Had a great stay at Hideaway Bay for the weekend! Such a lovely place with 180 degree views of the water and a large entertaining area upstairs. Was great getting out on the paddle boards at the beach too. Will definitely be coming back! Thank You!

Wow first off what a place , our host Lucy is a absolute legend and was so accomodating for us and our two boats , never have I stayed at a place that worked so well with the boats , water views awesome living space was just unreal could not recommend this place and Lucy enough I’ll be back counting down the days

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at Hideaway Bay. Shirley was an excellent host—responsive, helpful with recommendations, and attentive making sure we were ok during a period of heavy storms. The views here are breathtaking, even better than the listing photos suggest. There are plenty of great local restaurants, and Dingo Beach was a highlight. We also had fun joining the locals for barefoot bowls at the Hideaway Bowls Club. The location is quite remote so it’s worth planning ahead for food and drinks. One small downside is that the BBQ shown in the pictures has been replaced with a large gas-fired hot plate. However, the house itself was very comfortable, with three spacious bedrooms, plenty of linens, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beach, just a five-minute walk downhill, was full of marine life, we spotted stingrays, turtles, and even some baby sharks in the rock pools. Back at the house we were even greeted by a few Wallabies Overall a fantastic stay from start to end

Our family really enjoyed staying at Chrissy’s. It was exactly what we were looking for. A very easy walk to the beach and close to everything we needed, but also quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Hideaway Bay was fabulous ! We were there to attend a wedding. The home was clean, the view was beautiful. Robyn was very helpful and accommodating when we had to drop a night off our booking. Communication was great. Would definitely stay again

This house was absolutely perfect! Great location atop a small hill, walkable to main street, lagoon, restaurants and bars. Well appointed, it comfortably fit 6 adults with a large rumpus room downstairs for gathering, if the large deck and views just got too much! Stunning vista. Too hot - take a dip in the pool! Highly recommend and will be back here again!

Easily the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in with the best hosts during our three week trip. It was spotless upon arrival and really well equipped with tea, coffee, milk, snacks, shower things, dishwasher tablets etc. They really thought of everything. You can tell it’s managed directly by the owners due to the personal touches. They also provided full sized bath towels which sounds silly but makes a difference. Simon and Nat were always on hand to provide information about the area and local tips. Many tour pick up points are located next door or it’s a short walk down the hill to the bus stop on the main street. The hill is steep but only a short walk so it didn’t feel too bad, and the aircon was on when we arrived. One of our favourite things about the property was the view from the terrace over the harbour. It’s beautiful! It was windy during our stay but the pool was cleaned twice, so it was clear of leaves and debris. Thank you for a great stay and we hope to be back in the future!

Peter and Carolyn’s property is a perfect place for a couple to base themselves when visiting the area. I traveled with my daughter and our 10 month old toy poodle and it was perfect. The pool and fully fenced backyard was well used. Very thoughtful inclusions and extremely comfortable. Peter and Carolyn were great hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Bella’s place! It was clean, homely, comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay We made use of the pool and enjoyed mornings on the balcony with its spectacular views of Airlie beach The bed was extremely comfortable and the room at the front was very quiet Bella was very quick to respond and very accommodating Overall an easy and relaxing stay We didn’t want to leave Coastal Vista Thx Bella 🩷

Our stay at Louise’s lovely house was nothing short of amazing. Louise kindly allowed us to bring our dogs on our vacation which was perfect for our boys, full fenced and plenty of shade, and we felt comfortable enough to leave them if we wanted to adventure off without them. The house was equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen which made it feel just like home. Our favourite thing about the stay was of course the outstanding verandah, with uninterrupted views. We appreciated the easy check in and meeting the kind care takers of the property. Also a quick mention of the pool, nice and private! Thanks Louise, definitely will recommend this property to our friends!

First time visiting Hideaway Bay and this house was the perfect place to experience everything it has to offer and allow yourself to switch off and just relax. This place is the true definition of a beach house as soon as you open the door. We found ourselves spending family time on the deck overlooking the beach or swimming in the pool if we weren’t strolling on the beach. Our host Robyn was responsive and has a high attention to detail. We are missing the place already and hope to visit again if we make the trip up north.

We loved our stay here! It was a very rainy weekend but the view was still amazing, even better in person. The driveway is how everyone has mentioned but once you are in and out a couple of times it was more manageable. I was worried at how kid friendly the house was going to be as my 8m old has just started crawling but he had an absolute ball cruising around looking at all the books and art on the walls. We also had a 4m old with our group and I can happily say it is 100% kid friendly. We still enjoyed the pool in the wet weather and the bath in the ensuite felt like you were staying at your own retreat. Lisa was so welcoming and kept in touch during our stay. I’d definitely stay again but not in the wet season and probably bring our fur babies next time and hopefully enjoy the fire pit and pool house.
