Happy to have stayed for 7 days at Yolande's house. A peaceful place, walkable area. There is electricity 24/7. The bathroom has both hot and cold water. During my journey, I had the chance to visit Fort Jacques. I enjoyed my stay at Yolande's house, and I recommend it to anyone who needs a peaceful place to relax and take a vacation.

I have stayed in many nice Air BnBs and apartments, but this place felt like our home! We did not want to leave and will 100% be booking here again. We were three adult Americans who visited December 2018 for a work trip. At the end of a long work day we were super excited to come home, make dinner, and enjoy our evenings at the apartment and around Petion-Ville. Like the other reviewers mentioned, the apartment is nicer than the photos show. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are large, the tall ceilings make the space breathe well and the view from the 3rd floor balcony is stunning! We saved a TON of money staying here. We were 3 adults (2 big guys, and 1 woman) on a business trip and wanted to all stay together and have the ability to cook some meals. The large kitchen had a full-size refrigerator and gas stove, came with pots and pans, rum glasses, and anything else you may need to cook. I looked at all of the hotels and apartment options for 3 adults and no other place could accomodate us so perfectly like this apartment. The place is really a steal for 3 people. The owner, Miss Carine had her staff put an extra queen-size bed one of the very large bedrooms, so that we had one king bed in one room, and a king and queen in another room. Even with two large beds in one room there was still a ton of space. Each bedroom has it's own large bathroom. My king size bed was even memory foam! There are three grocery stores within walking distance to this apartment so we were able to get fresh food and produce to cook a few meals and save some cash. The neighborhood felt very safe, and I felt very comfortable as a single female to walk around town just using the standard precautions that I would also use in the U.S. Just around the corner there were also electronics stores and hardware stores. We were able to find an obscure laptop charger and other supplies right in our neighborhood. Like I said, all of these stores and other nice restaurants and clubs are within walking distance so we did not have to use taxis and motos (more savings). The internet at this apartment is STRONG, and we always had electricity. The security and staff at this apartment are incredibly nice and helpful. We felt VERY secure, and it was wonderful to come home to a freshly cleaned apartment everyday. There was a washer and dryer on our floor so we could do all of our own laundry which was a dream! Usually laundry is always expensive and complicated abroad, so we saved even more money and time getting to do it ourselves. We met the homeowners and the are lovely, hardworking Haitians who went out of our way to make us feel comfortable and informed. If you are here for business or just for travel, this apartment will feel like home! Counting down the days until we return... Mesi!! (Thank you!)

Simple build and effective. Great sun rise perfect Mountain View’s, great location. An ideal place for a great peaceful getaway

I owe a great debt to Bj and his team. Bj's onsite manager was very responsive and communicated throughout the process. They were very helpful with everything prior to check-in and very patient with a late check-in. The location was very safe, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. I am thankful that I found this airbnb in Port-au-Prince Haiti and hope to use it in the future.

Jean and his wife were amazing . This my first time staying at an Airbnb while in Haiti and I have no regrets . The day of my arrival not only did he meet me to ensure that I would arrive to the house with no issues he and his wife greeted me and took me for a tour around the house . What left me so amazed that he knew that I had a long trip he purchased a Gallon of water with tea and coffee. To anyone that has ever traveled to Haiti drinking the water is a no no . I was truly appreciative after such a long flight . Chachou the gate man was amazing as well . Any problem that I had was quickly resolved . This place is a must when your visiting Haiti. My only issue was cooking was slightly hard due to lack of serving bowls . However a quick trip to the supermarket resolved that issue.

This is by the best place I have stayed in Haiti. Mr. Black who is the assistant manager is amazing. Mr. Black is always there to assist. I actually miss our mid day conversations. Mrs Louis is impeccable. Haiti is blessed to have such a big hearted mother to many. It was like I was home. Serenity Home is furnished and clean. I am usually particular about the bedding, but everything was clean. Please book this place for your next trip, you will enjoy the home and meet some wonderful and beautiful people. I also enjoyed figuring out the model on a magazine cover that was on the living room table was actually Soraya the daughter of Mrs. Louis. It was a pleasant time staying in Serenity. It is a safe spot that will provide you with a peace of mind.
