Karon’s cabin in the woods at Texahoma was the perfect spot to celebrate our 16th anniversary. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care she put into making the space special—she had it all set up just for the occasion, which meant so much to us. Even though it rained the whole weekend, the cozy vibe of the cabin and the peaceful sound of rain in the trees made it a beautiful, relaxing escape. The hot tub was absolutely perfect, especially in the cool weather. Karon herself was incredibly friendly and welcoming—she even stopped by to visit and check in, which we really appreciated. Her hospitality truly made this stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully with clearer skies next time!

The property is beautiful! Wish the weather was nicer for fishing, walking, and enjoying the hot tub. Next time! I will be back!

WOW! What a find! I can only echo the wonderful reviews that have already been written. Inside and outside, everything is first class. Starting with the inside, the house has the perfect orientation of windows to be able to view the fields and trees. The bedroom windows are larger sized to enjoy the view as well. The open concept design of kitchen, dining, living room is super comfortable with the centerpiece being the fireplace with shelving that is tastefully decorated. I wish I could do that! The beds were memory foam and very comfortable. As far as the outside, we have dogs, so the property was perfection with the privacy and fields to walk the dogs or go outside with them and not worry about cars or neighbors. The ability to sit out on the front patio in the shade and enjoy the view was so pleasant. I hope we have the opportunity to come back sometime!

Our cabin was great, we had the North Cabin and it opened up to the backyard with the pool and picnic tables. Very clean, staff was exceptional!

If you’re looking for cozy and quiet, this is your place! It was the perfect size for me and my husband for a couple of days. We absolutely love the cabin feel and we definitely are coming back!

The host was extremely responsive and friendly. The location was also very clean and my children had ample space to play. Would definitely book again!

We stayed for a NYE getaway and needed more time after the given check-out time. I messaged and received a resounding yes in a few minutes. Best NYE to relax and enjoy Lake Texoma and the surrounding beauty. This is a MUST stay for anyone visiting in the Mead, OK area!

We had an amazing time. Sherri’s home was clean, quiet and peaceful. We were close to the marina, stores,anything we needed. Definitely would go back.

Such a great place for the weekend. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck where it was quiet and peaceful. All you could here was the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. We spent some good time hiking and exploring in Eisenhower State Park. There are some good trails, and it’s fun hunting fossils on the beaches.

The cabin is fantastic! Even though it’s super close to the highway, it feels very secluded. We loved the peaceful surroundings-and deer visited the area next to our cabin morning and evening! The queen bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom offer just the right amount of space. If you need to work remotely or just stream your favorite shows, the WiFi is amazing! We had a great stay at the red cabin and would stay again!

Had fun. The beds were uncomfortably hard. But the view from the upstairs balcony was beautiful!

Nice and clean would stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Wood Guest Ranch. Such a beautiful and peaceful place with lots of walking trails and natural areas to explore, along with the petting zoo and playground for kids. Laura and all the staff were friendly, easy-going, accomodating and helpful. Appreciated them letting guests stay longer on the land to enjoy the solar eclipse. The cabin was clean and just right for our needs. We can’t wait for our next visit!

I feel so grateful to have stumbled upon this gem for our family Total Eclipse trip. I loved that the cabin provided a clean place outside the city and couldn't get enough of the beautiful secluded surroundings. My family loved the friendly animals and the beautiful nature paths to explore. There was a grocery store and dollar general less than 10 minutes away where we picked up basic necessities. Rachel and Laura were very friendly and accomadating and always quick to respond and had great recommendations to nearby attractions to celebrate our daughters birthday. We had a great experience that we'll remember for years to come and would recommend to anyone that's looking for a beautiful place to unplug and unwind from the chaos of the everyday hustle.

Was a great place to stay at for our fishing trip. The kids really enjoyed being there. I recommend it if you’re in the Lake Texoma area.
