I am originally from Brownsville, this home is located in the middle of everything we had planned for our trip. Spi is about 35 min . Mall / restaurants / barbershop. Everything is pretty much down the street. We were in town for a funeral this time . The home is very relaxing and comfortable outfitted with everything other than a grill. We did have issue with the door code and some other concerns which were handled immediately. Highly recommended. Check out time is at 10am/ listing says it can accommodate 10 people. So if you plan to have people over just add them at the beginning so there is no issue . With contract *** there is a church about 4 houses down and music is very Loud outside and inside of the home . All that being said it is a beautiful home with a lot of space .

Great private location with security entrance, had everything we needed, beach towels, and after traveling, the laundry detergent & basket came in handy. Just enough space for a comfortable stay. Hope to return. Thank you, Ramiro!

Great place away from civilization , caught a lot of catfish and one really big one! Turtle as well as a small gator.

This is a great place to stay! I really liked that each of the 3 bedrooms had its own bathroom! The host was also really nice and responsive.

Such a peaceful and lovely place. Stayed here for a week with my wife and mom-in-law, and most of our time was spent on the back deck, in the comfy living room, or cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. It's about 30 minutes to the beach - an easy drive - but with the waterfront in the back yard, we went much less frequently than anticipated. Aside from the occasional dog bark or chicken crow, we didn't hear a thing from any neighbors. It was so peaceful! And the house is very well set up, with tons of thoughtful touches like an arcade machine (Ms. Pac Man and Galaga!), a pile of games and puzzles, a record player with vintage vinyl, and even a delightful little area where a dog can be penned in close to the family. Erica was super helpful and responsive all week, we didn't want for anything. One thing to note - the kitchen cabinets are very high, so if you are shorter than 5'6", be prepared to step on a stool to reach for a glass or plate. Highest recommendation!!

Great Location, about a Block to a Great Beach access point. 2 good restaurants next door. Everything, including photos on AIRNB are accurate. Plenty of space. Only negative was the 18 steps to the second floor, which may be a challenge to the handicap. Overall, Great stay!!

We loved the cozy atmosphere, the layout is nice and the bathroom where very clean, great neighborhood. We where close to shops and restaurants. Take your fishing poles and enjoy the afternoon wetting a line. Try Senor Donkey restaurant on the Island.

Very cute and clean place. The photos don’t do it justice. Beds are much larger in person. Enjoyed myself and will definitely stay again!

Luis was very attentive and responsive. He’s a great host. The condo was exactly as expected and we had a wonderful family vacation.

Antonio is a great host! He was very quick with responding to any questions and concerns we had. The place was beautiful and we felt safe and parking was not bad at all. The view from the balcony in the morning was nice to watch boats pass by. Would recommend staying here!

We were in the valley for a birding trip, so the Green Jay cottage was a perfect place for us. Upon arrival we immediately saw a buff bellied hummingbird cruising the grounds. We also really enjoyed the feeders and nature trails through the property to the lake access/dock. It’s very private and peaceful and there is no one else on the property. The cottage is small but a good size for a small group. We thought it was very clean and well kept and had many nice touches. Will definitely stay there again if we’re in the area!

Our family really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. A stress free experience, highly recommend!

Communication: From the get go , Ruth and Fernando were proactive and explained everything in great detail. They never made me feel as if I was a bother contacting them. Both were helpful , kind , and couldn’t have asked for a better hosts . Location: It is minutes from South Padre Island and a bunch of restaurants. Within a 10 minute drive is HEB, WalMart, more restaurants. The house is located across the street from a park. If you have kids there is plenty to do. Two pools and other amenities. Home: it has everything you need . I feel the only thing I needed was clothes. It’s comforting, clean and beautiful inside. Every bed was super comfortable. Waterfront is nice, we tried fishing but didn't catch anything, got a few bites though. Plan on staying there again. Excellent Hosts.

This is a great place to relax, read a book, or feed the fish! The place was very clean and spacious. Check in was a breeze. Definitely coming back!

The home is super clean and cozy. All furnishings, linens, beds, bathrooms, kitchen utensils were fresh and seemed new. You can literally fish and kayak off the back deck. Strong WiFi if you need to get work done, a nice smart tv for rainy days, and a great place to watch a launch is just a few steps from the front door. To top it off the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. It was a great stay and we will be back.

I highly recommend this place! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and we had plenty of space. The pool was amazing and we loved the privacy. We used all the outdoor amenities like bbq pit, shower and covered patio. It is in a great location, lots to do. Our host Renato was great! He was very attentive and friendly and communicated with us the whole trip to insure our family getaway was very memorable. We will definitely be renting from him again!
