Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Caltagirone

Andrea & Daria were great hosts. Our Italian is fairly poor, so it was great to have hosts with great English skills to tell us about the area, their farm, talk about Sicily, help enjoy our time in the region and book us into great restaurants (Andrea even helped us deal with an unfortunate dodgy credit card drama involving a rental car company). Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. For us the stay was not really about the accommodation as such (which was great), rather it was that we had great experiences sharing. Andrea had a pizza night and involved us in the experience (great to see the oven and kitchen in action). Andrea is a true B&B host, seems to love sharing, talking and helping guests. I think that is the key to what makes B&B Vinciucci so great. Plus breakfast was pretty awesome as well :)

Giorgio is a very friendly host and his home is well located close to several restaurants and very pleasant. I recommend L’Oasis.

B&B in a building in the central area of Catania, on foot you can reach all the areas of interest in the city in addition to any type of place you are looking for. Kind welcome, the rooms are nice, clean and tidy. Breakfast is paid separately and consumed outside the structure (we did not use it); however, inside the room there is a small refrigerator with water and everything you need to prepare hot drinks. Massimo has provided us with many useful directions to the city and where to dine. The property offers, upon request and for a fee, the possibility of parking in the beautiful internal courtyard of the building, a really remarkable advantage given the difficulty of finding parking in the city. If I had the chance, I would definitely come back.

Giovanni and Maria's place is very well located at the foot of Etna. The host is a good tip for excursions on the volcano. The bedroom and private bathroom are as described. The exteriors are very nice! Recommended

Very well maintained property, located at an altitude of 720 m above the sea but easily accessible. Despite the presence of Etna ash on the road. You have to drive with caution. Moussa was very kind and gave us the good services. The village of Milo contains pastry shop, bar and restaurants to recommend. A good base for excursions to Etna, Taormina and the Alcanthara Gorge.

Alessandro was at the door waiting for us. Extremely nice and awesome B&B. For Sicily, it was a charm to find Alessandro's B&B. Parking across the street. Very safe. Our room was so cute, recently redone with much taste. Bed was super comfortable and all was really clean. 50 meters from the beach and 50 meters to the square. By the beach, you have a really nice boardwalk that brings you to the Porto Touristico. Great restaurant Mercado de Porto. Lots of restaurants at the port. You want to go to the square in the late afternoon for a glass of wine and do some people watching. Last but not least, the breakfast. Awesome breakfast. The lady was so nice and she could not have fed us better food. Alessandro made certain to come in at breakfast and chat with us. Discovering Marina di Ragusa is a treat in itself. Staying at B&B e blu made it altogether a pleasant time for us. I highly recommend Alessandro's place.

Beautiful apartment in a great location! Everything is walking distance and there is free parking on the street. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive. The breakfast was definitely a highlight!! The only thing was that the bedroom is facing the street, which there is quite a lot of traffic but this wasn’t an issue for us.

The location is great ! We have enjoyed our stay here.

Florinda, our host was very helpful and friendly from our first contact to our departure. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The house was spotless and we enjoyed the pool too. Connivence store and supermarket is just 5 min walk and cafes too. We would definitely stay here again.

Gina as host is very nice, accurate and friendly. The room was pretty clean, no noise and the bed is very comfortable.

We stayed two nights at Angelo's place to explore Etna. Angelo was very nice and friendly. He gave us tips for exploring the Etna and also gave other helpful tips for the area. The place was in great condition. I would come back anytime.

I highly recommend this B&B. Great property, clean, tidy and comfortable. Comfortable room, with air conditioning, very comfortable bed. Beautiful frescoed rooftops. Very close to downtown, easily reachable on foot in a few minutes on foot. Also close to the metro and shuttle stop from the airport. Sergio is a very helpful and friendly host.

This place radiates peace and calm, being surrounded by olive trees and a magnificent view. The hosts were super friendly, gave good local suggestions and told us about the history of the area. We also tasted the fruits from the garden for breakfast. Speaking Italian (or Sicilian) is useful for having a good conversation with the host and at other places in the area. It is necessary to have a car to get here and get around.

Clean, newly furnished rooms in a one-story building. On foot, you can reach the beautiful beach of Lido di Noto in about 5 minutes. By car, you can reach the really magnificent beaches of the Riserva Naturale di Vendicari nature reserve (take an umbrella!). You first drive along dusty gravel roads to the respective parking lot (with a parking fee), pay for entrance to the nature park (3 euros/day) and then walk via a footpath (15-20 min approx.) to the respective beach with wonderful azure blue water. You can also see the baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ragusa, etc. Antonino gives very good tips. Every morning the Italian breakfast is brought (buffet), very good with cake, bread, jams and fruit. You eat outside. Antonino's family also runs the organic Agriturismo Torre di Vendicari directly on the nature reserve, with several rooms, swimming pool, many animals and a good trattoria (noon and evening).

Clean apartment in a great location in the cozy center of Nicolosi. Great base to visit Mount Etna (20 min drive). Ruben gives useful tips and we also got a voucher for a free lunch at the cable car. Super! Opposite the apartment is a park, which was convenient because we are traveling with a dog. Parking in the street is free.

The Room is really nice, with a big bed and multiple Options for storage. The bathroom is beautiful and again enough storage Room. The shared Kitchen is spacious and all the necessary Equipment is there for cooking. There is the Garden which is ideal for drinking a Coffee or eating Outside. The Appartment is quiet Close to the Metro and Bus Stations to get to the Centre. And there are multiple Options to buy groceries near to the House. You only need 10 Minutes by foot to get to the little Port where you can also swim or lay Out in the sun. Piero and His Family are super nice and helpful, the communication is very easy! I can only recommend this place! :)

I'm so glad I found Antonietta's place. A home away from home, Antonietta is a brilliant host who made me feel very comfortable. She took her time to show me beautiful places in the local area and share breakfast, coffee and good tips for Catania, which I am very grateful for. She is very kind and helpful, a real bonus is the cute cats and dog, Chef. I recommend to anyone who wants a cosy stay in Catania.

Even though we only stayed for one night, our experience was absolutely wonderful. The Airbnb is situated right above Mauro’s home and is equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a coffee maker and fridge. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful terrace and a pool with a stunning view. We also really enjoyed the company of the dogs – they were all so sweet and friendly, and for dog lovers, it’s a big bonus!
