Burnsville vacation rentals

We absolutely loved our stay at the stargazer cabin :) We were lucky enough to have snow for the weekend and the cabin was soooo cozy. The fireplace added such a nice ambience and the cabin stayed toasty warm during our snow stay. The cabin was squeaky clean and had all the amenities we needed to make ourselves feel at home. We will definitely look into another stay here when visiting the area.

Spending 6 days in this cabin was a wonderful experience. Our son enjoyed it very much. It is a beautiful, clean, quiet and private place. It was just what we wanted. The cabin was well equipped and close to important places.

Bruce's place was the idyllic winter cabin for us and the dog, a stone's throw from the AT (literally yards away) and relatively secluded. It was comfortably warm, even in winter, and well-stocked with provisions. Bruce was a very responsive host and his wife, Jill, even gave us a ride up the icy mountain in her pickup for our winter hike. Helene resulted in nearby rode closures but detours were available and there was no impact on our access. Highly recommend for a hiker's getaway!

The place was as described and as depicted in the pictures, warm, cozy and small. I went there with my son to spend a night before taking off early for a ski day in a nearby ski resort. For that purpose, the place was great and inexpensive. We arrived late at night, barely interact with the hosts by text on arrival and took off early in the morning. I will go back to this place if I go skiing again to that area.

Beautiful home and peaceful location. Perfect for a recent girls trip, about 20 minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. Shari and Spencer were very thoughtful in leaving us a bottle of wine, chocolates, fresh eggs, cream and even homemade tea bags from their garden. The home itself is beautifully decorated and all the bedrooms are a very nice size. We enjoyed seeing Asheville but it was great to just relax at the house ! Would definitely recommend !

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for our honeymoon and I honestly couldn't have chosen a better rental. There were beautiful views. Everything was very clean. The hot tub was fantastic. There was an awesome fireplace that lit right up with the touch of a button. The space was light and bright with all of the beautiful windows. There was even more included than the photos and description offer such as a fusball table and pingpong table on the ground floor. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who just wants an amazing place to relax. 10 out of 10. I hope to rent this cabin every year for our anniversary. Thank you for having us Keith!

Came up here to ski with some friends and felt right at home. Very cool and comfy place. BRING WOOD FOR STOVE. It will keep you toasty in the winter weather. Michelle was also extremely responsive and helpful with every question I had. Would definitely recommend this cabin along with any other AirBnB Michelle hosts!

Cozy place with easy check in at a reasonable price!

Wonderful escape to the mountains! House had everything to make you feel like you are in a charming log cabin, but with all the modern comforts, including spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and dining areas.  We enjoyed a weekend away as a family playing many of the board game choices and enjoying the beautiful view! The cabin was also perfect for our fur friends! We appreciated the fenced in yard that connected straight to the upper deck so you could easily let the dogs out on a cold morning without the hassle of having to leash and walk them! The family definitely voted that this is the house we will return to upon future trips! 

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our three kids. Modern, cozy, clean and spacious. Location is wonderful - safe and quiet in a neighborhood right by downtown. Well stocked with supplies to make our stay feel so smooth and hospitable -- dishwasher pods, dish soap, new sponge, laundry detergent, small toiletry kits, and oil and spices in the pantry for light cooking. Also, the big leather sectional couch in the living room is possibly one of the best couches our family has ever gotten to lounge on! Perfect for the end of a long day! Highly recommend!

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

Tori's place was great, it fit all our needs and she was extremely responsive and helpful. Will stay here again next time we visit Beech Mountain.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! The views of the lake from the large windows were breathtaking, and we enjoyed waking up to them every morning. The house itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Even though our stay was during the winter, we still enjoyed hanging out at the dock fishing and grilling out, which made the experience even more special. The host really made our stay even more wonderful — they were attentive, responsive to all our questions, and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. We would love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Howard's Mountain Top Paradise was a truly excellent place for my group's weekend getaway. Myself and 5 other adults were very comfortable with the accommodations, and the amenities made it feel like luxury. The sauna and hot tub were extremely relaxing during a weekend full of winter sports and long travel. The place was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities for a perfect mountain vacation. 10/10 - would visit again, would recommend to a friend

The condo was amazing. It was a recommendation from a friend and didn’t disappoint. The kitchen had all the necessities. The beds were comfy and pillows exceptional. If we come back to Banner Elk we would stay here again. It’s a perfect location between both mountains. Brian was helpful and communicative for all our needs.
