Vacation rentals with a pool in Canadian Lakes

Andrew’s cottage was an amazing stay for a group of friends looking to getaway for a weekend. There were lots of amenities and the area was absolutely incredible. I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this cottage and about Andrew as a host. Thank you for the memories!

Cheryl’s home was great for our family with young grandchildren. The sand provided hours of building and pretending fun. The sandy beach and shallow water depth was perfect for all the children from 2-8. They really loved jumping off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boats gave us time on the water. The large level grassy backyard was excellent for softball and tag. The bunk room was great for the grandkids to sleep together, leaving 4 bedrooms for adults. There was a pack n Play and a high chair for the youngest. There were many toys and games to play. The house hade cute decore with special touches to welcome us everywhere. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The leather sectional was cozy for all of us. We also loved the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We would like to have had more beach seating. The last two plastic Adirondack chairs were fatally cracked. I’m sure those are on Cheryl’s list to replace soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us Cheryl.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible cabin, and it exceeded all of my expectations! The moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful decoration and the charming antiques that give the place such a warm and unique character. Every corner seemed to have a story to tell. The beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The views from the cabin were absolutely breathtaking. Me and my friends were literally debating to decide who was going to sleep in the bed by the window with the lake view. The scenery of that place is something special. We made great use of the grill and spent time lounging by the pool, which was the perfect way to relax. Dave was incredibly hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines comfort, style, and a touch of nostalgia, this cabin is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

Melissa was super responsive. This home was the perfect place for our active family and bc it had very few stairs we were able to bring my 87 y.o. Mom along for the trip! We rented their boat, borrowed golf clubs, golf cart, volleyball, marshmallow sticks etc. They had everything! Even an outdoor shower - so fun!

Pros: Little Star Lake is beautiful, serene, and so quiet! The cottage is clean and feels newly updated, kitchen is very well equipped. Huge propane grill, propane campfire, traditional wood fire pit on beach with cooking surface, Keurig (BYO k cups, none provided) all are cool amenities I didn’t know from the listing. Also, a very nice water cooler is provided bc the well water has a metallic taste. The pontoon (runs with solar powered battery) is so fun for kids to jump off in the middle of the lake. Such a great set up for young kids. Several beach towels are provided, which helps with no dryer available. Cons: The host takes a long time to respond to communication. We had asked for pool heat more than 2 weeks in advance. 5 days prior to our stay she finally responded with the assurance that there would be pool heat. When we arrived, there was no pool heat, and we had to deal with some devastated kids. The host did allow us free use of kayaks to make up for no heat.

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. The location was great and having a private beach area was amazing. The lack was a bit mucky right by the dock. We took advantage of the amenities the resort offered.
