Luxury renovation of historic shotgun home

LizRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Richard’s home is absolutely gorgeous. My daughters and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend for our annual December New Orleans’ girls weekend trip. We arrived, opened the door and were immediately wowed by this gem. The house is beautifully decorated, well thought out for guests and spotless. Richard was proactive and attentive and made sure we had detailed instructions. Communication was friendly and thoughtful, which we found so welcoming. Best part was the decorated and lit Christmas tree that greeted us in the den. Hope we get the chance to enjoy this place again on a future visit.

The Marigny Retreat

WaltRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cost was shared by six of us which made the per night cost very very affordable. There were plenty of towels, dishes and kitchen utensils. The place was immaculate on our arrival. Christopher was very responsive to an issue we had with hot water and came in while we were gone and took care of it. Overall, this was a perfect place for six guys who came into town to catch a Saints game and relax for 3 days. Would highly recommend.

Charming Home in Vibrant Bywater

MiltonRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Judy is a great host and she clearly cares about providing her guests with everything they need to enjoy their stay. I’ve family in New Orleans and I visit regularly and have stayed in a variety of places: this is the best! Many, even most hosts seem focused on providing the minimum. That isn’t Judy’s approach. She reached out to me ahead of time to see if there was anything I might need when I arrived. I asked for almond milk for my morning coffee. When I arrived and opened the fridge it was stocked with juices and filtered water, organic eggs, butter, English muffins, condiments, apples, a head of lettuce, bagels and my almond milk! Wow! There was coffee and tea, oatmeal, snacks. The kitchen was stocked appropriate cookware and dishes. New appliances, blender, coffee maker, French press. I felt immediately at home. The bathroom was similarly well imagined and stocked. Bedroom is small but big enough and the bed was very comfortable. I’d love to go on but I’m out of space!

So lovely to spend a long weekend here. Very accessible with ability to walk around the neighborhood and get a feeling for the place. Close by spots to have dinner, breakfast, and lunch. Had everything we needed for the stay and the backyard was a delight to hang out in.

The Art House on Chartres 2BR

HowardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The absolute best. We have a daughter in the Marigny and have come often over the last 10 years. We have stayed in 10 to 15 Air BnBs primarily in Marigny over that period. This in unquestionably best. It is a beautiful place. Clarisse had indeed built an Art House. It is comfortably spacious. All appliances and facilities are up to date. Very clean and impeccably maintained. Walking distance to great restaurants (we ate N7, Franklyn and Palidor--all excellent ) and to Frenchmen Street Music (we went to the Blue Nile and Spotted Cat). Ayo Bakery great for breakfast. also Horns and Who Dat--all within 100 yards. and on Sunday walked to Jackson Square and Cafe DuMonde.) But the real asset is Clarisse. The place is exceptionally furnished, spic and span clean and extraordinarily comfortable. She and Zoe answered all questions and everything ready for us on arrival. Simply put, it the absolute best AirBnB in New Orleans.

Relax&Enjoy! Just 3 miles from the French Quarter

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Myself and 4 friends spent the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend at the house. The house was very large and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of a small grocery store and several restaurants. We chose to Uber around The Quarter, Downtown and Garden District and the house was close to them. We parked our car in front of the house and didn’t have any problems. I thought the pricing was very reasonable as well. We are very happy with our stay.

Chateau Lola 18STR-11379.

Wonderful stay. This will be our new go-to place when visiting our daughter at Tulane. Heather and Andy are so nice and super helpful about check-in, making us feel welcome, and giving recommendations for local events and activities. Their place is comfortable, homey, clean, loaded with charm, and this is the first time a host has left us a full breakfast in the fridge. Myself, my husband, and my three young adult children felt so at home in the space and there was plenty of room for all. Fun, safe and funky neighborhood and a two minute walk to Tulane and Audubon park.

Roberto’s place was exactly what we were looking for. Great price and great location. Roberto’s was extremely friendly and helpful about his space and the surrounding areas. He had left us snacks and refreshments and also helped me with my laundry. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be renting this space again.

RANCHO NIRVANA: Vacation & Staycation Perfection!

IvonneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Memo’s Airbnb from November 7 to 11 in New Orleans. The location is perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, allowing us to easily enjoy the vibrant culture of the city. The house is full of New Orleans charm, and we were delighted to see that the Halloween decorations were still up, adding an extra festive touch to our visit. The home is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including cozy beds and a great selection of games and books for entertainment. Michelle and Memo were fantastic hosts, very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable New Orleans experience!

Loft living in Irish Channel

HannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Mia is a bad ass! (Am I allowed to say that in a review?) super helpful and accommodating! We drove 11.5 hours through the night from Indiana and got there wayyyyy early before check in! She went above and beyond to accommodate us! The space is so fun and decorated beautifully. Loved the location, as we came for a concert that was at Mardi Gras world! 5 min drive, 20 min walk. Well stocked with coffee, tea, towels and bathroom accouterments. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat, and other places to go to. Super fun space and I felt so safe and slept great. Will definitely book again when we come to New Orleans.

Great Historic Home on Magazine Street

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friends and family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this Airbnb. As we all previously lived in New Orleans, this rental brought back fond memories of the New Orleans life style with the old wood floors and glass door. There was ample amount of street parking and was walkable distance to various restaurants and stores. The owner was quick to respond once messaged regarding an issues and arrived to the rental within the hour to assess the situation. I will definitely save this rental on my list to visit next time we come into town.

Nine room B&B steps from the French Quarter!

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Simply put: they are wonderful people running a top notch place with mouthwatering breakfast! If you want southern hospitality and down home cooking you HAVE to stay here. Michelle’s breakfasts were restaurant quality, and the love she puts into her food goes into every aspect of Elysian Fields Inn. Our room was so clean, the house is gorgeous, it’s so close to everything (Frenchman St., Bourbon St., public transit, the best local bar, etc.) and the owners just make it next level. They are accommodating, knowledgeable to the area, and have great recommendations. We will definitely be back and will be staying with Michelle/Elysian Fields Inn again! In all aspects, it’s a wonderful place to stay!

HH Whitney House - Deluxe 2-bedroom, 1-bath suite

JamesRating, 5 stars24 months ago
The ambiance of this residence places a guest within the vitality of New Orleans, yet the copious spaciousness of rooms afford privacy; plus the porch accessible through the living area added spectacular vantage of the neighborhood. Glen was a master cook for breakfast, varied and deliciouos. He offered excellent advice about navigating to jazz, gardens, Jackson Square, etc. In addition, he took the time to speak of the history of his residence and the workings of the presentation of Mardi Gras floats. No better place or person as a base for New Orleans visit

The Laurel Bed and Breakfast in Mid-City

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Laura's place is filled with New Orleans charm! The architecture and setting are gorgeous, and the sun-filled sitting room is a really nice bonus. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in her house and in this quiet neighborhood. And even though there were a couple of secured doors into her living space (which you use to access the morning breakfast), I didn't hear a thing during the time I was there. I enjoyed the private entrance too. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast b/c I had to leave early the days I was there, but Laura generously offered and it sounded really yummy. You can get a quick cab/rideshare ride into the Quarter for about $20 incl. tip - well worth it if you like peace and quiet. And there are delicious restaurants in walking distance to boot! Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Laura!
