Vacation rentals with lake access in Cape Breton Regional Municipality

I stayed here with my parents, brothers and partners. We were a full house but there was more than enough space! The hosts really go above and beyond with making sure you have everything you need and the home has so many super cute and thoughtful details. The views of the water out front are so gorgeous. Everything was close by as well - Sidney was just over a ten minute drive away and the start of Cabot trail around 30 mins. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful spot in Cape Breton! Ann’s place is lovely, and the location directly on the Bras D’or Lakes is spectacular- even in winter during our stay. The house itself is well thought out and very well stocked with everything you need for a great stay. Thank you Ann!

We had a fabulous stay at Tammy's home and were very reluctant to leave. It was extremely comfortable and very stylish. We enjoyed sitting on the deck into late evening watching the sun set over the lake. Definitely a place to return if we ever revisit Cape Breton and can highly recommend.

This was the 2nd year we picked Carol Anns place as the base for a 2 week work trip for our party of 3. Each bedroom was nicely furnished and the kitchen has quality appliances and all the kitchen gadgets and equipment you would likely use in a one to two week stay. There is a washer and dryer with supplies. New from our stay last year is full screening for the front porch which was done at a professional level so a very nice spot to sit and look out at the bay.

Elsie’s place is the wonderful slice of Nova Scotian heaven i needed for the perfect 2 day get away . The place was absolutely beautiful , warm , cozy . Lots of privacy , perfect wifi . All amenities were close and we were tucked away nicely for a beautiful private experience . Waking up every morning to the beautiful water views was absolutely breath taking 10/10. Very easy woman to communicate with , very kind and flexible !

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

Picturesque, peaceful, and private. Fairly secluded. A lovely spot for a restful weekend away. The host is very responsive, helpful, and extremely easy to get along with. Would stay at Susy & Che’s again.

This is a very welcoming cottage in an absolutely beautiful location right on Bras d'or Lake. Went swimming off the yard, fall colors on the trees, well equipped but not overbusy kitchen, comfortable bed, peaceful interiors... We were here four nights for the Celtic Colors festival and had a wonderful time. By the way, Baddeck is very central, making this a great location to take in concerts from Cheticamp to Sydney, and close to the Gaelic College for the late-night pub concerts. Hope to be back!

From the time we entered the cottage I was impressed So very clean and organized Bedrooms so welcoming and comfy The view was amazing and we so enjoyed being there They went above and beyond and even got us a cooking pot for Lobster and mussels so we could cook outside

Beautiful home with a lovely winter view while sipping tea and watching the sunset. It was amazing! The pool was Warm, the linens were Snow White & the place was spotless. Zero complaints & we will definitely be returning!

Lauretta’s place is a lovely cottage. We needed a place to stay that was quiet but central and this did the job. Very close to Sydney if you need it but also close to Baddeck and beautiful scenic routes. The cottage is cozy and well stocked. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very lovely place. Light and airy. We enjoyed having the lower level for our bikes. Comfy bed. Walkable to waterfront and restaurants. We’d stay here again!

Arriving to the location Eva made checking into our cabin smooth and easy with a self checkin, once getting inside everything was super clean and had the cozy quaint charm we were looking for. Being in the winter it felt like staying in a winter wonderland with snow covered trees tucked away in the woods and a wood stove to keep us toasty (plus other heating sources). The water is only a short walk away and I would highly recommend taking a walk to catch some nice views from the property!
