Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cape Breton Island

We had a wonderful stay and Sharon was a wonderful host! Her accommodations had everything that we needed to be comfortable. It was clean, quiet and had all the amenities that we looking for plus a lovely view of the water that could be enjoyed while eating breakfast. Sharon was very accommodating, caring, courteous and responsive host. We would definitely consider staying at Sharon's accommodation again the next time we're out that way!

Great location, close to the Cabot trail. Always responsive! Weather was horrible for our weekend but the house was safe, cozy and comfortable. Wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back in the peek seaon

We just wanted to thank David for the perfect winter escape at Kaye's Cottage! Communication was great and he let us know he was there if we needed anything during some windy weather. Despite Mother Nature flirting with us one day, we were able to take advantage of excellent conditions and skiing at Cape Smokey after a fresh snowfall! The location is ideal and close to everything. The cottage is well stocked and is even nicer in person! Highly recommended this cozy cottage! We hope to be back to enjoy it in the summer!!

This place has a BEAUTIFUL view. Great spot to watch the stars or see the sunset. Very peaceful area. Inside was beautiful, cozy & warm. Was a great spot to spend a few days!

I travel to Sydney for work and this will be my new go-to spot. I would love to live here. The place is absolutely beautiful - very modern, yet simply chic. Brandon communicates so well and was incredibly accommodating.

What a beautiful spot! Lovely natural light and a cozy living room with the wood stove. The sauna was a perfect way to relax and the essential oil diffuser made the bedroom feel like a spa. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

I rented the farmhouse for my mom, sister, and nephews to stay in over the holidays. Ashley was a fantastic host. There was a Christmas tree, a hot chocolate bar for the kids, and holiday treats for us to enjoy. Not to mention fresh eggs in the fridge and honey from her bees. She even left Christmas colouring pages with the kids in mind. A very thoughtful host! The house has everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the space was so clean and tidy. Lots of space for our family. We also enjoyed the hot tub! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area!

Robbie’s apartment was just what I needed, a quaint very clean little place. I would definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

Beautiful location (literally 3 minutes to the Cliffs golf course)! The loft was spotlessly clean and had every single amenity anyone might ever want while staying there. Bobby was extremely responsive and was flexible when we wanted to check in early to get ready for our evening golf round. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Cape Breton!

We enjoyed our visit in Big Bras D'Or. With your own transport you easily get to many attractions in Cape Breton like the Miners museum in Glace Bay, Alexander Graham Bell museum in Baddeck, the Cabot Trail, and Celtic Colours Festival events. The accomodations were excellent and the hosts very friendly

We enjoyed our stay very much. Super clean and comfortable for 2, easy access to nearby hikes and a well appointed kitchen made this the perfect place for us. Beautiful setting and very responsive and proactive hosts - would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend this stay if you are seeking peaceful nature and a relaxing stay. Eagle flights and sunset sights. Don’t wait to book it, you will not regret it!

This unit was centrally located within the town and on the water side. The view for the bedroom looks over the water which was beautiful even in the winter. The rental unit was well equipped and every detail was thoughtful for guests . Would stay here again in a heartbeat !

If I could give this cottage more than 5 stars, I would! The surroundings were even more beautiful than the photos. The water, the trees, the firepit...amazing! The cabin also had everything you could possibly need and felt very comfortable and cozy. It was close to the park and lots of hikes. Local recommendations were also very helpful. I can't say enough good things about Sylvia and Jennifer's place, go if you can.

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful, quiet spot on Bras D’or, we spent a lot of time just looking out over the water (it was cold out there, mind you). The cottage is charming and attractively furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Storage space is minimal, but lots of hangers for clothing. The washer and dryer were a real asset. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful, amazing cabin, it was spotless! The inside was so beautiful, bed was comfy. The loft was super cute and so cozy. The peace and quiet was so needed for my husband and me. Loved the ladder going up to the loft, found it so easy to use. Bathroom was super clean and shower was great! Would highly recommend this place and we hope to come back ourselves someday. We only wish we had longer to stay at it. Thanks for sharing., Cathy & Jon

Super cool spot! Close to the ski hill and a short drive to Sydney. Sarah was a great host, very quick to respond and very flexible with check-in. We will 100% stay here again.

This is truly a beautiful place! Christian was very responsive. The cabin and views are spectacular ! The beds were so comfortable as well. One of the best weekends we had in a long time!
