a great kitchen to cook and plenty of space to lounge. When we didn't cook ourselves there were several restaurants within walking distance. Best breakfast EVER across the street at Brant Rock Hop! Paddy was also super flexible with our last minute reservation and late checkout to accommodate our flight. It was an easy trip to Logan when we *had to* leave. Thanks for everything! We hope to be back soon!

Tommy was great. He was easy to contact and communicated wonderfully. The house was set up for a guest with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The furniture and beds were so comfortable as well as the welcoming feel. Plenty of spacious rooms. Even spaces you could have alone time. When they described the house on the ocean, it really is. This was by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Hope to rent it again next year. I can’t say enough on how comfortable the house is. This is a lovely home, on Clark's Cove peninsula, in "The Whaling City"! All amenities are included, & it's just steps away from the beach & historic Hazelwood Park! Also, the deck faces west, so there are magnificent sunsets every evening! We really enjoyed our stay here, & we're spreading the word amongst family & friends!

This house was perfect for a fall getaway weekend for my family. The owners have done a lovely job renovating--kitchen is gorgeous and seems brand new, the shower is the best I've had in any Airbnb, better than home! The beach was gorgeous, right out the door and we loved long walks with our dogs where we would see barely anyone else. Couches and chairs in the living room were very comfy and we had lovely cozy evenings playing games and watching TV. We will definitely be back!

The home is in a beautiful location! Beautiful views of the water, private beach, and within walking distance of the Cape Cod Canal. Calvin was very responsive and a great host. The home was clean and just like the pictures. We would stay there again! I highly recommend the home!

Jack's place was a great spring getaway for our family (2 adults + 2 kids and a grandpa). It is very nicely decorated, spacious and seconds from Kingsbury beach. Nice sea view from the upstairs lounge, the sunsets never disappoint! Unfortunately the weather was still too cold for enjoying the very nice garden at the back.

We had the most wonderful time! The walk to the beach was so easy and it was exactly the peaceful, relaxing trip we were looking for. Would definitely go again!

We absolutely loved Peter and Sally’s house, especially the front porch. We spent all of our time out there watching the world go by and taking in the beautiful view of the water. The house was clean and incredibly well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable and the living room was great for family movie nights. The little beach across the road was perfect for our quicker beach trips (we have an 11 month old). I was worried about noise from the road but traffic really dies down at night and we hardly noticed it during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay here again!

We loved the house — lots of space for us to stretch out. The beds were comfy and it was quiet sleeping. The hot tub was perfect. We enjoyed watching some of the March Madness games and playing cards at the large kitchen island. Really fun long weekend!

Alena's place had everything we needed for a lovely week on the Cape. Great pool and location between Mayflower and Dennis Village. My daughter loved the home's bright airy playroom and it kept us sane and entertained on a couple of rainy days. Would definitely visit again!

it is a nice comfy house esp for a family. Swimming pool and game room down in the basement would be alot of fun for kids to keep them busy at day time and night time. Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc are all right there esp. only like less than 5 to 15 minutes drive and also less than 25 minutes drive to go to north Falmouth or Wood Hole. They have a nice downtown with many stores, restaurants, bowling ally, etc which that is only less than 15 minutes drive from the house Also taking a walk from the house to the beach is so beautiful esp morning time. i walked every morning, and love every bit of the walk. It rained once during our vacation week and rest were sunny days for the rest of the week. We were lucky to have the good weather. Anyway, the house is approximately about less than a mile and half from the beach. Driving to Chetham is about little a hour drive from the house. To Provincetown, about 1 hour and 45 minutes drive.

We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay so much! The neighborhood is adorable for walking and our little one loved the playground right down the road. The house is so quiet yet so close to downtown and beaches. Will definitely be back!

There should be more than 5 stars for this lovely property and its hosts!!! We were three couples vacationing for the first time on the Cape and this charming home was perfect for us. Conveniently located to serve as home base for many excursions we felt immediately at home. We each had our own themed bedroom with en suite bathroom and TV. All common areas including the sun porch and outdoor deck were fantastic places to gather and enjoy our time together. Our hosts were so pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. As only one example, on a rainy day the host proactively contacted us wth suggestions on things to do in the event of rain on the Cape. We so appreciated this thoughtful gesture and there were many more. When I think about it, this really sums up why we had such a wonderful time. Everything about this property speaks to how much these hosts care about their guests! Hope to return one day. Thank you!

The Hyannis condo was literally steps from the pool, and across a small parking lot from a beautiful private beach! Alex patiently answered my questions and concerns that I brought to his attention. The condo was well equipped with beach gear, floats, and toys. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was absolutely the break that we needed.

The home was well lit and very roomy- upstairs bedrooms were comfortable and had an accessible deck overlooking the bay. Downstairs had a large comfortable living room, large well equipped kitchen with large table and there were indoor and outdoor porches with great views and a firepit. There were nice garden areas and plenty of room for games, study, space, etc. The downstairs master bedroom was grand. The swimming pool was great- electric cover and very comfortable. The other areas of the home were large, accommodating, and well appointed. The house is well separated from other homes. 5 minute drive to nearest bike path/dunes and 12 minute drive to P-Town and a few more minutes to the superb bike path near the point-Province lands. I would rate this property as a 100 out of 100- zero negatives and surplus of positives.
