A very well appointed and equipped rental with a splendid view of the lake (excellent bedding, bathroom and kitchen at the top!). The main advantage was to be a little secluded from the city center of Gerardmer allowing you to enjoy the calm of the chalet while being able to pick up your bread on foot! We had a lovely time in Thierry's chalet. It's located at the peacefulll side of the lake: so nice and quiet at night. The chalet is very cosy and spacious, with more than enough utilities; a great bed and nice couch and chair. It had everything (and more) than we needed. We felt really at home. The snowy weather was off course a very nice surplus, because there's loads of nice walks (with our dog) and spectacular views in the surroundings. Thierry is communicative, reacts within hours and was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Would 200% recommend and we would love to come back :-)
