Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views and a comfortable house. Had everything we needed and was nice and clean! Would recommend to anyone who wants a base to explore the amazing surrounding area.

Absolutely beautiful stay- staff were so friendly and helpful. The wee cabin was perfect- everything was set up perfectly- clean, private, comfortable bed and absolutely everything you needed for a stay. Having a simple breakfast sitting on the door step set us up for the day’s adventures too! The location was perfect- beautiful scenery and watching the weather roll in while nice and toasty- managed a wee loch swim before coming back to a roasting hot tub was amazing (showered in between in the lovely rainfall shower of course!). We loved it and will definitely be back. I would come back again. It was lovely.

The lodge was beautiful and just as described . Unfortunately for us the weather was against us so we didn’t manage to do the walks we wanted to but we stayed warm and cosy in the lodge surrounded by the lovely views . Morag is a great host, answered every query quickly and was really helpful with queries about the drive and the ferry . Would definitely recommend and hope to go back again to do those walks and explore the area .

What a lovely house! Spacious, beautifully decorated with lots of natural materials, feels super cozy. It has everything you need and I especially liked the large kitchen. Traveling with two children we tend to cook a lot and it was a joy to do it here. The three (!) bathrooms are also super convenient. It was quite warm, so we didn't use the fireplace, but I bet it's lovely in winter. The horses right next to the backyard were a nice surprise (they like being fed and come around regularly :-) )! It's not too far into town with its shops, Cafés, restaurants etc. and of course the harbour (do the Staffa Tour if you have the time, well worth it). Finally, Alison herself was a great host. She provides any information you could need and answered super quickly when we had a small issue. We stayed a week on the island and couldn't have asked for a more perfect home. If we are lucky enough to come back to Tobermory one day, I'll certainly book this house again.

Very nice and beautiful place to stay :) Very clean , clean carpet big rooms ,big living room very cozy place . Definitely I would like to back to this place once again :) The view was stunning :)

If you are looking for a place on the great Isle of Islay this is it! Not too far away and just enough to have a relaxing time. Was here for 3 nights and place was perfect for short morning drives to Portnahaven, Port Ellen, Bowmore. Small little pubs/restaurants were perfect. Just make sure to book a reservation if you do look to eat. Got a chance to visit 6 distilleries while on the island. Great spot, family loved and and drinking coffee every morning or a wee dram every night watching the lighthouse was amazing…we will look to be back

We came up all the way from Somerset to stay for 4 days for my partners birthday - she'd never been to Scotland and I hadn't been for years. Karen and Uisdeans place is a little slice of heaven. Tucked away near the Caledonian Canal and Loch Lochy it is divine. We managed to explore all the way out to Oban and to Skye whilst staying here, as well as some more local sites like Glenfinnan and Loch Eil, and Loch Ness. We were lucky enough to have snow whilst here which made the place even more beautiful and peaceful. We got engaged whilst up here as well so a totally special stay - we'll definitely be back here, it holds so many amazing memories for us. Karen and Uisdean are so helpful and lovely, with loads of info provided if needed, and a lovely tour of the property. They even left some dog treats, a dog blanket and a cushion for our puppy! Would 100% recommend to anyone heading out this way.

Very thoughtful host and excellent communication. Beautiful surroundings and homely. Loved the access and being able to use our paddleboard.

We could not have had a better stay at Vanessa’s cottage. Everything was perfect. It’s lovely and clean with stunning decor. A compact kitchen with all of the essentials. There is a lovely view of the sea from the kitchen window. Tobermory is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed getting cosy in front of the wood burning stove in the evening. From start to finish Vanessa was a really friendly and responsive host. Thanks for a great stay Vanessa. ❤️

The pod was perfect, had everything we needed and was spotless, had clear instructions of how to use everything and the location was perfect!! would definitely recommend
