I am still smiling from the lovely stay at Brenda's place. Besides the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever experienced, It has such a relaxed, clean, welcoming vibe. Fantastic communication, very welcoming even without getting to see her (due to my late arrival/early departure). Other pleasant surprises included direct passage from the property to the beachfront walking tracks, and the very appreciated refreshments on arrival :). We hope to return. For us it was a perfect location for staying before heading on the Lady Musgrave tour :)

If looking for instant relaxation on arrival, tranquil nearly meditative surrounds, then this place is a must. Extremely quiet with the magic Fraser Coast ocean at your doorstep - literally!. Dog friendly. We paddle boarded every day whilst the dog ran along the beach. The house is very clean and ideally positioned to catch the gentle breeze. Whether reading a book or enjoying the lively fishing, this place will take you back in time where life is easy. The house is perfectly positioned within a super-chilled fishing village. The ideal escape from the hustle of the city. The owners were wonderful and encouraged us to meet the warm neighbours for a drink around the fire pit only metres from waters edge - we felt like locals instantly! The house was spotless, well presented. If we weren't in the ocean, we were playing soccer & cricket hours on end on the large turfed area on the beach. Perfect/safe for kids. We will be back, we just want to make sure it never loses its charm!

We stayed here for my mum’s 60th, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had such a welcoming feel. The location was peaceful, and we had everything we needed to make the weekend truly special. It’s a space we’ll always remember and would love to return to one day. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Was a great stay in a pretty cottage, I’ll definitely be back

This place served as a fantastic early Christmas getaway for my family. The place had plenty of space and facilitated the family perfectly. The area is nice and secluded, and the pool was a nice bonus! Hosts were friendly, I’d stay again :)

My wife and I originally booked this place for ourselves to have a getaway from the kids for the first time in a very long time and it didn’t go quite to plan haha. My wife and I arrived at the property, which is beautiful, surround by plants and trees. The home was spotless! Then we got the call….. it wasn’t to be. We had to leave and go back home. So while we didn’t actually get to experience “staying”, the place was beautiful, well appointed, and the surrounding gardens well kept as well. We’re local to Hervey Bay so have visited bamboo land a number of times and always love getting out and walking amongst nature. Will try to get back out and stay in the near future.
