Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cape Breton Island

We had a wonderful stay and Sharon was a wonderful host! Her accommodations had everything that we needed to be comfortable. It was clean, quiet and had all the amenities that we looking for plus a lovely view of the water that could be enjoyed while eating breakfast. Sharon was very accommodating, caring, courteous and responsive host. We would definitely consider staying at Sharon's accommodation again the next time we're out that way!

Great location, close to the Cabot trail. Always responsive! Weather was horrible for our weekend but the house was safe, cozy and comfortable. Wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back in the peek seaon

The cottage was perfectly cozy and lovely in every way. It was in the perfect location for us to explore the Cabot Trail and all of its offerings. The host was friendly and very responsive. We would definitely return again.

Hosts responded extremely fast, clear with everything i would need to know, and very friendly. The property was perfect, one of the best I've stayed in. They also offered a late checkout for our vacation. A first. Definitely recommend, and will use any time i travel home

Such a beautiful, peaceful place! Felt right at home Loved the lit up walk way to the beach at night and the sauna. Our family will definitely be back. Nice touch with games etc available as well. Lori made the whole process a breeze!

Ashley & her husband make you feel right at home sharing their family homestead. The home is so charming! Ashley has decorated beautifully and paid so much attention to detail, your stay will be amazing. Myself and the group of girls with me enjoyed every moment of our stay, visiting the farm, falling in love with the goats and of course her spectacular hot tub with fencing and peaceful tree line in behind the house. Ashley is amazing to connect with, answered all of our questions and made us feel at home ❤️ You will not regret being her guest!

We loved Jacynthe's well appointed and cozy cabin. It was spotless with comfy seating and nice view of the woods surrounding it. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking in the area. Thanks for hosting us and our australian sheppard.

We loved Robbie’s place! It was exactly as described. Yes, there is definitely noises to be heard from upstairs during the day, but you are clearly renting a basement unit and that is to be expected. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Beautiful location (literally 3 minutes to the Cliffs golf course)! The loft was spotlessly clean and had every single amenity anyone might ever want while staying there. Bobby was extremely responsive and was flexible when we wanted to check in early to get ready for our evening golf round. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Cape Breton!

My husband, daughter and I went up to Cape Breton from Halifax to enjoy the fall colours and also catch a few of the Celtic Colourrs concert during Thanks Giving weekend. Although the weather was really miserable on the drive, we were happy to be greated by Rene on our arrival. The appartment is very nice decorated, well equipped and clean. The hot tub was a bonus to be enjoyed even with a slight drizzle on both nights that we stayed there. Rene and Jim were fast to respond to our questions throughout our stay and afterwards. The views on the lake are great and if it had been a bit warmer, we would have gladly taken them out. Rene and Jim have a really cute garden with fresh produce. We used the lettuce and herbs to make a salad and cook a meal. I would recommend their place to others

We enjoyed our visit in Big Bras D'Or. With your own transport you easily get to many attractions in Cape Breton like the Miners museum in Glace Bay, Alexander Graham Bell museum in Baddeck, the Cabot Trail, and Celtic Colours Festival events. The accomodations were excellent and the hosts very friendly

We enjoyed our stay very much. Super clean and comfortable for 2, easy access to nearby hikes and a well appointed kitchen made this the perfect place for us. Beautiful setting and very responsive and proactive hosts - would definitely recommend.

This home is beautiful! It’s spacious and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen modern and pristine. Nancy was kind and attentive and answered all of my questions promptly and clearly. I would absolutely recommend this place! Hope to return.

If I could give this cottage more than 5 stars, I would! The surroundings were even more beautiful than the photos. The water, the trees, the firepit...amazing! The cabin also had everything you could possibly need and felt very comfortable and cozy. It was close to the park and lots of hikes. Local recommendations were also very helpful. I can't say enough good things about Sylvia and Jennifer's place, go if you can.

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful, quiet spot on Bras D’or, we spent a lot of time just looking out over the water (it was cold out there, mind you). The cottage is charming and attractively furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Storage space is minimal, but lots of hangers for clothing. The washer and dryer were a real asset. We enjoyed our stay.

James' place is such a hidden gem. We stayed while completing tons of waterfall hikes in the area. The cabin was clean & had all the amenities you would ever need. James offered early check in & we can't wait to return to explore more.
