The location was great with so many good places to eat and drink within a short walk. Felt right at home in Trisia's place.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

Lovely place, right in downtown Houghton. Well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds. Motion detector nightlights for middle of the night bathroom visits. Blinking lights on bedroom smoke detectors might disturb some (didn't penetrate my closed eyes). Would definitely stay again.

This was a great location for a Michigan Tech visit. The apartment is a little tricky to find, but with a little time, we figured it out. Gorgeous apartment and well-thought-out amenities.

Easy to find and access. Comfortable furnishings. As the host mentions, there is no dining table. Unused electrical receptacles are scarce, but that's common for an older building.

A very cute place close to MTU. We appreciated the coffee pods and bottled water stocked for us. We would love to stay here again.

Overall the space as nice and clean and a great value. The bathroom was modern and clean and well stocked. We did not use the kitchenette, but it was also very clean with what appeared to be new appliances. It's a unique space - read the reviews, it is a refurbished school building with the apartments being old classrooms (the chalkboards still adorn the walls). For the best Halloween season experience, arrive at night - the building is poorly lit and you enter through a back staircase that reminds one of a boiler room from countless scary movies. Then through a lightless cafeteria cloaked in shadows and dark corners. Now none of this is bad, in fact it adds a lot of character to the space. If you're looking for a bit of adventure in a fun space, this is a great choice! The host's instructions were very clear and accurate, we had no problems finding the place or navigating to the room. All in all, would definitely stay again when in the area.

I could go on and on and on about this experience but I only have 1000 characters! Let me start with the place - the cottage was modern, charming, warm and in a great location. Everything in it was top notch - linens, bedding and especially the kitchen contents. Copper Harbor is a special place. If you hike, mountain bike or paddle you will be in heaven. Everything in The town is walkable. Just so charming! Jenny was an exceptional host. The care and consideration she gave us was over the top - in the best way! She was so excited to give us hiking, kayaking, shopping and eating recommendations. And I understand why - everything we did based on her suggestions was amazing! This was truly a memorable experience and we will definitely be checking in with Jenny again!

The Lake House did not disappoint! Pictures DO NOT present the space… First: when you walk in, the air is clean and welcoming. Second: the rooms are spacious, peaceful and beyond comfortable. Third: I’ve stayed at many AirBNB and can attest that Joni’s place is the cleanest space I have ever stayed. Honorable mention: the views over the Portage are second to none! Morning views - amazing; afternoon views - fantastic; Evening views - beautiful; Starlight views - phenomenal! Stay here!!!

We had an excellent time and absolutely loved our stay! Such a cozy vibe in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood tucked away in the forested North. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Beautiful home away from home! Had all the essentials and more, very welcoming! Enjoyed the natural options and healthy snacks! We took a family snowmobile trip while staying there and the trails were only a half a mile away. Was nice for the aditional aleeping arrangemnets above the garage. Enjoyed the hot tub as well!

Larry and Lori’s place offered a great night rest before our trip to IRNP. It was about 7 mins from the ferry. Three of us fit comfortably with room to spare. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. Sauna was as a nice plus. Greatly recommend!

Place was comfortable and well organized, private and had all necessary amenities for a good stay away from home.

I highly recommend this property. The home is much more spacious than the photos suggest. It is hard to capture the charm in photos. Very comfortable. While it is a pet friendly place, it is so well cleaned and maintained - you would not know it hap pets previously. Put this on your bucket list!
