Fabulous cottage. A real home from home & fully equipped kitchen. Lots of character, was initially worried about the stairs (spiral), mastered them after a few times. Great hosts & attention to detail.

We had a wonderful weekend at Thomas's place. The house is pristine and so well equipped - from the comfortable beds to the relaxing garden. Thomas has obviously spent time an consideration thinking about what his guests might need. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all round! Thomas was courteous and friendly in his messages, we had no issues, but I am sure if we did he would sort it! The house is conveniently located - everything within walking distance - shops, pubs, restaurants, the castle and train station. A perfect base for visiting Wales! We will definitely book again.
A bedroom featuring deep blue walls and a spacious bed dressed in a dark blue comforter. A desk and chair provide a dedicated workspace, while a window allows natural light to fill the room. A small nightstand is positioned beside the bed.

Semi Rural 3 Bed, loads of space

BethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place! Our first time using an Airbnb in the UK. 12 people and 2 dogs stayed. We used it as a base to get all together and had activities planned for one of the days. The kitchen had all we needed to heat up our meals we had prepared in advance. We stayed with toddlers so brought our own reusable plastic plates and cups to avoid any breakages. The garden was great for the dogs and all six kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the garden too. The games room was wonderful for the bigger kids and grown ups too and space for the toddlers to play with the chunky Legos we brought along. (we put the snooker balls out of reach while the toddlers were about.) Lovely place to stay.

Ty Nofio, 2 bedroom Swimming Pool, suit 2/7people

StaceyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely, quirky space with very friendly hosts, staff and animals! We have loved our time there and helping out on the farm with egg collecting and feeding the animals. My 5 year old learnt so much about the animals and all on the farm were so kind to him with his millions of questions. Swimming pool was ideal and we spent every evening in there (which was very much needed after a long climb up Pen-y-Fan!) Very peaceful and relaxing stay - we didn't want to leave!

Forestry Cottage, Hot Tub, Gym, below Pen y fan

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

I stayed here with 7 others for a chilled, relaxed night away from home and that’s what it proved to be! The heated pool was well used and an awesome feature in the cosy extension. Plenty of space to sleep everyone and had everything you needed. I stayed here with friends but I feel like it would also be perfect for a get away with the kids too. One thing that wasn’t advertised greatly was the view you get to experience in the morning, it’s stunning. Thanks for having us and helping us out with some fresh sausages and bacon in the morning!

Luxury cosy home

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was one of our favorite Airbnbs maybe ever (and we've spent months traveling and staying in Airbnbs). This cottage is absolutely breathtakingly cute and spotless. The decorating is warm and cozy chic. The setting is stunning. It was nice to be at a retreat center and Laura has done a beautiful job renovating this traditional Welsh farm, turning it into quite a showplace. Our kid loved the trampoline and tree swings. I got a massage treatment from her center, which was lovely. Laura was so kind and even brought us some dinner our second night. We'd love to return one day to this idyllic setting!

Barrwg, Rural self-catering cottage on farm

PeterRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Sara Louise was more than a perfect host. If there were more than 5 stars, I would have selected them. Of course the flat was clean and everything comfortable and in working order, but it was the extras that made her such a great host and made our weeklong stay at her place outstanding. On Easter morning, there was a chocolate egg at our door for my 6-year-old-grandson (Yes, she did ask permission from the parents). Did I mention that this is a working farm? Sara Louise invited the kiddo to help feed two of the lambs from a bottle. Wonderful. I hope we will be able to book in again on our next trip to South Wales. Diolch!

Absolutely beautiful place! The cottage was top notch. The bed linen was so soft! It’s well decorated and resourced. The decor makes you feel peaceful, calm and relaxed. We enjoyed the local attractions and walks. It was within 30 minutes of the ICC theatre which is where we were seeing a show. Such a beautiful space I would definitely go again

Cwmwbwb Lodge

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The lodge we stayed in was amazing! from start to finish the place felt like home. Paula our host left a fantastic guide of things to do, places to visit, and clear instructions on how to look after the lodge. The beds were comfortable, the lodge was furnished to a high standard, and the town of Caerphilly was fantastic! We ate a fabulous meal in the Italian recommended by our host, and it delivered on every level. The lodge was on a private road so was very private and the peace ,nature and fresh air did myself and family wonders. would highly recommend this host and lodge if planning a visit to Wales, and I hope to return again soon myself in the future.
A spacious garden area features a manicured lawn and a tiered wooden fence, providing unobstructed views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The clear blue sky complements the serene landscape, creating a bright and open atmosphere.

Poppy's Pad

LucyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Stayed at Poppy's pad for two nights as we had a wedding to go to not far from the accommodation. On arrival the place is lovely with a canal behind for a nice walk. check in was Easy and Jason was on hand for queries . Poppy's pad is above a pub so if you don't mind the sound of the band playing downstairs you will be fine. we didn't plan on going out so had the balcony doors open and listened from upstairs in our pjs. one criticism was the entrance to Poppy's place has a private door. I think connected to the pub . we were woken both mornings by doors slamming loudly. Think maybe a sign on door so the pub staff no that it's being occupied or maybe would be a bit quieter. but that's the pubs problem, nothing to do with the accommodation. Had a really nice stay, beautiful views from windows , comfy bed and everything you could need for a nice stay. Even had milk bread butter provided. Thanks would stay again.
A comfortable lounge area features two sofas and an armchair arranged around a wooden coffee table. A large TV is mounted above a wooden mantel, and soft lighting creates a welcoming ambiance. Decor items, including a small vase with dried flowers, are placed strategically on surfaces.
