Amazing stay at Carol’s place by Lake Texoma. Felt secluded with beautiful, quiet surroundings!! Inside was cozy and comfortable. Great beds, wonderful amenities- had everything we needed and more for our family of 3! Carol even provided a high chair, pack and play and toys for our almost 2yr old.If you’re considering a stay here, I definitely recommend it!

Our guests really enjoyed the very clean brand new house, they commented on how wonderful the water pressure was, the showers were terrific!!! A special thank you to Al Mickler. He went beyond expectations taking care of our guests. Thank you, thank you!!!! Also we want to thank the new owners of "Buncombe Creek Marina" who have greatly improved and expanded the Marina who I know have great plans for it, for years to come. I really enjoyed my stay it was easy to get to and it was like a home away home. She responded quickly when I reached out. Great place will definitely be going back.

If people complain about spiders, they’ve obviously never been out in the woods or near the woods. The place was great. We even got visited by a sweet gray kitty while we were there (he was outside on the front porch). Only spiders were outside garden spiders. The ONLY thing we would change is the lack of curtains or blinds in all the rooms outside the bedrooms. That’s no blinds in the living room so the neighbor building across the street just sat there sometimes staring in our direction which made my teenaged daughters feel uneasy. Feels odd at night watching a movie and wondering if perhaps you’ve stepped into an inadvertent movie yourself. As far as the home itself - it is exactly as described and had a very homely feel to it. The lake is a 8 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. It was a great place and yes, we would stay there again. We would just bring huge towels to cover the front windows. Also, the host is super responsive and very nice as well!

Andrea was very responsive and welcoming. The cottage was exactly as described. We enjoyed having the ability to let our dog go off leash on the property which is a nicely wooded, enclosed area. The cottage itself is super cozy and well stocked with all that we needed. You can tell that Andrea takes pride in providing a relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Awesome place that was comfortable with everything needed for a large group of people. Also, it’s a great location being so close to the lake and nearby town.

Great location for a fishing trip with some friends!

The house is beautiful and our teenagers were entertained with the play room. There was enough room for everyone and the owner was very helpful with all our questions and quick replies. Thank you!!

We booked this location because it was close by and perfect for our holiday overflow guests. The report from our guest was it was very clean and the property was very peaceful. Just as described, we hope it’s available the next time we need extra space for our guests.

Tresa was super responsive, very lenient and kind. The decor was very cute and homey. LOTS of places to sit. The shampoo, conditioner, and bar of soap was a nice touch. Very well stocked with kitchenware and the 3 porch areas were very lovely.

Owning an RV is a dream of mine, but unfortunately, not my husband’s. I wanted to go camping and it wasn’t hard to convince him after he saw all the amenities like the hot tub , kitchen, blackstone and coffee. This was exactly what I needed to get out of town and out of the office. The property is peaceful and private with beautiful surroundings. Next time we’re bringing the dogs! We went hiking at Coffee Mill Lake and it was beautiful but next time we’re just going to stay at the property with its trails and abundant activities. We had so much fun using the putting green, hula hoops, and stargazing. Absolutely will be back soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this place. I really appreciate the snacks that were provided and Kim was very effective at communicating with me, she responded in a timely manner. Much appreciated. Highly recommend
