The house is beautiful, spacious and well located, because it only takes 10 minutes to get to the beach by car. However, the road that leads to the house is a little noisy, you can hear the cars driving there. The bathrooms are very hygienic and clean, as are the majority of the house. There is equipment for the charcoal grill which is very cool and the kitchen is big enough to cook together. Communication with the hosts is very good, we always got help very quickly when we had a problem or question. Lavagna is a beautiful, small place where you can walk well through the streets and beautiful other towns, such as Portofino are not far away. Also, the dining area outside is covered, so you can sit in the shade despite the sun. All in all, the stay was worth it, the only thing that could be improved is the dishwasher, which does not wash properly, but of course you can also wash the dishes by hand

Worthy of a main residence, breathtaking views of Rapallo and the sea, easy to park 2 big cars, nice outdoor furniture; Very secure villa. Lots of kitchen equipment and dishes. Very large living room. Two things to improve: the bedding in the bedrooms upstairs and the electrical power a little low ( it's dijunct ) We will rent this property again if we return to the area.

Angelo was there to meet us when we arrived. One minor issue with the refrigerator and he was right there to remedy the situation. Beautiful views….so relaxing sitting out side in the garden enjoying the Mediterranean Sea. The week we were there it was unusually hot…but Angelo has fans in every room which made it comfortable. Also returning from a hot day at the beach or touring the beautiful town we had a large clean and refreshing pool steps from our door. The kitchen is small but we made it work….there is a window facing the outside area…we used it for serving…it worked beautifully. We are a family of six. As someone mentioned the basement bedroom would be difficult to use…. We enjoyed our stay immensely Angelo!

Our holiday was great. The house is a dream! The property is very large and therefore great for a larger group. The communication with Luciano was great and straightforward. 🌞

The house is in a very nice location (great view!) and within walking distance. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Even in winter it is warm enough thanks to heating, but the heating is noisy. Some things are outdated, for example, some windows and doors are difficult to open/close. Two bedrooms are a little dark because it's located in the basement. The house is also big enough for a group of ten people. The hosts were very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful stay in such a beautiful setting. The villa is beautiful - the hand painted tiles particularly are stunning. It is traditional and well equipped. The view is what you are staying for and that was incredible! We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace, eating our dinner and watching the world go by. I personally stayed in the back room where the train tracks are and I know some of the reviews mention this as an issue. I really found it absolutely fine, I had brought ear plugs which I wore (which I do normally) and it really didn't bother me. I actually quite enjoyed hearing the trains. I would say a car is needed for the villa, which we had. It would be fairly difficult to navigate without and it is approximately 250 steps up to the main road. Laura was amazing! So attentive and even got us some lovely treats as we were getting a late flight to Milan and then a long drive. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The beautiful view of the sea and the immersive natural surroundings made it a perfect getaway. The house offered near complete privacy, and our kids loved the pool. The location is excellent, with great proximity to Rapallo, Santa Margarita, and Portofino. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house with everything you need for a stay with family. Comfortable, clean, quiet and with a very nice view. The only downside is the very narrow and steep access and a small key exercise but otherwise everything was great. Thanks Gabriele

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Incredible views of the water and bay! The house has a genuine charm and plenty of space and privacy. The kids loved the pool! Elisabetta is a remarkable host with a wealth of knowledge about the area! Super responsive and a great communicator. The house is fully equipped with all you need throughout your stay. We all loved the “L'Antico Frantoio”.

This house is a wonderful getaway with unbelievable views of the town and Mediterranean Sea below. It’s surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees. You can hear the highway below so if you need total silence be aware. The drive up to the house is nerve wracking if you are not used to small mountain roads and the driveway is very steep, so be aware of that as well. Our group of 8 adults and 1 baby had a wonderful relaxing time and Lavagna is a cute beach town with restaurants and ice cream. Such an amazing place to stay!

This is a magnificent and spacious villa where we felt very at home. It has all the comforts needed and the swimming pool in the beautiful garden is a big plus. Recco is such a great location with lovely people, good restaurants and many things to do. We liked that it was not overcrowded with tourists and had a great local feel. Paolo is a fantastic and responsive host who was available throughout our stay. He was very helpful in guiding us with advice and assisting with restaurant reservations, booking excursions and anything else we needed. We wish we had more time here and would therefore definitely want to return.

This villa is absolutely beautiful and served our group well. The terrace area is absolutely stunning and a real sun trap - we didn’t want to leave! It is about a 30 minute walk into town (which we didn’t mind but worth bearing in mind there are no amenities a short walking distance away, so you would need a car to go to the shops!). The garage is very small so I would say to only take one car!

Gianmarco and Martha - have created a true gem of a summer getaway and are the perfect hosts. Only reason for not giving them a perfect score would be to have it all for ourselves :-)

A great place to rest. My wife and I were with 2 kids and a dog. When we arrived, we received a lot of information about local attractions, restaurants, how to explore Cinque Terre and Portofino. Davide made you feel great from the start of your stay. You feel like someone makes you feel good here. The house as in the photos fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and air conditioning in the rooms upstairs. Clean and homey. Replacement of towels and linens after a week. A pool with a wonderful view. Tomatoes and basil from the garden are great. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and rest. I recommend it to everyone and thank the host for this stay. We already want to go back.

The apartment is very beautiful with amazing views! Pros: -stunning views and surroundings -exceptional host -clean and felt just like home Cons: -there are some bugs (since it is in an elevated neighborhood )

We stayed in the relaxing house for 5 days and it was a beautiful experience. The house is just as pictured, cared for in every detail and stocked like an inhabited house, nothing is missing. The pool is very useful as well as the outdoor shower with hot water. The garden is very large and fenced for the joy of our dog. There's no shortage of deck chairs, armchairs, and hammocks. The mosquito nets in every room are very much appreciated. Daniele and Emanuela welcomed us amicably, showing us the house and giving us tips about the area and on the farms where we ate very well! Very responsive to any of our requests. The neighbors are also very nice and really helpful. We had a great time, recommended to explore the valley but also simply to relax!! The road to get there is definitely narrow and winding but not busy so it is not a problem. In short, a more than positive balance! Thanks again for everything

Great host ! Amazing location

What a beautiful place! This house has a soul! Tastefully furnished with antiques and great to find coffee, tea, spices. It has everything you need. It’s a pity we were on the way home and only stayed for a night. I would love to come back when it’s warm and be able to sit on the terrace that overlooks the town and the bay.

Great stay and lovely host. Villa was lovely and all exactly as described. Will be staying again.
