This is a great place to stay. You can see the pyramids from the rooftop. People are nice and kind. The driver was very eager to show you places worthwhile visiting!

I’d like to thank Yousra, she is an amazing host who was willing to help me with anything she could. I came to Cairo really early and I felt so tired and wanted to check in early, she helped me so much and made sure that I could get to the apartment early. The apartment is also amazing!! A nice place to stay in the vibrant district of Cairo. Expect the apartment to be exactly as on the picture. We liked the easy and quick access to the place, cleaning service on demand, some complimentary snacks and water. The host was really nice, provided us with the detailed city guide and quality recommendations on places to eat nearby. And we were exited to have the late check out! The location would definitely suit you if you like art galleries, antiques shops, tasty gelato and coffee shops

Everything worked out fine. The including breakfast was perfectly on time (one can choose the exact time between 8 or 9 and 11 o’clock) and absolutely great (fresh bread, cheese, jam, egg, salad, fruits, tea or juice, butter, falafel, Pommes frites and so on). I have to emphasise, that the communication with the hotel was very good. We had to change our plans and that was no problem. Without any hesitation we could do the changes in our booking - thanks again!!

I had a great stay in Moustafa's flat, which is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Cairo. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, and you'll find all you need in the area. It's also close to subway stations, so you can easily travel along the lines. The flat itself is big and equipped with all the necessities, be it in the kitchen or bathrooms. The rooms are comfortable and all of them have air conditioning, which is a must in Cairo. Moustafa is a very agreeable host, and in Cairo Halla was easy to reach and readily available to help me with any issues I encountered during my stay. All in all, I warmly recommend this place if you need accommodation in Downtown!

I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

A perfect spot to stay in Cairo. The neighborhood is central, quiet but lively. Perfect for going out to dinner in the evening, it's easy to walk around. The apartment is cozy, well decorated. And above all, Martine's welcome is at its best: we received lots of good tips for visits, restaurants etc. I will happily return if I come back to Cairo!

Bayt Yakan is an incredible place! Highly recommended! Everyone is so kind and truly helpful with all kinds of matters – whether it’s about getting there or local advice once you’re on site. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the people are so lovely! I even spent an entire day just at Bayt Yakan to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. :) I will definitely come back! Thank you so much for everything!

Bayt Yakan is a very cool place to stay in Cairo. it's a peaceful retreat from a bustling, noisy, full-of-life local neighbourhood. Great attractions and restaurants, shops, markets are all just steps away. breakfast was a 10/10 on a private terrace. the room wasn't quite as large or luxurious as the photos made it look, but it was comfortable enough. The friendliness and responsiveness of the staff made up for this. Travelers should note that Bayt Yakan is an active part of the community. On the three nights I stayed, two nights had academic historical lectures in the courtyard and one had a commercial photo/video shoot. For some, this is cool to see a vibrant spot in action. for others, they'll wish they had the space to enjoy for themselves. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The common spaces, like the rooftop deck and two incredible libraries were quiet and stunning. I would stay again but I will hope that renovations continue to some of the remaining spaces. thanks!

My partner was met with the warmest welcome and immediately felt home in the unique apartment. Nasser is helpful, knowledgeable and kind, and the location in Zamalek is nicce and not to far from good restaurants, bars and the metro! We hope to visit Nasser again another time!

Thanks Mr. Nasser for providing such a beautiful, comfortable room and balcony for my first trip in Cairo. Glad to say that this is my first time to book room in Airbnb and my experience is very nice because the apartment is clean and tidy. Other tourists living here are also very friendly to me and help me get adapted to Cairo. Cats are cute and they like staying together with people, which makes me feel warm. I will choose to live here again if I come to Cairo in future!

A beautiful traditional building with a fantastic library and nice garden. It located in old city of Cairo, it’s really safe and lively. you can discover a lot in that district and make real humanistic photography captures.
