Family-friendly vacation rentals in Caledonia County

Place was awesome with lots of activities to do and enjoy with family and friends he was responsive in communication and was a great host with property being managed well. The kids zipline activity need to be safe by putting some safety cushion as add on and the boating was great so fun with animals and the boat setup is superb for pictures. So much place to do activities and fun. Would love to revisit the place again.

The apartment was great! So much space, lovely walkable location, and clean and easy to enjoy. Would definitely stay again!!

Very private accommodations and so beautiful! The hot tub was very relaxing in the snow storm! It snowed a lot but the neighbor Alex came the next day and plowed. Annique was great to communicate with and very responsive with any issues. This home was very unique and well priced. I would highly recommend to any wanting to rent this home and I would definitely rent again!

We had the most magnificent view of Willoughby Notch. Carl needs to showcase that more. The place was very comfortable, and Carl was easily reachable if we had any questions.

Amazing place. Perfect personal touches, with grinder coffee, bread, jam and infinite amounts of tea.

I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful and peaceful it was! The gardens were so pretty and the sounds of the creek were so peaceful. It’s off the beaten path but in the best way, and was still very easy to find despite being down from gravel roads. The beds were more comfortable than the average Airbnb for sure, I struggled a bit with the pillows but I’m a very picky pillow person so not a knock against anyone (and still better than the average Airbnb again). The kitchen was super well stocked too!

The stay was amazing and Susan and Jeff are great hosts - they even helped us swiftly figure out an issue with our car on the first night. The loft was clean, in a peaceful area that was really beautiful on a snowy winter weekend. Highly recommend this stay and the hot tub was also a nice bonus :)

Evangeline was a wonderful host! Absolutely beautiful and homey cabin, it felt like we were visiting a friend’s home. The views and property were absolutely stunning and the hot tub, grill and fire pit were so enjoyable after a day of exploring St J. Thank you for hosting our family, we had a wonderful and peaceful weekend ❤️

We had a wonderful stay, first time staying somewhere with our dog and it went really well. The cabin was comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy ourselves. Libby was very helpful!

Keita's home was beautiful! right next to the river and very peaceful. The space was cozy and perfect for a getaway.

Second time staying at this property as it is truly incredible. We love the lake and trails and general privacy experienced at the camp. Cabins are well appointed and comfortable. This is a good escape destination as WiFi is not reliable. Additionally power and water went out for almost a full day which is common for the area but I would recommend this property add a generator for these situations at its premium price point. All that said certainly recommend and will be back to this gem!

We had a wonderful time in Burke. The scenery is fantastic, the house is as confortable, perfect for a family of 5. The house is well equipped and the host was responsive, flexible and supporting. We will be back in the summer.

We Stayed at James and Nella's place for the second year in a row. It is a cozy old farmhouse with a spectacular view. We are Nordic skiers and this was 15 minutes from Craftsbury outdoor center. James and Nella are great hosts. We found them to be very responsive.

Beautiful, cozy, and well stocked cabin with the most amazing lake view. Kim and Rich were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

We loved our stay at The Lodge. Anne and Brian are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make sure that all the things needed to make the stay comfortable are available. They went above and beyond when we were delayed due to weather. The den/kitchen area is spacious and full of windows. Everything is arranged to be comfortable and easy and just lovely. The bedroom has plenty of room and the bed and linens are among the most comfortable I have had at an Airbnb. Our 17 year old son stayed on the bed from the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. We had trouble getting him up, he was so cozy. The area is absolutely lovely and we were fortunate enough to see it with the most beautiful snow. We walked to the pizza place and had dinner. So nice to have the countryside quiet and also food so close by. It really is a special place.

Everything was great! Sue was very easy to communicate with and everything was as described!

We loved our stay at Joan’s place. It was cozy, comfortable, and in a great location. Joan and Bill were super friendly and helpful.

Our third stay at the Galusha Hill Cabin was an absolute dream. The cabin was (as always) top notch: so well cared for, thoughtfully provisioned, breathtakingly picturesque. What a special place. Dallas was attentive to our every need. We can't wait to visit again.

I have been renting this place for a few weeks now and it has been a great spot, will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, beautiful area, and delicious breakfast!

Even more beautiful than in the photos. We were a group of 10 (6 adults, 4 18 year olds). We hiked the trails around the property (very pretty) and did a couple of local hikes as well. Spent part of a day at the shops in Littleton. Kristin is a friendly, responsive and generous host. We had a glitch with our reservation—my error—and she worked to accommodate us and all worked out well. As others have suggested, there is plenty of space for sleeping even though there aren’t a lot of actual bedrooms. The privacy screens work well, and there is so much room that it was not an issue. Highly recommend!

If you are dreaming of a cabin in the Vermont woods in winter, it's time to make a reservation! This cozy cabin for 2 fulfills a peaceful get-away in winter especially for cross-country skiers. Ample warmth, cabin charm, clean and neat living spaces, and cross-country ski trail that is part of the Craftsbury Outdoor Center is steps from your front door! Comfy bed with memory foam topper. The driveway was plowed very well after an overnight snowstorm, no problem getting out. Kathy was very responsive to my questions.

The house is in very good condition, well-kept, and all the amenities one could need. The location was easy to access. And Paul was a very accommodating host.
