Home to rent by the sea

Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.
A cozy sitting room features a comfortable sofa, complemented by warm wood flooring. A wooden coffee table sits in the center, surrounded by light from recessed ceiling lights. A television is positioned to the left, while a wood-burning stove adds a touch of charm to the space.

A great stay. The house was really spacious and very well decorated. There was lots of lovely touches such as some food in the fridge. The house was sparkling clean and Damien and Emma were great hosts. They responded to messages quickly and were very helpful! I’d highly recommend a stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Eden Cottage Countryside Retreat

ErinRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

Mountain View Glenthanies Anascaul V92 P7F7

PeterRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Mountain View, is an ideal location to tour the area. Dingle, Inch Beach and the Ring of Kerry is a magnificent drive, not to be missed. Locally we ate in Annascaul, at the Pocheen Pub, decent food for the price, and excellent Guinness. Deborah is a wonderful host, who remains in the background, but is there if you need her. The accommodation is very spacious and accommodating, with two bathrooms, one having a lovely walk in shower. The kitchen is very well stocked, and, I must be honest, the goodies Deborah provided us with on arrival, is probably the best we have ever received. Overall, a lovely holiday, with wonderful untrodden places to explore, with a great host. Many thanks Deb’s, we enjoyed it very much.

Escape to the beautiful countryside

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place was warm when we arrived as the stove had already been lit for us. Rita greeted us and popped by a couple times to check all was good, and generously gave us some free range eggs, and made sure we had fuel for the stove for our whole stay, very friendly and kind. Everything was good in the place, and there was enough hot water to get a full bath. We would absolutely stay again.

Cosy cottage close to the sea and village.

MattRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Christmas, my wife and I spent a week cozied up in what I can only describe as the most charming coastal home! The home itself has everything we needed. It felt both cozy yet grand. We were very comfortable in every aspect. In fact, we both said we got some of the best sleep of our lives! This idyllic cottage set the stage for so many unforgettable moments. We enjoyed walks along the road, the moss-covered stone walls, greeted the sweet neighboring cows, explored the tide pools, cooked meals together using fresh vegetables from the garden, watched Christmas movies, and ventured into nearby Galway for shopping, pub life, and walked the Christmas Market as it is a short drive from the village. A fabulous holiday in the books and we are already talking about our return to this beautiful part of the world.

What a wonderful place! Beautifully tranquil in the heart of Burren country. The photographs do not do the property justice at all, the space seems more spacious and was thoroughly delightful. The only complaint is on myself having only booked two nights, I could have stayed so much longer. Will try to be back next year.

Summerhill Ennis Town Centre

My partner and I had a great stay at Barry's. We stayed for 9 nights and check-in/out were easy since his shop is below the unit. Barry was extremely communicative and helpful, I would highly recommend this listing. The kitchen had all we needed to cook some simple meals and access to a washer + dryer was a big plus. The unit itself was very secure with a locked gate and a semi-private building entrance (only shared with an office for his pet shop I think?) and near some shops and restaurants. One thing to note is that noise levels were generally fine, but this unit is only 1 level up from the sidewalk so Friday and Saturday nights got a little noisy from people yelling and laughing below. Nothing too bad, especially if you're used to living in noisy areas, but something to consider.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy's as a family of 6. It was a fab location 8 minute drive outside the town. We used a taxi once and it was €14, taxis were always available on the street and by using the freenow app. Kathys accommodation was spotlessly clean, great wifi, easy check in. Everything was amazing and the house is huge. Thanks for a great stay Kathy. We will definitely be back.
