I can’t say enough wonderful things about this guest suite! As a mom on a rare solo getaway, I was looking for a space that felt peaceful, safe, and a little luxurious—and this place checked every box. The design is modern and elegant, yet still so cozy and comfortable. The private deck was such a lovely bonus—I enjoyed quiet mornings out there with my book and a cup of coffee. The bathroom felt like something out of a boutique hotel, and the entire suite was spotlessly clean. What truly made the stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, and even left a sweet note and a few little touches that made me feel right at home. It's clear they’ve thought of everything. I left feeling rested and refreshed—exactly what I needed. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a great vacation. It was centrally located to view waterfalls, beaches and lighthouse. Great restaurants near by. Very friendly residents

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and beautiful beyond our expectations. Exquisite view of the lake, amazing stars, absolutely anything we could want in a north woods retreat. Will be back for sure!

This is just what we needed for a “home-base” while we went fishing up and down the North Shore rivers. Super convenient location in Two Harbors that’s close to everything in town. Amanda was very responsive if we ever had a question. Recommend.

What an incredible weekend!! Bill was so very welcoming and his is place was amazing!! We enjoyed many libations and were even able to fancy a pontoon ride on beautiful lake. A picturesque setting in the woods with spectacular views and one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

The apartment was beautifully laid out and had a very relaxed and comfortable feeling. Everything was recently updated, easy to use and very comfortable. Really appreciated the coffee beans you provided. Great location to get to the lake for a walk along the shore. Loved the La Monarcha restaurant next door and easy to walk to the wonderful Black Cat Cafe, coop and other great stores down town. If I come back to Ashland I will first look to see if this bnb is available because it was so comfy and clean. Best, Mary

Patty and Dale's place was perfect for our weekend getaway! The apartment was clean, simple, cute, and had everything we needed. Quiet, comfortable and a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. It’s off the main Hwy. but still in the heart of the action and walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the local brewery. Do North was our favorite for pizza, and Vanilla Bean has fantastic coffee and breakfast. The architectural antique store had some unique finds too. Agate Bay Beach and the Two Harbors Lighthouse were just minutes away, which made it super convenient to explore the area. Patty and Dale were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and timely, and Patty checked in a couple of times during our stay. She was quick to answer questions and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was a perfect landing spot between our weekend adventures, and the price was spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed a stay with 3 couples. The property feels peaceful and secluded but is very close to town. It is bright, clean, and comfortable. The view of the lake is stunning.

Paul was great. Super friendly. Our kids enjoyed the wooded area, roasting marshmallows on the fire, playing Uno on the deck while listening to music. No TV and WiFi was perfect to disconnect and enjoy hiking and the sandy beaches! Thanks for the great experience.
