The entire home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay to receive the new year . The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Josh and Vianca were exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing everything  we needed to feel at home which made the trip even better. The decorations, the deck, the kids section, lake, mountain, and location really made it feel like home away from home. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place with a great host, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again!

The host was so easy to work with and my schedule had shifted and she was open to the change of days (even suggested it), which made the experience all the easier. The house is close to the downtown area, pretty easily walkable if you are there during the summer, and the street has always been quiet.

We had a lovely stay at Krista & Gilles's house on Water Street. It was a great spot to bring our families together for a weekend getaway with enough room for everyone. The house is close by to all restaurants, shops & attractions and everything is in walking distance with a lovely water view. Thank you for hosting us.

Everything about this place is wonderful. The cabin is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need (including all you need to prepare and enjoy a lobster dinner). We cooked quite a bit while we were here and really appreciated that we could find everything that we have in our own home! One of the best things about this place is the location - remote, quiet, away from the touristic area, surrounded by trees and water. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee and taking in the incredible view! The fire pit next to the water was also a big hit with the kids. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Maine.

We were a group of 3 couples. We spent one night as we were in town for an event. We walked to the event as Dan’s place is very close to all down town amenities - great restaurants and shops. The place was very nice, clean, comfortable, and we all agreed it would be fun to come back when we had more time to enjoy the backyard.

Had a very relaxing time and was pleased with the location which allowed us to visit both Saint Andrews and Saint Stephen within 15 minutes. The cabin is very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Good selection of DVD movies.

We had a great stay in Addison! Home was spacious and lovely outdoor space. We loved picking up lobster & crabs from Caler Cove - learned tons from the super friendly boss!

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

considering we were in the off season im sure, the price one pays for a room that is old and small & run down at the Rossmount, we'd rather pay for a whole "apartment" for the same price. This place was so quaint. It's one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed no wonder they won best airbnb in 2023. We'd stay there again

Hilary’s lake Retreat is the perfect place ! We have stayed here three summers in a row and love it . Tom and Patty are excellent hosts and we can’t say enough good about it !

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! I can’t recommend this spot enough as the location, though not right downtown, is only a couple blocks away and is very walkable to the local restaurants and shops. The carriage house itself is beautifully renovated and has everything you need, including a nice outside area if the weather is nice. Jackie was very responsive and got back to me when I had questions within minutes. Why anyone would stay in a hotel when this gem is an option baffles me. Highly recommend!

A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

THIS IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT Airbnb As a decade long airbnb user, this was how it used to be! Hosts like Aaron and Angela who clearly LOVE hosting and all the special amenities that make you feel very welcome. As all other reviewers have said, the little touches are so sweet and bountiful. My teen son and I had such a good time on the last night of our trip making popcorn, watching reality TV on the huge screen, making coffee and eating cookies from the coffee bar-all the great amenities. I also enjoyed a nighttime fire and beach walk. This place is great and the hosts superb. I was choosing between two places and splurged a little more to stay here and it was well worth it!

We loved our stay at Melissa’s cabin. It’s cozy and has a lot of nice features like a wood burning fireplace (bring kindling or fire starter with you as it is not provided). It snowed on the night we arrived. We initially contemplated whether to get into the hot tub but we made up our mind and it was the best experience ever! We loved it so much that we used the hot tub the next morning as well, and the view with snow all around us was just mesmerizing.

Loved our stay at the cabin! The home was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has the most beautiful scenery to wake up to (we also were able to see the Northern Lights at night!) and while the bathroom is small, it was carefully thought through and functional. It is a bit of a drive to Acadia National Park and dining options, but we didn’t mind it with the lovely fall scenery along the way. The host was very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again.

Abby's Hideaway is a beautiful little cabin on Bog Lake. It's private and quiet. I arrived after dark and , no trouble finding the Hideaway. Every little thing is thought of: extra toiletries, chocolate candy treats, sweet card welcoming me to their home.... I was enchanted and will come back again! Thank you, Abby, for sharing your little piece of paradise with me and Jack Shadow.

The cabins were just as described! We enjoyed the rustic nature. Our host really thought of all of the ‘extras’ for living off the grid! The cabin was clean and well organized to make cooking and cleanup easy! Thank you!

Chad responded quickly to a few questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during iur stay! The place is very private and has a great view of the water and surrounding woods. We never noticed the one neighbor on the other side of the trees and it was just a great place to get away from everything! Beds were comfortable and shower was great! Kitchen and A/C were nice and the big TV was nice to have when we settled in for the night. This is a very cool place to escape to and enjoy peace and quiet.

Absolutely beautiful views!! Quiet and very peaceful!! Amenities were not to far away, roughly 20 minutes. All the best coast spots were a leisurely hour drive. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway-Campobello is a low key, quiet place-not a lot of eateries, but I know the area and didn’t expect that. Fabulous setting, deck with views, seals, eagles, tides. Read 3 books in 6 days! Fully equipped cottage/kitchen. No wifi but that's fine too. Loads of dvds to watch on a nice big screen…
