The pictures do not do this place justice. It was even more breathtaking in person. My family and I had a great time. The hosts were very responsive. The sunrise and sunsets were nothing short of magical. Thank you Eric and Melanie for a great stay. We will be back!

Great place! Beautiful view of the bay. everything clean and fresh. Was decorated seasonally for Christmas, doing above and beyond to make it like home. Hot Tub was nice amenity. Would probably be even nicer to stay during warmer weather. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed relaxing with jigsaw puzzles inside and a warm fire in the fire pit out back. would definitely stay again.

Patrick's place was very cute and beautiful. Right by the water with enough space and privacy to enjoy a family weekend trip. The view of the water was beautiful, wish we could have come when it was warmer so we could enjoy the kayaks and the water more. Thank you!

This was our annual book club weekend and we had such a wonderful time. We spent cozy evenings by the fire. Enjoyed recommended places to visit and eat. I loved having my morning coffee on the dock and watching the sun come up. Thank you for sharing your home with our book club of 14 years!

We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

Our family had a great stay! The house was exactly as listed. Our only disappointment was that it was so cold we couldn’t take advantage of the great backyard kitchen and patio! The house was clean and Jacqueline was super helpful and responsive! We would stay again.

The views at the house from every room were amazing and we had a great time using all the amenities including the ping pong table and the hot tub. The host was super responsive whenever we had questions, and we’ll definitely book the house again if we’re in the area.

We spent three relaxing ,pleasant and peaceful days in this house. The on-site experience was unforgettable. It is suitable for large groups. The interior is beautifully decorated with enough space, the kitchen has complete cooking utensils. It was too cold to get into the pool, but, we enjoyed the hot tub. We fished ,caught crabs , and abundant oysters by the dock,kayaked on the water, and enjoyed the beauty of nature。The sunrise by the house,sunset at the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge are amazing. Lindy’s seafood market near by has very good price for crabs. Thank you Kristin and your beautiful house, we will come back again.

The location was amazing with the pool and the waterfront. The grandkids loved fishing and swimming. Couple observations: The lawn service came when we were there but only mowed the lawn and did not mow around the pool. No edging or weeding was done in the landscaping Pool service came when we were there and was great Garbage pick up came and pulled all the way down the driveway which was great Bathrooms could use some love. Oven could also use some love I would recommend taking bottle water and ice if you have a large group. We made a few runs to the General Store and Safeway. All in all we would give it 5 stars. The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely, large house! The charm and character of the property immediately made us feel at home. The house is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was truly a highlight. It provides a stunning panoramic view of the lake, making it the perfect spot to unwind. We especially loved spending an evening around the firepit, making s’mores, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The combination of natural beauty and thoughtful outdoor features made our stay even more memorable. Whether we were relaxing indoors or soaking in the breathtaking outdoor views, this house exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful time over the Thanksgiving weekend. The condo was just as described, and even more impressive than the photos show. Lots of nice little touches, including a welcome basket with wine and snacks. The view of the beach and river from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunrise. Although it’s a quiet time of year there, we still found plenty to do. We ate in most meals, but did have a delicious lunch at the Sunflower Cafe, and the guys visited the brewery next door. There’s a delightful Art Gallery just across from the parking lot. We’d love to come back sometime when the weather’s warmer and enjoy Colonial Beach in full swing. Our host was very responsive to any questions. All in all, a great place for a winter holiday celebration. Thank you Brittany!

Views for miles! The location couldn't be better and the host was always responsive and helpful. This unit sits right on the potomac river and morning sunrises were my favorite part of my day. Walk to many restaurants and entertainment

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

What a lovely place, its charming and super cozy. Despite the age of the house, everything works very well, we loved the platform 9 3/4 harry potter themed downstairs toilet. We enjoyed the hot tub, host is very responsive, her local guidebook is very helpful. Lots of games if you have free time. Kitchen has everything we need to make 2 dinners. The location is very quiet, sunrise is a must see, and is just right there. Close to everything, restaurants, local sightseeings.

Had the best Thanksgiving with a few family members here. Used the hot tub everyday with the perfect view of the lake. Great place-clean, roomy, and great beds :) Thanks!

My husband, dog, and I spent a long weekend at this house to celebrate my birthday. The views are stunning, making it a perfect place to relax, recharge, and take in the beauty of the water. The beach is just a few minutes away (head down the hill and take a left at the stop sign). It’s a private beach, and you’ll need a code to unlock the gate, but once inside, you’ll find soft sand and calm waters—perfect for families. At seven months pregnant, I found the environment incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Michael was quick to respond and very helpful, and the house exceeded our expectations—even better than the pictures! Since we love cooking, we were thrilled with the variety of appliances and kitchen tools. The sunroom was our favorite spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning with our baby next time! Thank you very much, Michael!

This was SUCH a beautiful property. The house, the lot, the dock, the water, the sun rises and sun sets—absolutely perfect for a relaxing girls’ trip. I will absolutely be back with other friends and with my family.

We absolutely love staying at this Airbnb! It’s perfect for our family and we use it every time we’re in town. The location is walkable to several great restaurants and boutiques. Beautiful views from the Front Porch, Gazebo, Master Bedroom and even the kitchen window and guest bedroom. The entire home is fully stocked with everything you need. Laurence has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We look forward to continue making beautiful family memories in this home.

Tom and Nancy are great hosts and were extremely responsive to all our needs. Everything was exceptionally organized and well-marked, and we felt right at home! The sunrise over the bay was our favorite part of the trip. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing place! One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve been to. I brought my family here for thanksgiving and was able to prepare a thanksgiving meal with the kitchen and appliances provided. The place was beautiful - overlooking a lake. I feel like this where you can write the next best American novel. We were able to use wonderful amenities such as the hot tub overlooking the lake and were able to do some kayaking. I would love to come back!
