Cozy flat in central Stockholm

A welcoming and a comfortable design flat, within walking distance of just about all the sights in Stockholm, including The Old Town, and a short stroll from the green and tree-filled expanse of Royal Haga Park. This cozy flat from 1883 is located in the heart of the Vasastan neighborhood, one of the city’s more pleasant enclaves. Just around the corner is Odenplan, a Stockholm hotspot for great cafes, bars and restaurants like Tranan (Traditional Swedish), Tennstopet (Traditional Swedish) and Panamé (gorgeous, easy-going French bistro). At Odenplan you will also find the nearest subway stop and buses. Despite its central location, the area is safe, peaceful and quiet. The flat has two bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and balcony, and one with two single beds. An extra bed can be arranged. Both bedrooms face a small park. In the welcoming studio-room there is a fully equipped, modern kitchen with a dining area seating five, which leads into a relaxing and welcoming living room. The bathroom has a bathtub and washing machine. After a lovely night in the garden house, breakfast is taken to the dock next to the big pond. With a cup of freshly brewed coffee in hand, you look out over the beautiful, park-like grounds where there's always something exciting to discover. With Mälaren's glittering water just a short walk away, it's easy to attract a swim at Stockbybadet. We are close to the big city but still in the countryside and with walking distance to both a grocery store and a lovely pastry shop, you are happy to stay a little longer.

Very nice, clean house in a settlement, two public beaches nearby. Super connection to public transport (bus and boat to Stockholm). Restaurants and shopping in the village of Ekerö. Lena was always eager to help us, good-humored and accommodating. We felt very comfortable!

Stayed very well. Very friendly hosts with their 2 little puppies and an apartment rabbit. Convenient accommodation close to Stockholmsmäsdan with a good value for money for this expensive city. From Arlanda airport there is a way to get there by bus no.583 (15mn) + train n°41 (1h) from Märsta station (terminus) stopping at Alvsjo station where there is a convenient and reasonably supplied co-op store From there you can: . walk 22 minutes, . pick up a bus (the SL app to download will guide you) or . an Uber (about 120sek for 3-4 min ride). In public transport your CB serves as a valid 75mn public transport ticket for the modest sum of 43kr (about €4), boat lines from the city center, especially to go to the Vasa Museum included (boat line n°80). There is a superb pizzeria (BARA) 30m from the accommodation but no other shops nearby. Thanks again for a great stay Cynthia.

Wonderful hosts – very friendly and welcoming. The house is clean, well-kept, and cozy. In the morning, they serve a delicious breakfast. The room is comfortable and nicely arranged, with a TV if you feel like watching a movie. The apartment is in a great central location, with many places of interest just a short walk away. We had a great weekend in this lovely apartment!

Very nice ‘tiny home’! Cleverly designed and very tasteful. Located in a beautiful quiet residential area. Very warm welcome from Sara with clear explanation. Even some food and drinks in the fridge! I slept a little less on the sofa bed, my partner slept wonderfully on it. We were even allowed to borrow their bikes, but these are not suitable for long distances and uphill cycling. Still fun to explore the neighborhood with. 3-day pass bought and traveled to the city by bus and T-rail. Was doable, half an hour on the road. Parking in front of the door (free) and private terrace. Really a top spot!

We had a very nice stay in the tent. There was good wood that was needed as it was cold at night, but we stayed warm with the fire, the fireplace and warm duvets. The food was very good and super nice to get breakfast in the morning. It was very dark outside, and the string of lights and headlamps that were there had pretty bad lights or were out of battery, so tips to bring your own headlamp/flashlight if you are there when it's dark! Otherwise, everything was very nicely arranged and smooth!

Ann-Sofie's place is a gem. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Super easy check-in. It is also located by a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. Ann-Sofie is very responsive and even provided us with breakfast for our first day. I'd highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Stockholm.

Norah is super responsive, warm and kind, she puts a lot of effort in making her guests comfortable. She has such a positive energy and thanks to her hospitality, we were able to check-in much earlier due to our flight, and leave our bags on the last day way past check-out. It made our journey so comfortable. I definitely recommend this place to everyone, travelling to Stockholm - it’s a true gem!
