We truly had a great time at Stana’s place. She is an excellent communicator and responds quickly to her guests. The house was large enough for us to have a large gathering for a gaming weekend. We played wiffle ball in the backyard and the kitchen was well equipped We enjoyed walked in the neighborhood and visited downtown shops. The location of the property on the river was fantastic with great views. We would return for a future event with our family group.

I have traveled to south central South Dakota for many years and stayed at several of the area motels and lodges before discovering the Cozy Cabins. In my opinion, the Cozy Cabins are far superior to any of the other lodging options in the area. The Cozy Cabins are exceptionally clean, comfortable and well appointed. But what really sets the Cozy Cabins apart from the competition is Maija, the terrific host. Maija is incredibly gracious, thoughtful and responsive. The pride she takes in owning, operating, maintaining and continuously improving the Cozy Cabins is readily apparent during each stay. If you’re simply traveling through South Dakota on I-90 or staying in the greater Chamberlain area for an extended period, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Cozy Cabins. I have stayed at the Cozy Cabins on an annual basis since 2020 and had an exceptional lodging experience each time.

Very nice place, we really appreciated how welcoming she was. Not far off the interstate and a perfect spot for passing through, but would definitely come back for a hunting trip with a group. Just a heads up that the location is the dropped pin and not the location on website, but she made it clear before arrival.

I choose 5 stars for all but would gladly have done 10 if they were available. In my opinion this place is seriously undervalued for the experience received. Comfortable furniture - beautiful home - great outdoors and on the river to boot. If someone is serious about getting the best value for their investment then this is 100% the place for you.

My mom and I were traveling through the state. I found Stana's place really quickly and booked on the spot. It was the best place we could have stayed in the area. The place is right off the interstate making it extremely easy to get to. The scenery is beautiful and you get friendly neighbors. The Check-in and check-out process were extremely flexible and easy. The units are all in a house where you get to meet other travelers. A really relaxing fire-pit is on the rear patio overlooking the water. The local area has neat houses and a really quaint town with great local breakfast spots. Stana herself is absolutely wonderful. If I am ever in the area I will absolutely stay at this place again. I wish I could have stayed an extra day. Thank you Stana! :)

Scenic Lodge in beautiful, rural setting

A unique place for a stopover, a blend of luxury and remoteness (actually very close to the interstate). Just be sure to arrive before dark, because the road signs are hard to find. We had the entire lodge to ourselves, with many amenities, including a piano. Great for a morning jog or hike. We enjoyed it very much.

We love cozy cabins! Best air bnb hosts ever! Our car broke down and the hosts helped us get food and connected w a mechanic! Seriously such kind and awesome folks! Would recommend! One million stars
