We stayed only one night in Tarrafal. We easily found the place with the GPS and were able to park the car right next door. The room was clean and quiet. The shared bathroom is ok. We had dinner in a restaurant a few minutes walk away. Breakfast is very good. Very good value for money.

Lovely new place within walking distance of Porto Novo city center. It has a great view of Porto Novo and you can even see Mindelo! Sandra & Armando made sure we had everything we needed, from a daily and varied breakfast to pick up from our previous location etc. We've also had a lovely Cape Verdean dinner here and we already miss the 3 dogs 🥰 all in all a great place to stay that I'd definitely recommend!

I had a great time here, certainly too short (1 night). The accommodation is spotless and good location. I hadn't planned dinner there, but my hosts were so nice, that I stayed there the whole evening, missing the evening I had planned to go lol. Géraldine the manager, Ju Sara at the bar, and Eva in the kitchen are just great, and of course their dishes are authentic and excellent. Edmundo will also be able to advise you and offer you quality excursions. Again, I had to discover the Serra Malagueta without a guide, but taken by the time I preferred to be accompanied, and I did well because the hike was amazing. Without the presence of Marly & Jennifer (my guides) I would have missed a lot of things, it was cool, informative and they made me discover and live fantastic moments. Speaking Portuguese, I don't need any French-speaking hosts, but I think I'll come back here...because it feels really good:)

Beautiful clean room with balcony, on a quiet street. Slight downside for the bathroom, because of the shower curtain that makes the shower complicated. Attention, no breakfast possible in the residence, but there is an establishment on the ground floor that offers it and the host has put a kettle at my disposal for my coffee on the last day because I was leaving before the opening of this establishment. I really enjoyed my gesture. The concierge is on site until 6pm, check-in is quick.

For those looking for a peaceful place and to meet the inhabitants of Cape Verde, this is the place for you. The kindness of Zeza and Ricado and their children. Thanks to their attention, my partner and I had a memorable stay. 14 days of total change of scenery. Zeza is always attentive and offers excellent advice. The place is spotless and the breakfast is amazing!!!! I highly recommend it.
