Lake house vacation rentals in Bucks Lake

Nice quite big house side the lake. Our family spent a wonderful Christmas holiday there. Furnitures are good quality and clean. There is an entertainment room on the top floor where there is an arcade game machine.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Lake Almanor! The home was spotless, well-stocked, and perfectly cozy for our getaway. The location was peaceful, with beautiful views and easy access to the lake. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether relaxing on the deck or exploring the area, we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Washington! The space was perfect for our large group (two families with young kids plus the grandparents). The setting is idyllic (beautiful view from the back porch) and the sauna was the perfect way to relax after long days playing in the snow and hitting the ski slopes (just under an hour away). Would love to come back and stay here again sometime!!

Eunice's place was amazing. Our party enjoyed every minute we were there. Great location to enjoy Lake Almanor.

With elementary aged kids, it was crucial for us to find a spot close to fun and activities and this house was perfect. We were right across the street from the tennis/pickleball courts at Rec 1 and a 1 minute walk to the beach. The location was everything we needed. The house was clean and accommodating. Newly built, it was clutter free. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The upstairs loft is the king bed and because it is upstairs and there are no window shades on the top-story back windows, there was some privacy concerns. We fixed that by hanging our beach towels on the stair railing and leaving the bathroom door open once we went to bed. The WiFi was touch n go but we were warned about that and knew that service would be slow. We didn’t watch tv much anyways. Overall, we loved it and will try to be back again.

From the initial booking, to check in and check out, Michael was extremely responsive and very clear in setting expectations. His place is very well appointed! Looking forward to another visit!

Love the house close to the lake. It’s beautiful safe lots of parking and the view of the lake sunrise was breathtaking. Nicolette was an excellent host responding to our needs.

Amazing place! We had our wedding here with a small group of our closest family and friends and it was perfect! The owners were incredibly accommodating with our needs to ensure our wedding was perfect. Highly recommend for a small event or a getaway. Loved that at night we could see all the stars and the house perfectly fit our whole wedding party. Excited to stay there again, maybe for our first anniversary!

This is THE spot to stay at Serene Lakes! My husband and I spent a week here in the summer with my two little kids (3 and 5) and my in-laws. This is the most well stocked home I have ever stayed at (and we've stayed at a LOT of homes!) The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook big family meals. There are tons of games and toys for kids and adults, and the three levels provide plenty of space for multiple generations to spread out. The proximity to the beach is of course the best part. We did a big grocery run on the first day and then only got in the car a couple of times to visit Lake Tahoe. Otherwise we mountain biked, hiked, beached, and paddled right out the door. The perfect family vacation!

Had a great stay with the family at Johny's place. Him and the other host were ery communicative as well as accommodating during our stay. Not to mention the surrounding are a was gorgeous. Would recommend a stay here!

We had a great time. Joe was very responsive, the house was clean, he gave of lots of recommendations and even brought us more wood and salted the deck for us when it was freezing. We arrived to wine and champagne and a meat and cheese tray which was so sweet. We had everything we need to cook full meals. There were 5 of us (adults) and two large dogs and had plenty of space. Would stay here again!

Great spot. Close to the water, restaurants, and store. We love Almanor and try to get up at least once a year. Nadine’s home was great. Clean, comfortable, and had absolutely anything and everything you could need to help make you feel at home. Even our Shepherd felt right at home. I would 100% recommend this property. Fit for two families with separate units, but just the right size to get all together for dinner! Thanks Nadine!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Worked out great for our family. Most of the lakes were very close by. Spectacular weather in the high 80's. Great dinner at the Sierra pines resort.

great host and very responsive. unit was surprisingly cute and updated in the older home neighborhood and it accommodated all guests. the two single beds were a tough sleep for adults but should be fine for kids

We love this location and the camp all together. We stayed last year and it has quickly become a repeat family summer trip. We brought the grandparents this time and they were very impressed and just loved their time there. We love Lake Vera! It’s so beautiful and is made for all day fun. Updated kitchen, spacious, plenty of room for a boat, close to Rec area, good communication with owners. No complaints

Clean house. Quiet area. Huge driveway for guests/boats. Plenty of room to sleep a lot of people. My only complaint was that the trash bins were completely full when we arrived for a weekend.

We stayed at this place in Winter (January) and had a blast. The view is absolutely beautiful and our family had a great time in the big open space of the house. The house was fully stocked with anything you could need (kitchen wares, spices, movies, games, POOL TABLE, HOT TUB)! It was within walking distance to the lake, a driving distance to surrounding towns, and just enough distance from everything to feel quiet and peaceful. If we are ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay here again. Katrina was a great host and was extremely responsive for anything we needed.

We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Great kitchen with everything you need. Thank you for having us.

Best ever cast iron wood-burning stove, so easy to use. Hot tub was very clean. Nice dark bedrooms. Lots of appliances in the kitchen. Lots of natural light in the house. Very peaceful secluded. Nine minutes to Nevada City. Gorgeous fall foliage, nice landscaping. Vincent gave us a detailed tour, coached us on how to start a fire, brought in extra wood, very friendly, gave us our privacy.

We absolutely loved our time staying at Ryan’s home. The furniture and other amenities throughout the home — living area, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc — were all very high quality and so comfortable, making the experience so cozy and enjoyable. The location is also fantastic, situated so close to Sugar Bowl as well as other open spaces for skiing and other outdoor activities. We visited with our one year old and four year old, and we so appreciated the safety gates provided in the closets, as well as lovely toys and games to enjoy during our stay.
