I was in the shared group room of the youth hostel. Everything was as described, also a microwave, kettle and fridge were available in the hallway of the hotel to use. The bunk beds each have a dimmable night light and an outlet (1* Swiss plug (type12), 2* USB A exit) and there is a curtain for some privacy with each bed. For each guest of the group room, there is a box for valuables in the room itself, which can be locked with the room card and cannot be opened by the other guests of the same room. Entrance to the castle museum is included for the time of the stay. It is a very exciting museum also with modern and changing exhibitions. Unfortunately, it was only open on the day of arrival, which is why I want to come again and take more time. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also very nice. Actually, it would have to be ordered at least one day before the trip, but exceptionally it was still spontaneous.

Staff was very helpful. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us and kept it safe until we could check in, allowing us to go around to our excursions, stress/hassel free! The kitchen was also very clean and accessible and the views from the patio are astounding :)

Stayed for a night, great hospitality by receptionists, personally had a not so pleasant experience because roomates had left opened food in room, making it stinky, plus the power outlet could not hold my charger without it falling. But I would not say those are things related to the hostel itself but rather to the hostel experience in general. Breakfast is very nice though

It’s a home turned into a hostel. We booked the room with the private bathroom so we had no issues. It was easy to get into, quiet, clean. There is a kitchen where you can store your food and eat if you need it. The room was big enough for four adults to stay in and the beds were comfy. Would stay again.

We loved our stay here! The staff was friendly and the unique accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Note that if you stay at this spot, the walk up to the castle is quite steep. In the future, we would likely arrive by car rather than public transit because the last block of walking is exhausting, especially with bags.

Booked this place for one night during a ski trip in Grindelwald. Parking was easy, easy to find the place and check in, and the receptionist gave a great restaurant recommendation nearby. Was clean, good facilities, had continental breakfast. Great for one night. There were 4 of us so had our own room and it wasn’t super busy when we went so pretty quiet, could hear the people talking in the room next to us pretty clearly when they did check in, but they respected the 10pm quiet hours. Seemed expensive for a hostel but relative to everything else in the area it was cheap so worth it for sure!

Location Great Easy to get to West or Ostna Visitor tickets in advance? (Bus Ticket) You can take them at the station Walking distance if you have less luggage The accommodation was a quadruple room, but in the picture, there were two bunk beds on the wall. There are two bunk beds attached to the middle, so it's a small space even if you don't use it. I used it narrower It's expensive, but if you think about the price of the nearby accommodation, it's also affordable. The common space, especially the cooking space, was so good that throughout my stay It was so good to cook and eat

A great stay at the hostel, nice room and view. Comfy beds! Great lockers and fridge per room in the kitchen, which was well equipped. Online check in system was bugging slightly, and would be more convenient to have additional bathrooms to use, since 7 people sharing one bathroom and shower delays the arrival to the slopes. Thankyou!

very nice rooms, tastefully decorated despite the simplicity. Very nice kitchen area. Skis and shoe in the hallway is something new. No ski boot dryer, yet dry the next day, probably because of underfloor heating. Great APP with an electronic key and lots of tips.

For me, it is a great location when we visited Interlaken. Friendly and nice host. Just be careful with the bus to the center as it just goes there every hour.
