Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Brown County

This place was great for our needs! Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Water was up so it was nice to sit out and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The host was very responsive and helped out with everything! Even answered a few questions before we asked.

Lynette's place was amazing! The scenery is breath taking and the area is so peaceful. We enjoyed every bit of it: from hanging out on the pier balcony to fishing. It's definitely a must stay!!!

Amanda was a fantastic host!Unquestionably a great place to stay. Absolutely loved it!!! The home was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful. I will definitely be a returning guest. I would recommend it to anyone needing a place near the lake.

A great stay of you like quaint farmhouses. It’s beautiful and comfortable. It did get pretty chilly in the house (58) and couldn’t figure out how to turn the temp up but it wasn’t that chilly for long.

My family stayed at Rusty's home while attending my son's wedding. I accommodated our needs very well. Rusty was very responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend for a peaceful place to stay.

We had a wonderful weekend here I definitely recommend! the place was beautiful and clean, amazing nice fenced in backyard was wonderful for all the boys we had to play football! The beds were so comfy, and the entire house was extremely clean which was great!! The house had all the essentials needed to make a enjoyable stay, will definitely book again when we visit next time. If you're looking for a child friendly safe big family place to stay this is it, lots of room in this house our family loved it! Thanks again we appreciate it!

Ted’s place is a gem ! We enjoyed everything about it ! Very spacious , cozy , a place to relax & unwind ! We felt right at home. It was very clean & had everything we needed. He has it set up nicely - creek for fishing 🎣 propane grill for grilling , fire pit for s’more’s kayaks / oars , paddle boats , 🛶 life jackets for everyone safety . Kids really enjoyed it ! Very peaceful 😌 We all had a a great time! Ted is welcoming & very good host ! We will come back again ! Thanks Ted cya next time

Shannon is a wonderful host! Kevin(property manager) is super responsive as well! Thank y’all for having me! As for the apartment, I travel for work and work with primarily men. If I had scooped this place up with one of my coworkers, I would have been a bit uncomfortable due to the only bathroom being located in the bedroom. The layout when you walk into the front door is the living room with a couch. There is room for an air mattress in the living room if you moved the couch a bit. Luckily, I didn’t need the air mattress. Then you walk into the bedroom where a full size bed is located. The plug in located near the bed is a bit of a pain(cord/plug falling out)if you’re needing to charge things such as a computer, phone, or tablet. The bathroom is located in this area as well. Then you walk into the kitchen where a washer and dryer are now located beside the fridge and stove. They are just not listed! That was a great surprise since I am here working. Thanks again!

I loved staying so close to campus. I felt the price was a bit pricey considering the kitchen needs a little refreshing and overall furnishings BUT the bathroom was super nice and the parking was convenient. And I felt very safe. It's a great property it's def authentic Brownwood college living and I didn't hate that at all and the ac and fans and lighting in primary are great. All works well. Beautiful bedroom ceilings love the backyard charm they have added. It's just an older home and close to the train but that is clearly in the description. I would stay there again💙💛💙💛

Thank you. Even though there was a LOT of cats in the surrounding, we were able to rest, we had to give our kid something for her allergies, but overall the place inside was very clean.
